I only order j*** pork & j*** chicken, and I most say that this is the BEST j*** chicken & pork I have EVER taste in America. I am hooked. It’s all about the flavor, and most restaurants just cook to sale, but Merrick J*** cook to please. They’re Potato pudding is good too.. not too sweet, but just right.Dietary restrictions: Not salty like most Jamaican restaurant.

I used DoorDash and spent 30$ on this with a soup. They gave me burnt chicken and flavorless soup with no meat a bone and a piece of yam. I wouldn't go back there. They don't know how to serve customers

Not impressed. Came into town after a long flight and this was the first place I hit up as I was craving for some j*** chicken. The chicken I was served was cold and seemed as if it wasn’t fresh. The rice and peas was fine but I ended up immediately throwing away all of the food. It just wasn’t edible.

I stopped here for some carribean food on my way home after a long day of work. I checked Yelp to ensure the reviews were decent and headed in. When I walked in, the two ladies working in the back greeted me with warm smiles, which was a plus. This spot is for takeout as there is very little seating. The place was clean and there were two people in front of me but the line moved fast, which I loved. I ordered a small j*** chicken dinner with rice and peas, vegetables and plantains. I also ordered two pieces of festival that i love. The cost was comparable and affordable to other Caribbean spots. Even though I had a small, there was enough food to eat for leftovers, which I love, especially if the food is good, lol. The meal was very delicious with everything seasoned and cooked well. They had a display of all their available food right behind the enclosed glass, which was great to see what you were ordering. This is a place that I will return to and check out some other menu items.

I definitely recommend this restaurant if you want to enjoy some nice, juicy but tender and well spiced j*** chicken. It's seasoned just right, no need for sauce if you don't want it. I usually use them for catering, during the holidays, and often when I have large family dinner parties. I cater, the j*** chicken and curry goat. My husband particularly enjoys the fried fish and festival.

I got food from here tonight and it was absolutely amazing. The j*** chicken was nice and spice just how I like it and the bread fruit was delicious. It’s worth your money. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. Please come and tryout this place. The lady was so sweet and nice. I’ve never had such good food in a long time. It tasted like home❤️. This will be my new spot
