Himitsu - Omakase is a hidden omakase spot in Flushing, offering an intimate and cozy atmosphere. Every bite is precision, and the experience is quiet and intentional. The chef explains the different fish selections, making the experience enjoyable even for someone who isn’t an omakase expert. Guests can customize their experience and choose Japanese dishes instead of a fixed menu, making the meal feel more personal. The 10-piece omakase course features super fresh fish and rice made so well, with a perfect rice to fish ratio. Favorites include the otoro and seabream. The dessert was scrumptious, with a loved mochi-wafer and delicious vanilla gelato. Service is warm, friendly, and attentive. The food, service, and vibe are well worth the $ spent. Considered one of the best values in omakase in all of NYC, it is a great option for omakase in Queens. Guests will definitely return.
