“Kudos to Solera! Service and private seating were top-notch and very personable. Ordered several items from menu and all were delicious! Celebrated granddaughter's 2nd birthday and staff did an amazing job with dessert with candle and song. Traveled from the south and will visit again on next trip to NYC.“
“Another fantastic dinner at PS Kitchen. Highly recommend the Thai Chili wings, crabby cakes and Brussel Sprouts. Our table also had the Linguini Alfredo, Cesar wrap and the Thai Sweet Chili Sandwich. We didn’t like the pretzel bun but otherwise everything was excellent and thoroughly enjoyed. Staff are friendly and we did not feel rushed. Will definitely be coming again and highly recommend.“
“This was a fantastic experience! From the moment we stepped inside, the staff was courteous, engaging, helpful and knowledgeable. We had a party of 3, and ordered 6 dishes. Each dish came out as it was made and each dish was absolutely delicious. A person in our party had a gluten allergy which was no problem and accommodated with ease. We come to NY every year and this will absolutely be a place we revisit again and again! Vegans, vegetarians and omnivores alike will appreciate the dishes and be amazed with the taste! Highly recommended!“
“One of the most upscale vegan restaurants I've ever had the pleasure of going to. Terrific Asian foods with veggie flair, and unqiue cocktails to boot. Try the Bang Bang Broccoli and thank me later... its tempura heaven!Vegetarian options: An all vegan menu in midtown Manhattan!Dietary restrictions: An all vegan menu in midtown Manhattan!“
“Ever since Village Crown closed I have missed a truly satisfying kosher restaurant...and now that I am vegan the challenge is greater. I had a birthday celebration for a party of seven...on a rainy night the place was warm and welcoming. We put together a tasting menu and all of us were wowed. A "cheese platter" that a cheese lover would savor. Chewy mushroom calamari with a magical aioli, fried artichoke with the lightest coating, pizza from fig, to sausage to wild mudhrooms with a soft chewy crust and deceivingly realistic cheese; pastas from a delicious eggless porkless spagetti carbonara, "squid ink" ravioli that was a stunningly luscious mystery to me. These were the highlights of a memorable dining experience in a charming place.“
“Lunch at abcV is surprisingly good as we didn't expect the plant based food menu. I just wanted to grab some lunch with my wife. It was like stumbling into a secret society where the members wield spatulas instead of swords and are on a valiant quest to elevate plant-based eating from mere sustenance to an art form. They don't just serve food; they serve enlightenment on a platter, with a side of cosmic wisdom and a sprinkle of culinary wizardry. Imagine if a Zen garden and a high-end spa had a love child, and that love child decided to open a restaurant with high vibration foods, balance and beauty, wellness, wisdom, and love? So much love, I feel the urge to hug my waiter (consensually, of course) but my wife said no. It's all designed to nurture not just our personal ecosystems but the planetary one as well. Eating here, I can't help but feel like I'm saving the world, one bite at a time. And the food--it's like each dish has been kissed by Mother Nature herself, then sent to culinary school. Who knew vegetables could be this indulgent? I half-expected the broccoli to levitate off my plate, such was the level of enlightenment it apparently possessed. My wife and I shared a dish that I'm convinced had achieved nirvana, and for a moment, I saw the universe in a grain of quinoa. abcV is an experience that transcends the mere act of eating. It's a culinary journey that promises not just a meal but a shift in consciousness. I left with a newfound appreciation for the humble vegetable. And perhaps, just perhaps, a yearning to nurture my own personal and planetary ecosystem--with a bit more wisdom, love, and a dash of deliciousness.“
“A Plant-Based ParadiseWillow Vegan Bistro is a dream come true for vegans seeking delicious, familiar comfort food. Their menu expertly transforms classic American dishes into exciting plant-based creations. Expect high-quality ingredients, innovative flavors, and a welcoming atmosphere – a must-try for any vegan in NYC.“
“Before I even lived in the neighborhood Jajaja was easily one of my favorite restaurants in NYC. I have brought so many friends here because it is perfect from anywhere to a date night to a chill lunch/dinner to catch up with friends. Their cocktails are amazing especially their version of an espresso martini. All of the staff is so friendly and always make sure you're taken care of at all times. On top of everything and most importantly the food is AMAZING. Although I am not vegan anymore, I still can call this my favorite restaurant because they do everything on their menu so well and it's rare in my experience where vegan food is indistinguishable from non-plant based food and my favorite is the enchiladas mole. Highly recommend!“
“Should not have so much onions in the food. My lunch box comes with 2 pan cakes of suck. I hated them. It's just flour with lots of onions. Most Buddhists don't eat onions and scallions. Salad was fresh. Ambiance good. Quiet with no music.“
“This is a very lively Mediterranean brasserie. Completely vegan menu and unique culinary experience.I like that the menu is short and focuses on details of every dish. The vibrant flavors in every item are sourced from local and fresh ingredients. The texture and taste to the dishes resemble to the meat. They are moderately expensive which would roughly cost around 50-70$ per person. The service was quick even though it was a busy afternoon.I liked the ambiance and vibe of this place. We were served by Venesa, she was very sweet and friendly.“
“Second time here, both for lunch, and both delicious!Had the meatballs over rice with salad and a mint limeade. I asked the server for drink recs and he let me taste all of his faves.Need to come back for the dukka fries because they look amaaaazing. They also still have outdoor seating - Happy to have!Vegetarian options: Lots of flavorful vegetarian options and sauces!“
“This is a very cute, quaint, comfy lil place. The food was amazing, the service was awesome, and the atmosphere was wonderful! I didn't take pics, but the presentation was really good as well.Vegetarian options: Everything! And it's soooo good!“
“It's been a minute since my visit but it's recall a nice atmosphere, great service and tasty food. It was pretty hot inside (winter, heat) and we were seated at a community like table but with friendly folks who gave their vegan dining advice for the area!“
“Great food from a vegan business run by vegans. The "chicken legs" are amazing and my daughter said the mac n cheese was the best she has ever tasted. Super friendly and enthusiastic staff. Whilst primarily a take-out there is a small seating area for those wanting to eat in. Highly recommended.“
“Honestly the food is AMAZING! AMAZING !!!!! BUT ...... The environment is not the best. It's tight, too serious, the food isn't the fastest and it is pricey. but I will say the food is worth it. I would just love the ambiance to change. Then it would be perfect. Absolutely perfect!“
“I was so tired so I grabbed the first thing I saw that looked familiar instead of reading the menu or checking out comments. It was beyond burger, which was delicious. After I ordered I saw crab cakes that looked yum, I wish I tried those too. They also had a bunch of desserts that looked good, but I can't eat that much at once. So if I'm ever back in New York I'm definitely coming there again. Service is really good, nice people working there, order ready fast! I definitely recommend this place.“
“I have been coming to this establishment since it was legit a box on the block. If you walked too fast you'd miss it...and I'm so excited and impressed on how they've transformed to become such edgy, dateworthy and "Instagrammable" sit down dining restaurant.Prices & Food: very reasonable, includes lunch time specials that won't dent the pockets. I haven't had all of the dishes on the menu but the ones that I have had I enjoyed. I ❤️ the fact that they stay true to their roots regarding heat levels. They don't dummy it down for us NYers..you came there remember! On the flip..they should stay true to their roots and not serve fried chicken wings the way we do up here. That was a miss ?Cleanliness: ? they nailed it! The bathroom decor is something I'd be inspired to copy and VERY clean, smells good, etc. I hold a sanitation certificate so EVERYWHERE I go I'm looking in corners, looking at the ceiling, under the tables..I need to know my area is clean to enjoy my food! 5stars!Service: No complaints. Each server has been attentive and patient; never really hovering to rush me and my party out so much appreciated ?I would very much recommend coming here. Nice for a solo date or bring a party. The place is inviting and seats about 40 people in total I believe. Warm months brings outside dining, never done it, but it looks ?Wheelchair accessibility: Establishment provides outdoor dining and has a ramp! Thoughtful!“
“Really beautiful space with lovely food and great service. I was expecting a bit more from the food tbh for the price (not sure what though because I have no real complaint but it wasn't spectacular other than the mixed fritter appetizer which was the best tempura I've ever had). All in all 4.5 stars.“
“Staff knows me on a first name basis and that good work speaks for itself. Thank you.Vegetarian options: it's all what there what you need.Dietary restrictions: it's listedParking: parking on 25th street nyc between Broadway and 6th Avenue.Kid-friendliness: Very polite and courtesy counts.Wheelchair accessibility: there's a ramp.“
“I have never tasted Chinese cuisine as delicious as this before. The intricate blend of flavors, the perfect balance of spices, and the presentation of the dish are simply phenomenal. It's an experience that is both satisfying to the palate and visually appealing. Truly the best Chinese cuisine I have ever had the pleasure of trying!“
“Had an incredible dining experience at Spicy Moon in Bowery! Every dish was a hit, especially the rice noodles which were perfectly cooked, and the chili oil dumplings that had just the right amount of kick. The shiitake and tofu buns were delightful — soft, fluffy, and generously filled. The flavors were authentic, and the presentation was beautiful, making each dish not only delicious but also visually appealing. The atmosphere was cozy, with a friendly staff that made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone craving top-notch vegetarian Szechuan cuisine!Shout out to Joanne and her team.“
“Sushi was truly outstanding, really scratches that itch! Spicy tuna and orange "roe" were both stand outs. Dumplings also nicely seasoned and presented. This restaurant overall is really cute! Nice layout, great service, very fast for the weekday lunch timeframe.“
“My sister and I went to Urban Vegan Kitchen for the first time this week. We both absolutely loved it. The food, the service, the vibe…all great. I had the “chicken” and waffles and my sister had an empanada and chips, salsa and guacamole. All delicious. Can’t wait to go back and try everything on the menu.“
“Food is great specially the Spicy Tofu bun and Kung Pao Style Tofu. Service is fantastic, very attentive, kind and got served pretty fast after ordering. Tables and chairs are quite small not comfortable for me. Would reccommed for the food and the service. Prices are decent too for the taste and quantity.“
“Phenomenal vegan fare but its so much more than that.Vlad is an excellent host who really focuses on a fostering a real sense of community, encouraging evenings that focus on muscicians, writers, activists or just hanging out and having a good time!“
“The food here is delicious! So much so that it was all I could think about hours after leaving the restaurant (no joke)! One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a while. Staff members are very kind and attentive. I recommend the tomato soup and the bulgogi tacos!“
“My wife and I are happy to have a Spanish vegan spot to order from in the Heights again! We ordered two Chimi's, a plantain power sandwich, Mac n Cheese, and Mac n Cheese empanadas with "beef". For the whole experience, we give it a 9.5 out of 10. The only gripe we really had was the Mac n Cheese empanada--she wasn't overly fond of it, I thought it was ok. We will be ordering/dining in again!“
“This is an amazing place with a menu that helps people to understand the nutrients they are receiving! The options and variety is excellent and it accommodates for people with all sort of dietary restrictions. It’s definitely great food for our gut!“
“The service was a little slow but we had the whole restaurant to ourselves so no complaints - it was basically a quiet little oasis in the middle of this noisy city. Half of the menu is similar to the one at May Kaidee if you're familiar with that place, the other half is more "fruitarian" although I don't think they define fruitarian as a diet purely based on fruit. The influence is Thai-Indian. Nothing was overly oily or salty which is just what I hope for when I eat out. Portions could be slightly bigger. I'll be back to try more things!“
“Loved the impossible vegetarian burgers! They’re so warm and dense - very much a filling lunch! We also enjoyed the crispy fries but wish the portion size was larger. Service was also wonderful. The restaurant has 3 indoor tables (fitting 6), and outside tables for sitting & standing. Best to do pickup and walk to the park.“
“Came here with a vegan friend who is from way out of town. She really wanted to eat here and they were really nice to take us at the bar without a reservation. Service was good. Food was tasty. Liked the oyster mushroom chicken and waffles. Perhaps the best is the ambiance tho. Pink, fun and beautiful!“
“The food here was SO GOOD! I am completely dairy free but I went with my boyfriend who eats diary. He and I both were extremely impressed with the food. The dairy substitutes were spot on. All the flavors overall were just well rounded and so good. We got 2 apps, 2 entrees, and 1 desert. We left extremely happily full. Additionally, the server was fantastic! He was so helpful in picking out drinks as well as giving any taste recommendations on the food. The ambiance is very pretty and was excellent for a date but i would go with a friend as well.“
“Delicious Thai food. Classic dishes. Vegan. Lovely Ms May Kaidee cooks your food!! She is a cookbook author, chef, dancer, noted restaurateur in Thailand. Interior is decorated with Thai symbols. Great food. I had noodles and vegetables with an amazing sauce. Mango desert with coconut sauce and yummy rice, fantastic!!! Joe might be your waiter and is kind and professional. Such a wonderful place!!!“
“I really like a po-boy sandwich, but every time I eat one my brain goes, "these are arthropods, these are bugs." The Craw Pretzel Boy has convinced me I never need to eat an arthropod again. It was really good, not even just "for a vegan version."Same with the mac and cheese. Also, when you go in here there's a case of vegan cupcakes, and they look really good, and I can tell you from experience now that they are really good.“
“Easily one of my favorite al vegan spots in Manhattan (and there are plenty to chose from). Went for brunch with non-vegan friends and family and EVERYONE loved it - clean plate club all around. Highlight for me was easily the corn ribs. Don't pass on the churros either. Family loved the nachos. Great atmosphere too, vibey without the music blasting so you can actually have a nice conversation. Definitely one of my favorite spots to date.“
“Imo the best vegetarian restaurant in the city. Great for celebrations like birthdays and getting together with a large group of friends - lighting / artwork has a cool vibe and they have a great cocktail selection. Personal favorites from the menu include scallion pancake, mapo tofu, dan dan noodle, and the general tso mushroom. Service can be a little slow during peak hours since it's so popular but the staff are very friendly. Highly recommend!“
“A vegan friend invited me here for the first time, and I’ll continue to come here for lunch! The food is fresh and innovative, and feels like comfort food. Walk up to the counter, most of the options are dished up while you’re placing your order, some they grab from the kitchen. It’s quick and delicious. Staff is friendly. It’s also reasonably priced for such high quality food.“
“Had seen this pop up on instagram and looked absolutely amazing, so made a reservation here for my first night in NYC. I am always up to try a 100% gluten free restaurant, especially when it is entirely plant-based since I am dairy free as well! It’s a rare occasion where I can order anything on the menu and the experience did not disappoint. The staff was extremely friendly and despite being very busy, I never felt as if I was kept waiting. I opted for the nachos since I couldn’t remember the last time I was able to order nachos at a restaurant. What arrived was something resembling a work of art–a tower of nachos stacked layer by layer with toppings–guacamole, vegan chorizo - so good!, vegan queso, vegan sour cream, beans, salsa, jalapenos. The portion was way too big just for one person so it’s all that I ordered that evening, even though I had been eyeing the empanadas (which I ended up ordering for lunch a few days later bc I couldn’t get them out of my mind). I’d say they were just okay, but I’m glad I tried them. The nachos definitely take the cake and I would order them again without a doubt. Highly recommend Bar Verde for its friendly service and delicious food!“
“Delicious meal! I’m not vegan but thoroughly enjoyed my meal and excited to try other menu items. Got the chickpea fries, spicy wonton special, and seitan medallion panini. Would recommend all of the above in a heartbeat. Great flavors and textures. Staff were very friendly as well and the space is relaxed and welcoming.“
“This place is as good as it gets when it comes to whole food plant-based fare! It has an attractive decor, a friendly staff who you order from at the counter, and really good food. I’ve tried the UWS and UES locations and both are consistently very good. Unlike most vegan restaurants, that offer a wide variety of highly processed fake meat, Le Botaniste is all about whole foods – vegetables, grains, beans, with various dishes to suit of a variety of tastes. And everything is freshly made and ready to go, so there’s no waiting.“
“The cookie was in between crunchy and too soft(still slight crunch/softness). Delicious (didn't seem too sweet) and enjoyed eating the orange on top. It had a sort of dough texture(which is the middle circle) and is visible when bitten..“
“Sensational!! For folks craving bao buns but not the meat -- this vegan shop that just opened up in Chinatown NYC is the place to be. Don't let the size scare you away. The place is spotless and the food is prepared to order. I found them by accident, but will be returning intentionally in the very near future. #Vegan #Vegetarian #HealthyFood #FreshFood“
“Stopping in for super late Brunch on Easter, brunch ends at 4 and I slipped in at 3:50 ?. The server that started me off was so nice to get something in for me right under the wire. The Florentine Tofu was super yummy. A steamed cider to drink as a nice treat and finished with the cheesecake of the day. The mixed berry cheesecake was surprising as I thought the berries would be an add on but to see a line of berries along the slice was amazing ?.Will visit again when in the city and come for dinner as well as brunch.“
“Best meal I’ve had in recent memory. Literally magical. Get the Brie. Get the coq au vin. Get the crème brûlée… get everything!! I had a few mediocre vegan meals during this trip to the city, but NOT at Delice & Sarrasin. It was truly a delight.“
“This was hands down one of my best dining experiences in recent memory. My friend and I came here to celebrate our recent birthdays. We had no idea that it was a vegan restaurant, but it didn't matter because the food was beyond amazing; the atmosphere and decor were great (LOVE those little minimalist Italian-designed lamps on the tables); and the service was the best I've experienced in years! Full disclosure: I'm a bit of a carnivore, but their udon shitake special is nothing short of heavenly. My friend had the raw sampler platter and also enjoyed it immensely (we should have taken photos). We enjoyed freshly-made sangria with our meal, courtesy of our server, Enrique. He was a revelation, with such a great sense of humor that we were laughing like old friends, plus he told us there's live music later in the evening. They're definitely getting a return visit!!“
“My sister and I stopped in Jajaja Mexicana for lunch. The restaurant is inside Whole Foods, and is in the far back of the dining area. We each had the turmeric cauliflower bowl which was absolutely delicious. We also shared chips and salsa and were able to try the hot sauces The charcoal hot sauce is a must try! I highly recommend checking out Jajaja!“
“Coming to this juice press actually makes my day every day. Gregory (who I believe is the manager) is the kindest man and provides such great service. I love juice press for its great selection of healthy food, but even more so for the hospitality coming from Gregory and the staff at this location. They are always smiling, helpful, and pleasant. I never want to get lunch anywhere else! I have sampled some off the menu flavors (chocolate mousse, peanut butter and jelly that are SO GOOD I hope they become actual menu items). It just really makes a difference grabbing lunch a few times a week and knowing you will come in to a warm welcome and positive atmosphere rather than other places where you are barely even greeted and trying to get you in and out as quick as possible. Love the staff, love the service, love the food!Dietary restrictions: Only place I have ever found that has organic, no added sugar, gluten free, and dairy free options. Very very good selection for strict, clean diets.“
“As soon as I heard about this place I knew I had to try it. The concept is incredibly simple- I'm not entirely clear on how they are using AI and robotics to make everything happen- but you place an order online, you get a notification when it will be ready, and then the notification directs you to a little cubby/locker where you pick your food up. This place has limited hours and is geared towards to go orders (there's a bar to stand and eat at, but no seating, no restroom either) and is also clearly for the office lunch crowd. It's great vegan food though for those who want something to bring back with them or just for a quick bite. I had the crispy chicken burger and it was excellent, definitely some of the best vegan fast food I have had in a long time. I wish the burger was customizable (I don't like pickles for example) but things you don't like are easy enough to remove. I also wish the menu had a description of what was in each meal although most of it is pretty basic and self explanatory. There was someone there who was present for ordering issues, explaining what's in the different options, and just to make sure everything was going as it should. Despite a few things that could be tweaked overall I think this place is a great concept and I hope it lasts and they can open more.“
“We went here twice during our visit to NYC. Once we chose a salad from the menu. Unfortunately, we missed the fact that one ingredient was “spicy”. The second time we put together our salad ourselves. They have a very large selection and very tasty dressings. The employees were always very friendly!“
“If you've been around NYC and vegetarian, you have almost definitely heard of Dirt Candy. It's the epitome of vegetarian fine dining in NYC.I will preface my review by stating that I have not grown up in the fine dining realm; there is probably some level of "appreciation" that I lack. That being said, the food here is great. Presentation, creativity, flavor experience are all on point. However, I couldn't justify the price for the food. I think if you are very curious and want to knock it off your bucket list OR you are someone into fine dining then this is perfect. Otherwise, there are restaurants that I think you get much better bang for your buck for in NYC.“
