“Had a really nice time at Tavern 157! The wagyu burger was juicy and full of flavor, and the oysters were really fresh. Loved the drinks and the cozy atmosphere too. “Stopped by the Hindu Temple Canteen for breakfast and tried the Pondicherry Dosa, Rava Masala Dosa, Vada, and Madras Coffee.
The Pondicherry Dosa was crispy on the outside with a flavorful filling inside. The Vada was really good, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The Rava Masala Dosa was a little oilier because it's made differently, but still tasted good. Both dosas tasted pretty similar once dipped in the chutney and sambar.
The Madras Coffee was really good too. Everything was fresh, and the prices were reasonable. Our total was only $30.48.
Overall, a nice spot for a simple South Indian breakfast. I'd definitely come back!“

“I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.“

Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The Pla Ma Nao was one of my favorites — the whole branzino was tender, and the spicy lime broth was bright, tangy, and full of Thai flavors. The Tom Yum seafood was also excellent, with a rich, spicy and sour broth and plenty of seafood.
The papaya salad (Som Tum) was fresh, crunchy, spicy and refreshing, and went perfectly with the heavier dishes. We ordered several dishes to share and honestly everything on the table worked really well together.
If you like authentic, bold Thai flavors, this is definitely a place worth trying. Highly recommend the Pla Ma Nao, Tom Yum, and papaya salad. We’ll definitely be back!“

“Great food at a great price. Best of all cart and I've been to a lot. whenever I'm in the neighborhood I stop by and usually get myself two Gyros so I can eat one for lunch and have one for dinner. “It's been a hot hot hot minute since I came here after I moved to Long Island Suburbs. My son's big day today and I took a trip here to pick up my custom strawberry cake layered with their famous lightly sweetened freshly whipped cakes. When you step inside It's as if you step back in time. My mom first took me here when I was 11 or 12 and this place still look the same. The bakery captures a lot of customers from the surrounding businesses such as the hospital. It's great to see a flow a diverse crowd visiting this Gem. I also picked up half dozen curry beef pastry and their chicken rolls. I took a bite and taste just like my first time eating them in the 1990s when I was a little boy. When I want a good delicious healthier cake I come to Yeh's.“

“AWESOME KOREAN RESTAURANT IN LONG ISLAND: I’m not a foodie and I don’t think I’ve ever posted about restaurants (but I am Korean) - I have to make an exception for this place. Yes, this restaurant is on Long Island, but the Korean food EXCELLENT (better than lots of places in Flushing) and service is OUTSTANDING. Every dish we’ve tried so far (짜장면, 순두부찌개, 육개장, 제육덮밥) has been so amazing, delicious, and authentic (especially the spices!!!). If you’re ever in the area, please stop in and eat here. It’s crazy awesome! Thanks to my friend for encouraging me to try at a Korean restaurant that is not in Queens. My family will be forever grateful - five stars and 2 thumbs way up from me and my family members. :)“

“Never knew this restaurant was here. I’ve always gone across the street to the Chinese restaurant but if I knew there was a Spanish restaurant across the street I would’ve definitely supported them. It seems like as well it’s a pretty clean. I’m gonna taste the food and give a review on that. Coffee is very good. The breakfast presentation very nice.
