“My opinion is 8.3/10. Overall I did enjoy it for my first shashuka. $15 for hummus, 2 eggs and 2 pitas pockets. Overall fresh and enjoyable. “Amazing kosher candy spot in Kew Gardens Hills! Main Sweet has the best selection of sweets, chocolates, and treats around everything from bulk candy to beautiful custom baskets. I especially loved their Purim baskets this year; they were beautifully arranged, packed with delicious kosher goodies, and perfect for mishloach manot gifting to friends and family. The staff is super friendly and helpful with orders too. Highly recommend stopping by or calling ahead for holiday specials. Definitely my go to sweet shop in Queens! Highly recommend!!!“

“This place is amazing!!!! I went with my grandmarents for dinner and I orderd the Branzino Francese AND IT WAS DELICIOUS! The garlic linguine went beautifully with the lemon wine sauce and was filling too!

The sevice was fantasic as well, the waitress made sure our table was taken care of very well!

And dont even get me started on the ambiance! this is the perfect spot for a date night, family event, or even if your out with your friends!

“Had the falafel sandwich like many times as a vegan, but this was soooo good. Crispy outside, soft moist inside. Your choice of “salads”/pickled veggies to add into it. I had baba ghanoush, Julienne pickled carrots , and a cubed roasted eggplant, onion, and tomato. So flavorful without being overpowering w any one ingredient. Eddy makes everything homemade by hand. Everything! The falafel, hummus, baba ghanoush, the pickles, the pita. Pita so good. Large thick and soft. My friends had a beef kabob sandwich and chicken plate. They said it was delicious. “I must say this place really impressed!
Maybe one of the cleanest looking restaurants I have ever scene.
Very nice ambiance.
Food was yum, we got truffle fries, penne aka vodka, the cauliflower, and mozzarella sticks, and pizza.
Got a salad that was ehh but they took it back no problem, really good service.
Bathroom was also very nice, fresh smelling…..

“I am always on the hunt for a good falafel shop and this place hits hard! Great food, fresh, the people who run it are nice and hook it up with samples from time to time. Never had a bad falafel here. It's run by observant Jews, so the only downside for non-Jews like myself is they're closed Friday evening and all day Saturday! But as long as they're here, I'll be treating myself to one of the best falafel sandwiches in the neighborhood.“

“Clean. Fresh. Good. You walk in and you are greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable manager. He knows the menu backwards and forwards and has great suggestions. They have a great setup for all the ingredients and the food is prepared quickly and expertly. Love the seating area. Good for 1-4 people. More would be challenging. Good prices, as well.“

“Full disclosure, I know and really love the owner and his family. However, even if I didn’t , which I do, I’d give this five stars. Pizza is fresh and delicious, the place is spotless and they are always cleaning, portions are plentiful, the falafel is fantastic and I love how they warm up the pita to give the sandwich a nice crunch. Service is great. When we got there no one knew we were friendly with the owner but we were treated as if we were. Everyone was. Fast, efficient and good. “Everything was delicious. We hosted a Purim breakfast at our temple and everyone was so happy and full. I personally put in the order myself and everything from ordering to delivery was so smooth. We ordered large quantity of variety of bagels with all types of cream cheeses, salmon salad, white fish and tuna. Plus we got crepes with ricotta cheese which were Devine. And we ordered lots of croissants 🥐 , plain and chocolate which by the way are huge. I can’t say enough how fresh and delicious everything was. Highly highly recommend this place!!“

It’s not always easy to find something that’s both healthy and packed with flavor, but this salad was exactly that. The ingredients were fresh, the portion was generous, and every bite tasted amazing. The service was friendly, and the overall experience was great. “*4/5 stars — Great hall and food, one staffing issue*

We held our event at this hall and overall it was a really nice experience. The venue is clean, well-decorated, and has a great layout for guests. The food was a standout — fresh, hot, and flavorful. Everyone at our table commented on how good it was.

The only issue we ran into was with one of the volunteer staff members. Instead of serving, he sat down and ate with the guests. He also cleared plates and removed food from the table while people were still eating. It was awkward and threw off the flow of the meal a bit.

Outside of that, the rest of the team was attentive and the manager was responsive when we mentioned it. For the quality of the hall and food, I’d still recommend booking here. Hopefully they address the volunteer training so guests can finish their meals in peace.

“A friend of mine and I had a lovely experience at Laffa Bar and Grill. The outside tent was spacious, the food is plentiful and delicious! I also like the changes they made indoors. It has a very nice ambiance. The Owners are warm and welcoming as well as each of the staff. Service with a smile..how refreshing! “I was in a super rush to get to the airport this morning and I had a family of eight to feed before I get there I called Moshe at the Giant bagel store and gave him the order over the phone and 10 Minutes later the food was waiting for me all packed in bags and boxes Moshe and his wonderful staff even his wife came to the rescue I can’t thank them enough. Here is what makes this place stand out:

The Layout: It’s super comfortable to navigate. They even have a proper ramp at the entrance, making it incredibly accessible if you’re pushing a stroller or a heavy shopping cart.

The Setup: It’s essentially two great experiences in one. One side is a fully-stocked, structured supermarket with great options and excellent value for your money.

The Cafe/Bakery Side: The other side features a fantastic mini-bakery. You can grab a coffee, pick up some fresh baked goods, and actually sit down to enjoy them. There is a dedicated seating area which gives it a great, welcoming vibe.

The staff is friendly and nice. While the checkout lines move at an average pace, the overall comfort of shopping here more than makes up for it.
