“I just want to start off by saying that the bagels at Maru Bagel are SIGNIFICANTLY smaller then the average size bagel you would get at another breakfast / bagel store. I paid $18 for 3 bagels and an orange juice. With that being said… they have a wide selection of options of lunch foods (sandwiches) and breakfast wraps and egg specialities. I love coming here because it is local and they have a GREAT selection of cream cheeses. They by FAR have the BEST pumpkin cream cheese in the area. YOU MUST try to the cinnamon French toast bagel with the pumpkin ? cream cheese you will love it!“

“Didn’t know what to have for dinner on Good Friday-no meat. Greek Xpress didn’t disappoint. Ordered grape leaves, spinach pie, the family platter which consisted of plat based gyro, spinach pie, falafel and zucchini fritters and an order of grilled vegetables. Food is plentiful and tasty. Regarding the food:

Grilled Spanish Octopus: Highly recommended. The potato pave is delicious, and the octopus is tender with a perfect charred exterior.

Short Rib with Bone Marrow: The meat is very tender and falls apart at the touch of a fork, though I wish the portion of bone marrow was a bit larger.

King Salmon: Quite tender.

Burrata Cheese: Standard/average.

Caramel Flan: Delicious and beautifully presented.

Overall, it is a great spot for a nice dinner.“

Vegetarian options: Masala dosa is my favorite. It’s like a potato pancake and gluten free. Then there is the chapati roll up with lots of cooked vegetables inside and a salad. The taste is indescribable, and some of the dishes, if requested, have a touch of Indian spices.

Dietary restrictions: I am happy that they have many gluten free options. Annam Brahma has only vegetarian food. The desserts are homemade.“

There's usually no line to order. My only complaint is they are very cheap on how much they give you. They don't fill up the bowl and they give you very little chicken in the salads. Danny worked with us to create a menu that was tailored to us and our guests and we got SO much food included in the package we did. He also worked with us to create table arrangements that worked best for our event. I was worried at first that the space only being partially private and not a true private room would be an issue but it was not at all! We really didn’t need it and were happy to still get to enjoy the Sinatra singer that plays for the restaurant that night. He even came over and sang for our party and had us dance which was not expected but a fun surprise that we loved! Overall we had a great event here and I am so happy we chose them to host it!“
