“With a name as generic as Bagel Shop in NYC, you better be good. Any concerns regarding quality were quickly dispelled when we walked through the door. The place was packed. We ordered a very basic selection of bagels and assorted spreads, nothing fancy. Overall, the food was great and the coffee was too...piping hot which is a plus. This is clearly a solid local spot with a well deserved reputation. We are glad we visitied and would return.“

“The best bagel spot in Long Island by far. Everyone there is so nice, the place is always super clean, and it smells AMAZING the second you walk in. You can tell all of their food is fresh because everything tastes incredible every single time. The staff are so friendly and genuinely great people. The minute I walk in, they already know exactly what I ordered.

“Everything was delicious. We hosted a Purim breakfast at our temple and everyone was so happy and full. I personally put in the order myself and everything from ordering to delivery was so smooth. We ordered large quantity of variety of bagels with all types of cream cheeses, salmon salad, white fish and tuna. Plus we got crepes with ricotta cheese which were Devine. And we ordered lots of croissants 🥐 , plain and chocolate which by the way are huge. I can’t say enough how fresh and delicious everything was. Highly highly recommend this place!!“

“I was in a super rush to get to the airport this morning and I had a family of eight to feed before I get there I called Moshe at the Giant bagel store and gave him the order over the phone and 10 Minutes later the food was waiting for me all packed in bags and boxes Moshe and his wonderful staff even his wife came to the rescue I can’t thank them enough. “All I wanted after arriving in NYC was a good bagel…and there, magically close to where we stayed was Maspeth Bagel. We ate there while waiting to go to our accommodations; we got take away the next day and the next day we placed a large order, including bialies(!!) to take on the road with us! The right amount of chew to the bagels. Stacked and loaded with the chosen fillings (turkey/avocado or eggs or tuna salad, even with the cream cheese of choice!) And choices for cream cheese.. too many to ever have to ‘settle’. I never did get to try the arancini or meals but saw several and was jealous!! The right bagel is just the beginning.. the people and rest of the options are what make this worth going back to on a regular. If I lived here, I’d make it a point to be there too many times every week. Enjoy every bite you get there…I did!“

“I was passing by 495 Service Rd during lunchtime today and decided to try out the chopped cheese sandwich since they are my favorite and it was truly amazing! I watched them make and I could tell it was prepared cleanly and with great care. The owner was kind and left a wonderful impression on me. The price was great, so I think I’ll be coming back here often.“

“I didn't know, is there a legit 'bagel club?' Found this spot via google maps and thought to give it a try while waiting for my nearby coffee shop to open. Today, before 8am the place was quiet. Only one other customer, who was engaged in a conversation with the guy behind the counter. The shop is spacious and the fact that it wasnt busy and the food items for sale were very spread out, made the place seem very big, too big for the amount of business seen and lack of table seating. It was clean though. Customer service was ok. Straight forward.
I went with the sunflower seed (flat) bagel. Not a usual bagel flavor of other bagel shops. It is actually very good. A lot of seeds. If you like sunflower seeds, go for it. I guess it is flat to accomodate all the seeds.
I also grabbed two pumperknickel and one everything toasted with cream cheese.
The everything wasnt toasted enough for my liking. There was a decent amount of creme cheese.
Overall the vibe was off, very quiet for a weekday morning. Maybe they are more of a mid-day lunch spot. They had everything a bagel shop typically has e.g. cream cheese flavors. But not heaping amounts of each compared to City locations which anticipate much more business. While it is a decent place, i wont pick this club over others if I had to choose.“

“One of my biggest things I do is when I go out of town is I always look for something local. And right next-door where I was going to be was my favorite bagel. I figured I’ll go get a bagel and a drink. Well I walked in there, and there was all different types of pizza there there was a salad bar on the other side and then there was a bakery got a piece of pizza. I don’t know what kind it was but let me tell you something from where I am in New York this was nothing like it. The pizza was out of this world. I give it five stars or even 10 stars if I could really good food definitely will go back again.“

“I frequently stop by Bagel Spot first thing in the morning. I have nothing to say but to say that this is my morning go2 spot prior starting my day. The bagel Spot here in Forest Hills, Queens. I don't obviously order the same exact service daily, i definitely rotate a combination from one service to another. For example Day 1: I order a sandwich and day 2: I order an omelette. ETC

The owners: Ruben and Steven along with their staff team are great here and will assist whatever service you guys need. Great authentic NYC Bagels and sandwiches are solid, it would definitely different if you try another version compared to this spot in other states.“

“I have lived in NYC most of my adult life. I have never found a better place to nosh on a bagel until now. The salmon avocado toast (on a bagel) was so incredibly delicious: I was on cloud nine. the lox is buttery soft and melts in your mouth. the avocado is fresh. the bagel is roasted perfectly. they add red chili flakes which for me is the proverbial icing on the cake. i had a heavenly cold brew with almond milk (they serve la columbe). Ambience (on a Weds morning) was chill. I am sad I don’t live nearby because this would certainly be my neighborhood haunt. Thank you for the best breakfast I have had in years.“
