“I only been here twice, and it was very good. I was helped by a girl named Chemeil who was very nice, friendly, patient, personable, and knowledgeable. I got the jerk chicken and it was tasty. The second time I had jerk chicken, rasta pasta, ginger pink lemonade, and a ginger mango drink. I was helped by Stacey another nice, friendly, patient, personable, and professional person. I had a lot of questions about the menu for both of them and they answered very patiently. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu.”

“I order from here quite often because the wings are so good! They’re always hot and fresh and the fries are delish. I recommend calling ahead as the food is made to order and you could be waiting up to 20 minutes if you just stop in. 10/10 I’ve never had a bad experience.”

“I wasn't sure about this location based on the Google reviews but Uber Eats had great reviews so I was somewhat confused but because Uber Eats had over 1000 reviews so it definitely superseded the Google ones.

I don't know about the other reviews but I never had any issues with my food and when they didn't put in a sauce for me they would drive back and bring me what I need. Try this place out especially the Curry shrimp ask for it extra spicy and the garlic sauce Chicken wings ?.”

My daughter took me to Margie’s for my birthday, and we had such a wonderful experience! The food was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was warm, upbeat, and full of great energy.

A special shoutout to our waitress, Carla, who made the experience even better! She was friendly, welcoming, attentive, and made sure our meals came out in a timely manner. Her energy was amazing, and she truly made us feel taken care of.

“My friends and I had a lovely afternoon at The Rockaway Hotel Pool house. We were greeted by a warm and friendly hostess, Isabella, who made us feel so welcomed. Our beautiful table was in the perfect spot to take in all of what the Rockaway Hotel has to offer. The outside bar and Pool house are exquisite. The pool was bustling with excitement. Our waiter, Andrew, was polite and helpful . I highly recommend coming to The Rockaway Hotel because their staff is highly professional and attentive.”

“My God… Chongqing Lao Zao might be the best Chinese hot pot I’ve ever had. And if you’ve seen my other reviews, you know I’ve eaten at A LOT of hot pot places. 😂 This one seriously impressed me.

The entrance is actually pretty small and very easy to miss, but once you walk through that door… WOW. It feels like you just stepped into a Chinese palace. The decorations, the details, the atmosphere—everything is beautiful. Before we even started eating, I was already walking around looking at everything.

Then there’s the service. Next level. The servers were so attentive that they basically wouldn’t let us lift a finger. 😂 Plates cleared, broth checked, food taken care of—they were always there without making us feel rushed. That kind of service really changes the whole experience.

And of course, the hot pot itself was incredible. Rich, authentic flavors and exactly what I want when I’m craving real Chinese hot pot. Great food is one thing, but when you combine it with this atmosphere and this level of service, it becomes an experience.

I review a lot of hot pot restaurants and usually can find at least one thing I would change. This time, I really can’t.

“I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.”

“This is the best Korean eel spot in the east coast. The eel is so fresh and tender... melts right in my mouth and the scallion salad is phenomenal. A couple owns this spot and the auntie here is so generous and nice,, I would come back just for her:) All the side dishes, especially the kimchi and bean sprouts, are made by her personally and I've never had better. This became my go-to spot!”
