“As I entered this place , I seen how cute and clean it looks. They are polite and patient and receiving the food was fast like max 10 minutes wait. I ordered 3 rolls, the spicy shrimp, sweet potato and spicy tuna roll, which came out to under $25 dollars and I wasn't able to finish it which I'm happy about so I can enjoy again :) I will definitely hit this spot again , I'm glad it's here“

“Mandy, Tina and Yoyo make my drink the best out of all the places I've had drinks at. The service and food are toptch notch. Love the fact that they know what I am drinking and get it to me as soon as I sit down. We eat n drink here almost every week while doing laundry next door. Haven't been disappointed yet.“

Not only that, they had amazing menus on iPads and gave us multiple options for water. Lastly, they had our food out extremely quickly and it was extremely good, especially the fries which was very surprising. Each roll was very pretty and perfect for photos. Thank you so much for Sam and Brooklyn for their incredible service at such a late night, it meant a lot because it was after my sister’s graduation and she loves sushi. “This place is amazing!!!! I went with my grandmarents for dinner and I orderd the Branzino Francese AND IT WAS DELICIOUS! The garlic linguine went beautifully with the lemon wine sauce and was filling too!

The sevice was fantasic as well, the waitress made sure our table was taken care of very well!

And dont even get me started on the ambiance! this is the perfect spot for a date night, family event, or even if your out with your friends!

“Chef Mark Garcia is the best! Unexpectedly, my mom and I were the only ones there, so he was extra attentive and kind. We both really enjoyed every course. We had the 10-piece omakase course. Fish was super fresh, rice was made so well. My favorite piece was the otoro, and my mom's was the seabream. Pictured is the otoro and scallop because I was impressed by the scoring on the scallop. Rice to fish ratio was ON POINT - not much rice, good size piece of fish. Dessert was actually scrumptious - loved the mochi-wafer and the vanilla gelato was delicious. Definitely will come again, I think it's a great option for omakase in Queens. 10-piece omakase is only $65 per person.“

“Had dinner with the family on July 4th. We were seated promptly, the food was fresh and unlike other all you can eat places, the food came out pretty fast, plus nothing was missing, no matter how many times we placed an order.
With a 2-hour limit, we did not feel rushed to order and finish our food. The servers were extremely attentive in refilling our drinks and clearing away empty plates. Kudos to ANNIE for explaining and introducing the entire menu and the ordering policies! I've been to a lot of AYCE places and most of them just toss the i-pad at you without explaining anything. “Went to Otaki Sushi for lunch and it was worth it. The service was on point; our server was super polite, always checking in, and she made sure our hot tea was never empty. The tea is really good and pipping hot not warm.

We had the salmon teriyaki bento boxes for $14, and you definitely get your money’s worth. The salmon was fresh, no fishy smell, cooked perfectly with a nice crust outside but still moist in the middle, and not drowning in sauce. It comes with broccoli, snow peas, and corn. I like my veggies crunchy so I enjoyed it, but if you like them softer, I’d just mention that when ordering.

The bento also came with California rolls, and those were really good too. Between the portion size, quality, and service, you leave full and happy. Five out of five.“

Im crazy of sashimi.
It is very impossible to find raw live fish in other states.
But, Only N.Y and L.A. does have this because they have so enough sashimi restaurants with high demand that they could import raw fishes with acceptable Transportation costs from korea by airplanes.
This is economies of scale.
Anyway,
Sashimi was excellent for me.
Service and Atmosphere doesn't matter to me.
I was so happy to enjoy live fish.
I recommend you to visit if you like to live seafood.“

“I’ve been to a lot of sushi spots in NYC and Long Island, but Daruma of Tokyo in Great Neck honestly surprised me in the best way. The vibe here is so warm and inviting, the staff actually pay attention to you, check in without hovering, and make you feel comfortable right away. It’s the kind of place where you can relax the second you sit down.

The sushi was unbelievably fresh. I’m picky about sashimi, and theirs tasted clean and smooth with zero fishy aftertaste. The tuna practically melts, and the salmon had that perfect buttery texture you only get from really high-quality cuts. The amaebi and ikura were standouts too, sweet, fresh, and not overly briny. You can tell they take their time with the prep because everything came out beautifully presented.

One thing that really impressed me was the pricing. For the quality you’re getting, it honestly feels like a steal. I’ve paid way more at places that didn’t even come close. This spot proves you don’t need to drop crazy money just to get genuinely good sushi.

It’s definitely a place I’d bring friends or family to, especially people who appreciate authentic Japanese flavors without any pretension. And yes the claw machines in the back are such a cute touch. We ended up playing after dinner and won a couple of toys, which just made the night even better.
