“Despite some people saying quality went down, I got two platters and I enjoyed them a lot. Chapli, Kofta, and chicken was really good and well seasoned. The rice was fluffy and tasted fine, nothing too crazy. The sauces stood out and were very good and felt very refreshing.“

I ordered 2 slices with some toppings and the crust was crispy with fresh toppings. The only reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five is that I found the sauce to be a bit on the sweeter side for my taste. But, highly recommended“

“Grill Point is a nice place to go for Kosher food in Kew Garden Hills. Pictured here is lamb and turkey Sharma, and the fried were ok too. They have a nice selection of good comfort food, and the quality has kept me coming back over time. Try it...you'll like it.“

“The Lo mein here is absolutely amazing.
Piled steaming hot ,along with some Oolong tea and a plate of General Tso's Chicken ( ask for all white meat,the dark is a little greasy) ,you can't go wrong and you'll be coming back regularly.
Parking around here can be be tough, depending on the day and time,but it is well worth it.
The atmosphere is suitably exotic, where you feel as though you're thousands of miles away on a strange adventure through foreign lands .
Definitely a must visit,and they deliver as well.“

Try their new lunch bento box, it’s only $14 and salmon one is $16 so pretty nice price in town🫶 I recommend the chicken bento, you can get rice onigiri 🍙 , chicken, soba salad and miso soup coming together!! Great beverages as well such as the slightly sweetened Jasmine iced tea and Sanzo (lychee & calamansi) sparkling water products!“

“Chongqing Lao Zao is a restaurant where you go not only for the delicious food but for the entire experience. You walk through the entrance and it is like stepping into a whole new universe that takes place in ancient China. The staff is friendly and seating is comfortable. So many food options and a beautiful sauce bar as well. Definitely recommend the dual pot. Beware of the amount of chilis in their spicy broth. Mild is shockingly spicy but we ended up separating the chili peppers from the broth after a bit and got the tomato broth to balance it out. A small thing but we also really enjoyed the little snacks they brought out in the beginning. Watermelon seeds and I think they were broad beans? Seasoned really well. Highly suggest either grabbing a reservation or joining the waitlist early here.

Shelly makes everything with love and is always offering new items at the best quality. She is especially generous to offer different versions of the same smoothie for other people’s preference

“Ramro was excellent! We had the duck and pork momos, beef longanisa, skate, duck, gnocchi and saag paneer. When it came to dessert, my son asked “can we get another skate?” Flavors were balanced and full and the skate, beef longanisa and momos were the favorites for us. It is very cozy and homey and the service felt like family. Oh, and my watermelon cocktail was excellent too. We are so excited about Ramro being so close and in the neighborhood; this will be our new family favorite.“

“157 Tavern has been a staple in the area for 10 years and is an excellent choice for parties or group gatherings. You can simply provide them with your budget, and they will curate the menu for you, which makes the planning process very convenient.

Regarding the food:

Grilled Spanish Octopus: Highly recommended. The potato pave is delicious, and the octopus is tender with a perfect charred exterior.

Short Rib with Bone Marrow: The meat is very tender and falls apart at the touch of a fork, though I wish the portion of bone marrow was a bit larger.

King Salmon: Quite tender.

Burrata Cheese: Standard/average.

Caramel Flan: Delicious and beautifully presented.

Overall, it is a great spot for a nice dinner.“

“I went to a family friend’s 70th birthday party they hosted in the Atlantic ballroom. The space was modern and very clean. The food was DELICIOUS!!! And the workers, Yiselle, Estrellita, and Shorty (blonde) made the event so memorable! They paid attention to every detail, whether it was filling our water cups, collecting unused plates and of course they did it all with a warm smile. They were kind, funny and very welcoming. “I was very impressed, moonlighting in the bartender night life for the last 20 years. I normally don’t go out to bars. My sister and myself were down at Lenox hospital for our Dads surgery. One of the desk staff at Franklin Hotel recommended Penrose! The staff, manager and bartender were so friendly. I have to say I was very happy. I will certainly pop over again next time I’m in the area!!!! The drinks and food were top notch… So cheers Penrose to your amazing hospitality ❤️“
