“I've never written a review before but after ordering from Knish Nosh, I had to. I've never in my life tasted such amazing food like this and to be honest I'm very critical and hard to please when it comes to food so like always I was waiting to either be let down or not that impressed but I was shocked I live in the City and I order from these guys 2 sometimes 3 times a week. I'm trying to get in touch with the owner, I'm willing to invest in Knish Nosh opening in the City! Simone E“

“I had an incredible meal at L’Chaim Restaurant and can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment you walk in, the warm atmosphere and friendly service make you feel right at home.
The food was exceptional—juicy, flavorful shish kebabs, perfectly seasoned grilled meats, delicious handmade dumplings (the pumpkin manti and dushpara were highlights!), fresh salads, and aromatic soups that warmed the soul. Everything tasted fresh, authentic, and packed with flavor. The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality.
It’s clear they take pride in their Bukharian/Uzbek kosher cuisine, and it shows in every dish. Perfect spot for a family dinner, celebration, or casual night out. We’ll definitely be back soon—highly recommend L’Chaim to anyone in the area or visiting Queens!

“Great Fabulous Nice amazing Elegant“

“I stumbled across this place after reading something online. Up until my visit, I had never had any food from Uzbekistan and that needed to change!

Because Austin Street is interrupted near this location getting here, or away from here, can be a little tricky. It's no big deal, but I wanted to mention it. Just follow GPS and grab any open parking spot when you get close. If taking the subway, it's a few short blocks from Queens Boulevard.

I arrived after 1pm, so I went with the Samsa's. They usually have lamb, beef, and pumpkin, but they were out of lamb. I tried a pumpkin ($3) and beef ($5) and both were very good. Neither was piping hot, but instead warm. The pumpkin had a hint of sweetness while the beef was savory. They both were more moist than I expected.

This is a bakery, not a cafe. As others have stated, it's a retail storefront, there isn't any seating. The gentleman who rang me up offered me a seat on a chair in the corner, which I was happy to take.

I picked up two more of each to take home, but I'm pretty sure eating them fresh is better. I think a microwave oven will ruin some of the flakiness of the pastry.

When I was there, all of the sweet baked goods were brought in from other kosher bakeries.

I'm looking forward to returning and trying the lamb and hopefully something else that's made on premises.“

Ren was the first time in my life I was able to eat tasty food, and enjoy it!

No one likes leaving a restaurant hungry after spending hundreds of dollars. At Dagim, we spent less than we would have at other places and left completely satisfied.“

“Had the falafel sandwich like many times as a vegan, but this was soooo good. Crispy outside, soft moist inside. Your choice of “salads”/pickled veggies to add into it. I had baba ghanoush, Julienne pickled carrots , and a cubed roasted eggplant, onion, and tomato. So flavorful without being overpowering w any one ingredient. Eddy makes everything homemade by hand. Everything! The falafel, hummus, baba ghanoush, the pickles, the pita. Pita so good. Large thick and soft. My friends had a beef kabob sandwich and chicken plate. They said it was delicious. “I stopped by Tiger Sushi because the atmosphere looked really inviting, and I wasn’t disappointed. The inside was very spacious, and you could tell the food is made with pride and love. Everything was perfectly balanced, not too salty, not too sweet, just right. Can’t wait to go back. Best sushi place in town!“

My mom and 2 children decided to dine here this past Tuesday after searching up about 20 kosher restaurants nearby. We live over 2 hours away but knew we needed to eat good before the long drive back home. Listen… don’t walk, but RUN to this place! I ordered the Tomahawk steak and it came out perfectly. The accompanying chicken dishes (chicken wing poppers, buffalo chicken poppers and chicken and waffles) were superb! You’d think I was a celebrity with how they made sure I left happy. Thank you to the owner for stopping by our table ensuring we enjoyed the food. Thank you to our waiters! We were definitely pleased and will return when we’re in the area.“

“Had dinner at Rothschild TLV this evening and it was incredible. Tal, the owner/chef/amazing person, greeted us as we walked in. Dalmina took over taking care of our table and was beyond incredible. She even catered to our almost two year old son, which was really over the top. The food was breathtaking both by presentation and taste. This is by far the most beautiful and elegant restaurant in Manhattan, let alone the five boroughs. Highly recommend this restaurant to one and all!“

“This is not a place you come to for atmosphere. This is a place for delicious falafel and other Middle Eastern foods, like shakshuka, kibbeh, etc., all vegetarian, since it's kosher dairy. The food is authentic Israeli-style. The staff is friendly, too. I don't wear a yarmulke, my wife doesn't cover her arms, and they serve us, and everyone I've seen walk through the doors with a smile. Good food and civility are universal. Give this little shop a try!“

The reason for the 4 star is only because some of the portions are insanely TINY. For example, the pasta that we ordered... that in itself is maybe 3-4 bites at most. So we were disappointed in that, the other things we ordered were sized decently. But I do wish that they would give just a bit more.

“My wife Lois Padawer and I have eaten here twice during the past month and each time have enjoyed the experience immensely. The first time we even talked with the lovely owner, Tali. Both times we were served by Edward, an expert and gracious waiter. During these dismal times in which live, loud music is an unfortunate commonplace at restaurants (and at weddings and bar mitzvahs and in cars on the road, etc.), but when we asked Edward to lower the volume he did so instantly. Edward is also an excellent bartender. The bathroom is well-maintained. Go and enjoy delicious food in a pleasant setting!“
