“Vegetarian options: They definitely had them!Kid-friendliness: We were able to bring my six week old niece. The restaurant was quiet and calm, the baby slept straight through our family’s meal and we didn’t feel weird about having the kid at all“
“Got a pastrami and a corned beef sandwich. Wow. Very tender and very flavorful. The mustard was also delicious. Will absolutely be coming back for more. Absolute must try if you like Jewish deli sandwiches. The family that runs this place is also very nice.“
“I've lived in NYC for over ten years and this is the best tasting pizza I've found so far. The pizza man there, Ciro makes delicious pizza every time, and, speaking from personal experience, he makes it the way it should be made. Handsome guy too. I recommend you go visit.“
“This was one of the most delicious experiences I’ve had. I’m vegetarian and the appetizers were flavorful, and each unique in taste. The main dish I had (cauliflower shawarma on frena bread) was also flavorful and filling. Ah, and the hummus was unbelievable. The young lady that served us was super hospitable and knowledgeable about the dishes, and recommended some great options. Can’t wait to go back there again.“
“We had lunch with friends total 4 people, salmon, chicken wings and lamb kebab were all delicious, bread and hummus were tasty too.Service and environment were great! This is our second time to come here, definitely will come back again!!“
“What a great bakery. The meat pies were fantastic, and also the pumpkin hand pies. Very flavorful and filling. I was on a Queens tour (from Albany) and was able to get behind the scenes of the kitchen and how they make the breads. Very cool! It was wonderful to see the process and the oven used for baking the meat pies and bowl like different sized breads. It was off the beaten path, and it is so worth visiting.“
“One of the rare kosher eateries I'm aware of serves cheeseburgers, which is a unique find. However, sometimes they can be a bit soggy. It's essential to enjoy them right away to fully appreciate their delicious flavor.Parking: Parking right in front is meter parking until night time perhaps 6/7pm, depending on how many people are out could need to double park to run in and just grab the food“
“Wow, my new favorite indian restaurant.Massive vegetarian selection. I tried the samosas which were good. but their garlic naan was the best bread ive ever tasted. Super fresh and fluffy, yet crispy. I ate the chana masala which was above expectations. The flavors were great and everything tasted freshly made.Service was ok, the employees were attentive and helpful.I will definitely be back. Very well run establishment in the heart of jackson heights. The actual restaurant vibe is ok, seats could be upgraded they are not very comfortable, the place was clean, restrooms were clean and ventilated. The doors need to be cleaned but the restroom itself was very clean which is always a good sign! Highly recommend giving this restaurant a try!Vegetarian options: Excellent vegetarian options like most indian cuisine. Any vegetarian or vegan will find plenty of options that taste fantastic!“
“Some of the best Georgian and Russian food in NYC. Everything I've had here is bursting with flavor and the soups never disappoint. Fried pelmeni from the side orders is my favorite appetizer and the boneless chicken breast Shish Kabob is some of the best chicken I've eaten in my entire life. While not "cheap" everything on the menu is great value. It's one of the most affordable restaurants in the city and the quality is amazing.“
“My friend and I visited the restaurant on Saturday night and were pleased to find ample street parking. The restaurant was clean and tastefully decorated. We were most impressed by the soup - it was delicious! The rest of the menu was also good, although the portions were a bit small for the price. The tea and the dessert were both delicious! The tea came in a small, adorable kettle with two cups, enough for two people, and it was only $4 !I enjoyed my dessert, Lavsh, which was something I had never heard of before, but it was really good. The only downside was the inclusion of a 20% service fee already added to the bill - this type of business should not charge a 20% fee. A more reasonable 12% service fee should be included, and customers can add extra if they feel it is deserved.Overall, the restaurant was a great place with a good location. The food was affordable and tasty, and the atmosphere was pleasant. However, a more reasonable service fee should be included on the bill, as customers should be given the choice to reward the staff more if they feel it is deserved.“
“Wow was I surprised by this place. Went with a girlfriend for lunch and had a great time. We got the Shurpa soup, it only had one piece of meat in it so even though it's cooked with beef & lamb, you don't get both. The fresh herbs in it were delicious! We also got the fresh homemade salad and Korean carrot salads which were both good and grew on you as you eat them, so they just get better during the meal. The steamed dumplings were good and the kabobs were so good! We eat got 3! We stayed for probably close to 2.5 hours and the restaurant didn't mind. It's a great place to meet up with an old friend and catch up on life!“
“This place is one of kind. My dad, who passed away, 3 years ago studied for his actuarial exams here in the 80s. My family and myself frequently come here for pizza and Israeli food. This place brings back so many fun memories of my childhood. My son loves the pizza here. The falafel tastes great, coating is nice light and flaky, like many other falafel, I’ve eaten. Prices remained reasonable throughout all of these years. Planning on coming here as long as this place is opened.“
“I recently visited Art of Grill and was blown away by the exceptional service! Our server Nelly was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. She made great recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The team's attention to detail and warm hospitality made us feel valued and comfortable. While the food was delicious, the service truly made our dining experience stand out. We'll be back!"“
“I celebrated my graduation today in this great restaurant. I am glad to say that we passed a phenomenal evening and the restaurant was certainly one of the reasons for this outstanding evening. The crew cooperated in a very nice manner, the food was appetizing and my friends were very cheerful. We shall absolutely come back again for more celebrations. Thank you very much.“
“For more than a decade, I've been a loyal patron of Grill Point, and their signature Shawarma sandwich continues to impress with its consistent deliciousness over time. The fact that everyone I introduce to this gem enjoys it speaks volumes about the consistent quality of their food. I wholeheartedly endorse Grill Point to anyone seeking the finest Shawarma around.“
“Went the other evening with a group of friends and we had a fantastic time. Great assortment of food, superb service by the staff, and a nice ambiance. The meats tasted great and the side dishes complemented them well. Also can’t say enough about how good that pineapple was - worth going here just for that.A lot of these types of establishments will try to cheap out on how much they serve but we were treated to a true all you can eat experience. At a certain point we needed to ask the waiters to stop because we were all too full.In short we had a fantastic time and we definitely plan on going back.“
“The food was incredibly delicious! I opted for the falafel wrap with fresh lettuce, hummus, and tahini sauce, and it was simply amazing. You can taste the freshness, and it was made with great care. I'll certainly be returning for more.“
“Their food is already pretty delicious, but once you put the sauces... Their sauces are absolutely insane. Also the brisket fries are top tier. On behalf of the Great Neck community, I give this place a solid 5/5. We love you ❤️P.S. I don't know if it was the owner that was serving us, but this guy at the counter gave me all the extras I asked for WITHOUT hesitation.“
“Great customer service. The girl at the counter was very patient with us since we just arrived to New York and the brain was foggy. Get the crazy kafta tortilla with everything on it. It is DELICIOUS!!!! I would come back and get another and add a fried egg in it.“
“This place is great...we had various breakfast items on a Sunday morning and everyone loved it. We saw other items coming out like paninis that also looked great.Suprisingly affordable! Parking can be a challenge...think"around the block" .also the block itself looks a little old and run down but the restaurant looks great and the bathroom was spotless which is nice.“
“Get in line and order because the joint is jumping! Then grab a table and hold on to it because the next family of 5 who walks in and they're ordering for the rest of the extended family the food is flat out delicious. It probably helps to order in advance on line then pick up and take home to serenity. If you're looking to catch up on what's happening in Kee Garden Hills in the Yiddish velt, stop in grab a falafel and see for yourself who has the tastiest falafel in Queens.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes. Street level entrance, drop off area in front“
“I personally went to high school with 2/3 owners of this kosher restaurant. They are really nice guys who know what guys want to eat at a fast food restaurant. They put a lot of time into creating their menu and all the recipes within it. I am extremely impressed with their work. The restaurant also went through a huge renovation recently, and it looks much nicer/put together.I know many young guys, including my younger brother, who are infatuated with this place because of the food there. My brother and I, when we go, get a large brisket fries to share and burger for each of us. It really fills us up, and it is always an amazing time. Their food really has amazing flavors, and they should take pride in their work. For Kosher Questions:Their Hashgacha is VHQAll their meat is Beit YosefAll their bread is Yoshon (except the hot dog buns from what i remember the owners telling me)Dietary restrictions: They have salads and rice bowls that can be customized to accommodate vegetarians and vegans. For Kosher Questions:Their Hashgacha is VHQAll their meat is Beit YosefAll their bread is Yoshon (except the hot dog buns from what i remember the owners telling me)Parking: You need to find parking on the street, but there is usually plenty of empty spaces. If not, you can park across the street in any of the private roads.Kid-friendliness: While there are TV's playing all the time, there is usually a well-known movie or sports playing. The owners usually make sure nothing inappropriate is playing, but keep in mind that they can not control the ads.Besides that, the pictures put up in the restaurant are all kid friendly, and nothing inappropriate is on the wall. There is also a kids menu available.“
“It's just a pizza shop, so no ambiance... Counter service and random tables. The pizza is awesome!! Highly recommend! The regular cheese slice is so good!! They have stuff crust which is a lot! Too much for me but I've always been a regular NY style cheese slice kinda lady :-). Went with a group of friends and had a great time!“
“Priced competitively but the burger size is generous, the seasoned fries are delicious and everything is cooked upon ordering. I've been eating here on-&-off for over a decade. The gentleman who works at the counter (& has been there since I first discovered this restaurant) is so friendly & efficient. I usually order seasoned fries & a turkey burger with toppings and sauces chosen from the toppings bar.“
“I can't recommend this place highly enough. The owner is super friendly and the entire staff is very accommodating and professional. They all make the effort to ensure that everyone enjoys their dining experience. I've been there a few times and have always enjoyed the quality of the food. Definitely check it out!“
