Katsuno is a true gem of a place. It’s easily my favorite restaurant of my life. I love everything about it. The food, the service, the aura of the place, the jazz that plays while you eat. The food is authentic, good quality and made with skill and love.The menu is quite traditional and simple made with beautiful technique and feels like you are in Japan. I am so happy this place exists in Queens.
Very hidden location, super easy to miss.The fish is v fresh so I would recommend getting sashimi. Owners are very nice and accommodating.Perfect date night spot. If you're a sushi aficionado, this place isn't revolutionizing sushi, but that's not the point. It puts out a consistent, good product and serves their community.

Very good sushi. Super fresh. The food is really great, but their prices are definitely expensive . Maybe if you were getting more of a vibe or at least a bar, it might justify. But the food really is great.
