I only order j*** pork & j*** chicken, and I most say that this is the BEST j*** chicken & pork I have EVER taste in America. I am hooked. It’s all about the flavor, and most restaurants just cook to sale, but Merrick J*** cook to please. They’re Potato pudding is good too.. not too sweet, but just right.Dietary restrictions: Not salty like most Jamaican restaurant.

I stopped here for some carribean food on my way home after a long day of work. I checked Yelp to ensure the reviews were decent and headed in. When I walked in, the two ladies working in the back greeted me with warm smiles, which was a plus. This spot is for takeout as there is very little seating. The place was clean and there were two people in front of me but the line moved fast, which I loved. I definitely recommend this restaurant if you want to enjoy some nice, juicy but tender and well spiced j*** chicken. It's seasoned just right, no need for sauce if you don't want it. I usually use them for catering, during the holidays, and often when I have large family dinner parties. I cater, the j*** chicken and curry goat. My husband particularly enjoys the fried fish and festival.
