“With a name as generic as Bagel Shop in NYC, you better be good. Any concerns regarding quality were quickly dispelled when we walked through the door. The place was packed. We ordered a very basic selection of bagels and assorted spreads, nothing fancy. Overall, the food was great and the coffee was too...piping hot which is a plus. This is clearly a solid local spot with a well deserved reputation. We are glad we visitied and would return.“

“The hospitality here is truly unmatched. We were visiting from out of town, and it was immediately obvious that this is the kind of place with a loyal community of regulars. Ben greeted us with so much kindness, humor, and genuine hospitality that we felt like regulars ourselves.

We trusted him to choose our order, and every recommendation was absolutely delicious. What started as a quick pit stop before we left NYC ended up being one of the highlights of our entire trip. But I recently bought 2 bacon egg n cheese for $10 each and could not eat it it was fresh and tasted not like it usually does and hardly had bacon. Bought a bagel it was hard for $6 I was really surprised it was for me and my kids but we could not eat anything. And the eggs were extremely fresh...smelling can i get a refund ?“

“One of the best spots for bagels in LIC. They have lots of choices, with different options for breakfast and lunch, and there is plenty of seating, which makes it easy to sit down and enjoy your food.

When it first opened, I honestly think it deserved 5 stars. The taste and quality felt better back then. Now it still tastes good, but not quite at the same level.

I am taking one star off because of that drop in quality, but it is still one of the best bagel places around.“

“Everything was delicious. We hosted a Purim breakfast at our temple and everyone was so happy and full. I personally put in the order myself and everything from ordering to delivery was so smooth. We ordered large quantity of variety of bagels with all types of cream cheeses, salmon salad, white fish and tuna. Plus we got crepes with ricotta cheese which were Devine. And we ordered lots of croissants 🥐 , plain and chocolate which by the way are huge. I can’t say enough how fresh and delicious everything was. Highly highly recommend this place!!“

“The best bagel spot in Long Island by far. Everyone there is so nice, the place is always super clean, and it smells AMAZING the second you walk in. You can tell all of their food is fresh because everything tastes incredible every single time. The staff are so friendly and genuinely great people. “I was in a super rush to get to the airport this morning and I had a family of eight to feed before I get there I called Moshe at the Giant bagel store and gave him the order over the phone and 10 Minutes later the food was waiting for me all packed in bags and boxes Moshe and his wonderful staff even his wife came to the rescue I can’t thank them enough. “I didn't know, is there a legit 'bagel club?' Found this spot via google maps and thought to give it a try while waiting for my nearby coffee shop to open. Today, before 8am the place was quiet. Only one other customer, who was engaged in a conversation with the guy behind the counter. The shop is spacious and the fact that it wasnt busy and the food items for sale were very spread out, made the place seem very big, too big for the amount of business seen and lack of table seating. It was clean though. Customer service was ok. Straight forward.
I went with the sunflower seed (flat) bagel. Not a usual bagel flavor of other bagel shops. It is actually very good. A lot of seeds. If you like sunflower seeds, go for it. I guess it is flat to accomodate all the seeds.
I also grabbed two pumperknickel and one everything toasted with cream cheese.
The everything wasnt toasted enough for my liking. There was a decent amount of creme cheese.
Overall the vibe was off, very quiet for a weekday morning. Maybe they are more of a mid-day lunch spot. They had everything a bagel shop typically has e.g. cream cheese flavors. But not heaping amounts of each compared to City locations which anticipate much more business. While it is a decent place, i wont pick this club over others if I had to choose.“

“One of my biggest things I do is when I go out of town is I always look for something local. And right next-door where I was going to be was my favorite bagel. I figured I’ll go get a bagel and a drink. Well I walked in there, and there was all different types of pizza there there was a salad bar on the other side and then there was a bakery got a piece of pizza. I don’t know what kind it was but let me tell you something from where I am in New York this was nothing like it. The pizza was out of this world. I give it five stars or even 10 stars if I could really good food definitely will go back again.“

My friend and i get 2 BEC everyday from this place and its part of our friendship. Dont sleep on this place just because its after the exit on the highway. Which is incredibly convenient u can just hop on either side . Like 35 seconds away. Highly reccomend this place. Theres always parking and u can call and order ahead. Good energy good food. “I walked in, and there was an older gentleman who was upset, feeling that he was purposely being overlooked. Two of the managers, who I assumed were managers, came out. They tried their best to console him. I could see in their faces that they were even more upset that he felt this way. They genuinely cared, and to me, that means more than any service anybody could provide. That is top-notch service.“
