“After my aunt's funeral service ended at 10:45 am yesterday, I called Brasserie Creole to see if they were open to service my family and I, a total of 20 people. Unfortunately, takeout was available only. However, the lady who answered the phone was very pleasant and told me it was ok and Brasserie Creole will accommodate my family and I. When we arrived, we walked through the takeout section and into the restaurant. The same lady who answered the phone was the one who greeted us with a bright smile and positive energy. She setup the table for 20 people and it was lovely. She took our order and she did not take long bringing our hot food. We were served a variety of delicious Haitian food which also included the Haitian Macaroni and the famous pickles. They had music in the background that was appropriate for the occasion as well. Another waiter came to assist. We felt special being the only people at the restaurant and we were treated very well. The staff had a welcoming personality and they were professional. I was grateful to everyone who made sure we had good food and drinks to comfort us as we were remembering my beloved aunt.”

“This place makes the best Haitian food I've had in years! I used to go to Good Taste but they've gotten rather expensive and super stingy with their portions. This place, on the other hand, offers better food at cheaper prices and MUCH larger portions. Their Griot is sheer perfection, the joumou is great, and their chicken and legume is on another level. They are also very friendly and remember your name. You MUST stop here and grab a bite!”

“There used to be a restaurant in this exact spot called “HOT POT” . Hot Pot was literally by the far the most disgusting Jamaican food I’ve ever had in my life and I mean everything was nasty no matter what you tried so I’m not too sure if this store now is under the same management or it’s a completely different owner but the food is so much better than Hot Pot is and I’ve had different food from this place and everything has been good CONSISTENTLY. It’s fairly new and I hope that the quality never changes but as of right now ? I would definitely recommend this place to anybody . The Chef at Irie be doing their thing and it’s underrated right now maybe because of the bad experience from the previous Jamaican spot that used to be in the same exact spot but I promise you guys that it’s not the same quality as Hot Pot was and you won’t be disappointed ? and the customer service was good no attitudes like the typical Jamaican spots”

“Went here last weekend to have lunch with our daughter who goes to St. Johns. Parked right on the corner (Metered ) no parking lot for those wanting to know. Mostly college crowd. Service was quick and good. Photos from others are the same as ours so i won't post. We would definitely go back again.”
