“Had dinner at Rothschild TLV this evening and it was incredible. Tal, the owner/chef/amazing person, greeted us as we walked in. Dalmina took over taking care of our table and was beyond incredible. She even catered to our almost two year old son, which was really over the top. The food was breathtaking both by presentation and taste. This is by far the most beautiful and elegant restaurant in Manhattan, let alone the five boroughs. Highly recommend this restaurant to one and all!“

“The food is absolutely delicious. The best Chinese food in the city, in my opinion, and it’s kosher and vegetarian! But I promise you, you don’t need to be kosher or a vegetarian to love this food!“

“We were so looking forward to try out this new restaurant. The ambiance was really nice, staff was GREAT as well. The food was spectacular!!! We didn't order much, just a few appetizers for the most part (as seen in the pics). I would definitely come here again, it's one of those places that just feels like home. So beyond cozy. The reason for the 4 star is only because some of the portions are insanely TINY. For example, the pasta that we ordered... that in itself is maybe 3-4 bites at most. So we were disappointed in that, the other things we ordered were sized decently. But I do wish that they would give just a bit more.
Update: Recently came here again, and it’s truly a magnificent spot with incredible food!“

“The waiters in white coats are busy behind the counter, the menu has not changed for decades, and even the lighting seems to have remained in the last century - this is the old New York I want.“

“Great place for vegan food in NYC. Lots of burgers sandwiches, pasta and desserts. We had burgers and sweet potato fries and tres leches cake. All were good and delivered quickly. Ok amount of seating as the place is small. Would recommend.“

“Akimori on the upper east side is a delightful culinary experience. The fish was extraordinary and the presentation was amazing. The vegetarian option could use a little more creativity. We had the restaurant ourselves, and it was like having a private chef. Kudos to Paul who made us feel so welcome.“

“Exceptional food and service. Each dish had a combination of flavors and textures that were exciting. We loved nearly everything and the items we did not love were still really good. It's not cheap, but I highly recommend it!“

“This is a little oasis in the Time Square area. Service was timely, food was delicious and my glass of Prosecco was perfect. If you enjoy Asian fusion food, then this is a great location for a pre-show dinner. I highly recommend and I plan to return when next I have guests visiting NYC.“

“I had to come write this after witnessing this simply criminal 4.3 rating. Caravan of Dreams is the best. I've been vegan for over a decade and been coming here for just as long without ever ordering the same thing twice (except.. the jalapeno margarita). Service is always kind, and the live music is always good. I've spent several birthdays at Caravan of Dreams. I just spent my last birthday month having three different dinners here. The menu is extensive and excellent, with creative and actually healthy options that still leave you full. The price is standard for the area, but the quality of meal is really unbelievable. The ingredients are fresh and organic, with revolving specials that are actually worth trying. Even their options that include processed substitutes are shockingly holistic. Coffee and desserts are also fantastic. There's really no other place like Caravan of Dreams left here. I suggest it every time a friend wants to make dinner plans, and any time someone asks me about trying vegan food. It's the oldest vegan restaurant left standing in NYC, and even when it had similar "rivals," there was no comparison. I would say the closest menu I remember would have been from Angelica's Kitchen on 12th (RIP), but Caravan's menu is MUCH bigger, and the food is MUCH better. The restaurant itself also has way better vibe - less crowded, cozier, less yuppies, more characters. Go to Caravan of Dreams. It's a one-of-a-kind vegan restaurant that's good for you, good for the planet, and true to NYC, and LES in particular.“

“Delicious Authentic Middle Eastern falafel and shawarma. It's a place that focuses on just that, but does it really well. Every element of the 'sandwich' is made to perfection! The pita is fresh and warm, the shawarma is cooked perfectly on the rotisserie, and each topping is delicious- the humus, tehina, amba, onions... plus ... served with a smile! Open late too!“

“Overall, this is a good spot for a great meal.
However, the service and mgmt were not good. The food was HEAVILY overpriced, but delicious. I guess that’s the case for all kosher food in nyc. Probably won’t return due to high prices.
Advice to mgmt: treat your employees with kindness. We see it as customers.“

“This restaurant is a true gem for anyone looking for authentic kosher Middle Eastern cuisine. The falafel was perfectly crispy, the meat tender and well-spiced, and the salads fresh and vibrant. Service was quick and attentive, and everything tasted homemade. The portions are generous, and it’s clear they take pride in both kashrut and quality. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“If you're looking for authentic kosher Israeli-style falafel in Manhattan, this food truck is an absolute winner.
Finding truly authentic falafel is one thing. Finding it kosher, fresh, reasonably priced, and right in Manhattan is something else entirely. This place delivers on all fronts.
The falafel is crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside, and always tastes fresh. The salads, pickles, sauces, and pita are fresh and plentiful, giving you the full Israeli street-food experience. Every bite feels authentic and brings back memories of grabbing falafel from a small stand in Israel.
As someone who keeps kosher, I especially appreciate having a reliable kosher option that doesn't sacrifice quality or flavor. Too often kosher food gets judged on the fact that it's kosher. Here, the food stands on its own merit. The fact that it's kosher is simply an added bonus.
The prices are very fair, especially for Manhattan, and the portions are generous. Whether you're a local, a tourist, or just passing through the city, this is the kind of place that's worth seeking out.
Fresh food, authentic flavors, fair prices, and a solid kosher option in the heart of Manhattan. What more can you ask for?
Highly recommended and well deserving of 5 stars.“

“First of all, the current store manager is a delight, just a friendly, smart, helpful person! Second, the Drunk Man Noodles are delicious - I ask for extra chicken at a fee and less sweet- and its all worth it. No kosher Thai food in the vicinity that is near this good.“

“Loved the food here. Everything tasted fresh and made with quality ingredients. I got one of their lunch boxes and was impressed by both the quality and quantity. Definitely enough for a satisfying meal.
The hummus was fresh, creamy, and packed with flavor. The salad was crisp and refreshing, and the pita was one of my favorite parts. Soft on the inside with just the right amount of crispness on the outside.
Also, the hibiscus iced tea is a must try. Super refreshing and went perfectly with the meal.
Really glad I found this place. Would definitely come back and try more of the menu.“
