“coming there for years. nice atmosphere, good food and friendly service“

“Delicious fresh food and amazing drinks! Celebrated my friend’s bday there and we had a 12 course menu! Great atmosphere and the DJ was a great touch! Had a great time at Kaizen.“

“Delicious sushi. Super fresh fish, you can taste the high quality ingredients. Based on an entirely parve concept. Love that they offer traditional Chinese dishes with fish as a protein instead of chicken (like sesame chicken and lo mein). It's nice enough for a night out yet budget friendly enough to make it affordable. Also great option for take out. The billionaire's roll is perfect for tuna lovers. They had amazing home made iced tea as well. They also have lunch specials and buy 2 get 1 free for sushi rolls. Would definitely be back!“

“This is some of the best sushi I have ever had. Super fresh ingredients and the sushi so good I didn’t require dipping sauce. I highly recommend.“

“It's pretty nice inside and I like the massive selection that you can choose from. Definitely cool for hanging with friends or a casual date because the vibe is pretty chill. I usually don't have to deal with a wait before being seated and the skewers are great for sharing because they're all bite sized.“

“This is the only place we will order our sushi from. From the food being fresh and delicious, the price being good and to top it off calling in an order and hearing the owner say “hi Victor”. That little touch is great and welcoming. Thank you very much!!“

“Great service, the food is such a great value when you go for happy hour, but even normal price hand roll set is a good deal. Very tasty sashimi, my favorite were the salmon roll and yellowtail hand roll.
The cold sake was very good for the price.
Server was friendly and attentive.
Would definitely come back!“

“best poke Bowl I've ever had“

“This place has been around for a very long time, the owner is and always has been so hospitable. The food always fresh and tasty. Streamed shrimp shumai is a mustttt! I had the maki eel and dragon roll and it was great. Jazz was playing on the stereo which made the perfect ambiance for me. I will always come back.“

“I had a fantastic dining experience at Mann Sarka Asian Bistro! The menu offers a great variety of both kitchen entrees and sushi. We ordered the General Tso's Chicken and a few of their Chef Special Rolls, including the 'Out of Control' roll. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. The service was prompt and attentive. Highly recommend this spot in Floral Park if you are craving high-quality Asian fusion!“

“Sashimi新鮮，龍蝦🦞5食好味，服務非常好！👍🏻“

“I get the shrimp tempura 3 roll combo almost every week. What makes this place different from others is their CONSISTENCY! Every week I come it’s the same great tasting quality. Most spots you go to will be good one week and horrible the next . That’s not the case here . Would upload a picture but I already demolished it before I got a chance lol“

“Awesome (Chicken) Katsu Curry. Got it while visiting a friend and already planning on getting it again next time I’m in town. Super friendly staff. Got it to go and they had the chicken, rice, and curry all organized and separated so it didn’t get mushy in transport. A great sign that they take pride in the quality of their food.“

“This place is amazing. It’s like Gaijin of Astoria from back in the day, but better. It’s a speakeasy omakase sushi bar in the back of a Thai restaurant. The chef is personable and friendly. The food is delicious. The ambiance has got a cavernous vibe as in a literal cave. Highly recommended!“

“Great find. Very clean place and great food.“

“Such a great spot for all you can eat sushi! We loved the different rolls, all so fresh! My favorite was the moonstruck, volcano and black dragon. Restaurant has such a nice modern vibe, very clean and spacious. Would recommend especially if visiting in the area great spot for lunch!“

“Just ate here for the first time last night - a friend highly recommended it. The food was amazing - we had two poke bowls, chicken teriyaki, vegetable fried rice, shumai, Chicken negimaki - everything delicious. Can’t wait to go back!“

“Ocean Code Handroll Bar delivers an exceptional sushi experience with fresh ingredients and beautifully crafted handrolls. The nori is crisp, the rice is perfectly seasoned, and the fish tastes incredibly fresh. The modern, welcoming atmosphere and attentive service make it a great spot for both casual dining and special occasions. Highly recommended for sushi lovers.“

“great omakase good and fresh fish....not bad for Queens location“

“My husband likes sashimi, so he often orders sashimi rice bowl. It's fresh and kind. I thought about what it would be like if the bowl was round. More like a real bowl.. But I eat it in a bowl at home, so there's no problem.
I highly recommend it.“

“I absolutely love this sushi restaurant and highly recommend it to anyone looking for great sushi or roll or both. The sushi and specialty rolls are always fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. One of the best things about this place is that the prices are very reasonable, especially considering how fresh the fish is and how generous the portions are. It's becoming harder to find a restaurant that offers both excellent quality and affordable prices, but this place does exactly that. What really makes this restaurant special, however, is the owner. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm smile and made to feel like family. The owner is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely appreciates every customer. It's clear that they take pride not only in the food they serve but also in creating a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience for everyone who visits. If you're looking for delicious sushi, great value, and outstanding hospitality, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. I always leave satisfied and look forward to coming back again. Highly recommended!“

“Excellent food! Highly recommended. 😍 fried sushi, mango avocado cucumber roll.“

“I absolutely love this place.. been going to them for years... All staff is amazing!! food is fresh and delicious... ❤ can not wait til this is all over and you open back up!“

“Went to Otaki Sushi for lunch and it was worth it. The service was on point; our server was super polite, always checking in, and she made sure our hot tea was never empty. The tea is really good and pipping hot not warm.

We had the salmon teriyaki bento boxes for $14, and you definitely get your money’s worth. The salmon was fresh, no fishy smell, cooked perfectly with a nice crust outside but still moist in the middle, and not drowning in sauce. It comes with broccoli, snow peas, and corn. I like my veggies crunchy so I enjoyed it, but if you like them softer, I’d just mention that when ordering.

The bento also came with California rolls, and those were really good too. Between the portion size, quality, and service, you leave full and happy. Five out of five.“

“Felice di esserci stata é assaggiato le loro delicie. Personale gentilissimo“

“Years and years of support for Mikado and they don't disappoint. My go to spot for sushi and Japanese dishes. Staff super friendly and address their regulars by name. They seem to remember everyone's ordering preferences as soon as they walk in. Recently expanded their seating area so dining in is a nice option as well. Parking can be a little tough especially during movie nights but not impossible. Very reasonable prices. Overall highly recommend.“

“We order take out from here maybe once a month and we always get a large order when we do. Their food is always fresh, flavorful, and leaving us feeling fulfilled and satisfied! Their rolls have an excellent filling to rice ratio! My youngest son loves their California Rolls and anytime we get them elsewhere, he says he prefers from Sushi You. They are very thoughtful of presentation, preparation, and protection of the food en route. Super friendly on the phone and they always double check the order placed. Thanks for your excellent food and service! We'll continue to support you!“

“Best sushi in Long Island“

“This is very personal review.
Im crazy of sashimi.
It is very impossible to find raw live fish in other states.
But, Only N.Y and L.A. does have this because they have so enough sashimi restaurants with high demand that they could import raw fishes with acceptable Transportation costs from korea by airplanes.
This is economies of scale.
Anyway,
Sashimi was excellent for me.
Service and Atmosphere doesn't matter to me.
I was so happy to enjoy live fish.
I recommend you to visit if you like to live seafood.“

“Clean. Fresh. Good. You walk in and you are greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable manager. He knows the menu backwards and forwards and has great suggestions. They have a great setup for all the ingredients and the food is prepared quickly and expertly. Love the seating area. Good for 1-4 people. More would be challenging. Good prices, as well.“

You definitely can’t go wrong when you get sushi here! Delicious. Bayside roll, wasabi roll, giants, summer, dragon, rainbow, winter, are my Favorite. Also the orange sashimi“

“If you want simple all-you-can-eat classic sushi for an unbelievably low price, this is the place to go. Support our local mom-and-pop restaurant with excellent made to order service.

Dietary restrictions: My son has egg/dairy/wheat allergies. They made sure all food was good with my son.“

“price is really good and it tastes great too! I got the salmon combo with 2 pieces of added salmon sashimi. The people who run the place are also very friendly, they gave great service when I messed up my order and called to change it.

idk why someone else said the area isn't safe or something - it's literally really close to flushing main st so there's always people around. the entrance is hard to spot though.“

“We had the rainbow roll, maki combo w/tuna maki, salmon maki, and crab maki and an eel maki combo and everything was absolutely fresh and delicious. Great portions, excellent presentation, and the service was on time, courteous, and friendly. Highly recommend Samurai Sushi of Williston Park.“

“As I entered this place , I seen how cute and clean it looks. They are polite and patient and receiving the food was fast like max 10 minutes wait. I ordered 3 rolls, the spicy shrimp, sweet potato and spicy tuna roll, which came out to under $25 dollars and I wasn't able to finish it which I'm happy about so I can enjoy again :) I will definitely hit this spot again , I'm glad it's here“

“Wow 🤩 the food is delicious! Eat as much as I want for 35$ wow! Love the beef skewers! This is my first time in all I can eat and I love it! I came in with empty stomach and left with a full stomach! Don’t have to check the prices and eat as much as I can. I highly recommend this spot! If you are swimming by the beach and get hungry please head to this spot for an unforgettable experience! With all love! Thank you! Just PLEASE DONT ORDER EXTRA! Never order extra! It will be hard to finish.“

“Just had the best meal from omas! Everything was so fresh! We all couldn’t get enough! So yummmm!! Can’t wait to come back again ❤️❤️❤️“

“The staff upfront is so nice. She politely answered all my questions and helped me understand the menu. I ordered the coconut smoothie and the coconut mango milk. The coconut smoothie is so light and refreshing for the heat, definitely good for someone who doesn’t like super sugary drinks. The coconut mango milk is so delicious and you get to choose the sweetness. I also ordered the general tsp bento box and it came with a lot of stuff. Good portion sizing I really liked everything I ordered. Also when ordering the food they let you put an allergy which is super accommodating. I will be back.“

“We stopped here on a weekday and ordered hot and sour soup, which was absolutely amazing! We also ordered the egg fried rice and the vegetable chow fun, which was made perfectly spicy and delicious. Yung who took our order was extremely friendly as well. Will definitely be back to try some of the other staple items.“

“I'd recommend this place ... sort of. We chose to sit on the dining side since it was only two of us and didn't want the "show". The service was friendly and good but not overly attentive. Our drinks were very good and a fair price (we had the Oceanside Zombie but without the Sprite added). We both ordered the hibachi surf and turf (lobster and filet mignon) which came with a house salad and clear soup, both of which we really enjoyed. The filet was tasty but the pieces were cut very unevenly so some pieces were medium rare and others were close to well done. The lobster tail was very small and too salty. I would not order it again. I was completely disappointed that the veggies were drowning in teriyaki sauce. There was no indication on the menu that they are served in sauce. I typically love hibachi vegetables but I hate teriyaki sauce! They reminded me more of Chinese takeout vegetables than Japanese hibachi. The fried rice was good but not the best. It came with lots of peas and I hate peas. Another disappointment but not a surprise was they don't offer hibachi mustard sauce. Like so many other places these days they offer yum yum sauce instead which we refused because, yuck yuck. They offered us some ice cream on the house (I think because the server knew I was very disappointed about the teriyaki sauce). It came to the table in little plastic cafeteria style cups with the pull back paper top. LOL. I'm glad it did though because the top listed the ingredients and let's just say, we immediately sent the ice cream back. All in all, not the greatest hibachi experience but also not the worst. I would maybe go back for drinks and try some other menu items ... and hold the teriyaki sauce!“

“At Hinoki Counter, the experience was excellent—an enjoyable, relaxing meal from start to finish.

The chef is someone who thinks deeply and is constantly refining his craft.
What stayed with me most was something he said: “Rice is more important than fish.”
It sounds simple, but it’s actually very difficult to achieve.

Not everyone can cook rice that truly matches the quality of top-tier ingredients.
To get it right, he has spent a great deal of time experimenting, adjusting, and refining.

In that moment, you realize this is more than just cooking—
it’s a respect for the craft and for the details.

The entire meal felt more like a dialogue than a one-way service.
He patiently introduced each dish, and we discussed flavors and shared our impressions.

That kind of interaction made the experience feel both high-quality and genuinely warm.“

“Great sushi, always fresh. You can ask them to make you something specific, and they will do it.
They won’t give you attitude or force you to take from the fridge like some other supermarket sushi places do.
Always fresh and delicious.“

“Great sushi & drinks & happy hour!!“

“one of the best Japanese cuisine you can experience. They have the teriyaki special platters for a great price which comes with everything you can taste about this place. The food is yummy and the staff/atmosphere is great. keep up the good work guys :)“

“Friendly staff and tasty food“

“I’ve been coming here on and off for many years — this place has probably been around at least 20 years. It’s one of those old neighborhood sushi spots a lot of locals know about.

This is Korean-style sushi, which is a little different from traditional Japanese sushi. One thing that makes it unique is they give you Korean spicy sauce to dip the sushi in, which actually adds a nice kick and a different flavor.

Also just a heads up, this place is take-out only, so you’re basically grabbing your food and going.

The portions are still pretty generous, so if you’re just trying to eat a lot and get full, this place does the job.

That said, prices have gone up recently and the sashimi slices seem to be getting smaller compared to years ago.

If you're looking for real high-end sushi, this probably isn’t the place. But if you want a lot of sushi for the money and a quick takeout meal, it still works.“

“Amazing service! Had a great time here.“
