“Service 8.5/10. Food 9/10. Can’t rate the bathrooms because my family and I didn’t use. Parking is limited but we were able to get a spot upon arrival, and seated right away upon entering restaurant. The workers at the door was very friendly but the young crowd serving especially a girl with red hair name Guila, was not so friendly, she kept starring at my family, which is very rude, customers eating and you just looking in people face I mean find some work to do, walk around do something. I would return maybe on a different day, my son did enjoy the sonic menu which is only available for a short time.”

“I have grown up in Rosedale for most of my life, I’m only about 10 minutes away from Bayhouse restaurant, the food the service was awesome!!! I cannot wait to return there again, you will not be disappointed.”

“A great place to pick up a sandwich, IF... you enjoy spending quality time standing and waiting, even with no other customers in the store. I had such a great time as a statue at the counter! And by 'great time' I mean TIME in the longest sense of the word. Oh and the sandwich was not bad either. If waiting patiently happens to be a hobby if yours, then you will love it here :)”

“Great option now that its not just one liberty location. Same taste and great service. Clean environment and friendly staff.... I think they're getting everything sorted out and only had their menu on the screen. Or their house hot sauce they didnt make yet but everything was full of flavor. From the chicken being crispy and the noodles having that perfect texture. Lets not forget its halal”

It’s all about the flavor, and most restaurants just cook to sale, but Merrick J*** cook to please. They’re Potato pudding is good too.. not too sweet, but just right.Dietary restrictions: Not salty like most Jamaican restaurant.”

“I was amazed by the Halal menu. So many choices. The customer service was incredible. I told the evening manager I’m visiting from Miami, he also said he was just Miami on his vacation. “Checkers never disappoints !! This was my first time at this location and i was pleased. The gentleman at the counter was very nice. He got our order together perfectly! “Omakase was aite. Took very long for each course to come out. Approximate time was 2 hours for the entire 12 omakase set. It was 7 pieces of sushi, 1 sorta handroll, 3 appetizers and one dessert.”

The bathrooms were super unpleasant. It is a publicly shared bathroom and is poorly managed.Vegetarian options: There were not a lot of vegetable dishes here, but decent selections. “this is one of the best food places in flushing. we come here every time we visit new york and always get numerous lamb skewers. the skewers are so flavorful and extremely juicy. along with the spiciness, it makes a perfect combination and a true jewel of flushing.lamb skewer (9.5/10)”

“Food is excellent every time however the portion sizes are ridiculous. If you’re charging $17 for a bowl I expect more than half a spoon of rice. The workers behind the counter are almost always oblivious and are not usually friendly. It’s a shame since the food is so good and this can easily be a 5 star spot.”
