“there’s limited seating but that’s because of the small space, it’s cozy. i got the 6$ hibiscus drink and it was alright at best, doesn’t taste like genuine hibiscus. the girl at the counter did explain that they have a premade syrup base so i didn’t expect much. the service was good the girl was friendly and explained the drink before i ordered so i knew what to expect. service 5 atmosphere 4 drink 2 (i have had their coffee before and i prefer the coffee over the teas) overall good and i’ll be back.“
“Swung by mid afternoon on 3/18 for a quick pick me up while biking to work. The barista was an absolute sweetie and made my iced latte to perfection! Those rum infused beans really are something, especially in the Coquito (personal favorite)Plus, this space is big enough to work in which is great in itself. Definitely will be stopping by again soon!“
“Lobster saffron risotto was yummy. Hubby’s red shrimp spaghetti was apparently rather salty for his liking but this is NY. We find NYC’s food quite salty compared to our food back home.Concierge was very kind to offer us a glass of bubbly. We were severely jet lagged and needed somewhere to quickly grab our supper. So we went to this place as it was near from our hotel. It is not the cheapest restaurant in NYC but food quality (lobster was cooked perfectly), service by Genara and Concierge made our dining experience so memorable. The only downside was the restaurant has two dining areas and we were seated in the most inner part. It was highly rowdy..! I wanted a quieter/ more intimate ambience as the restaurant oozes out this romantic atmosphere. Maybe next time? Will def return.“
“When I travel, I try to find local places to eat. Basically, if it's a chain I can go to in my suburban Southern California town, I stay away. Seeing that the line was nearly out the door, I tried Broad Nosh Bagels. And I came back every morning of my trip. And I bought 4 bagels and a loaf of chocolate babka to bring home. First morning home, I've made French toast with the babka, and I never want to make it any other way with any other bread. I don't claim to be a bagel snob, but I know what is good, and these are DELICIOUS. Met the owner one morning, and he was so friendly and welcoming. I cannot wait to come back to my favorite city and have more of these bagels.“
“I don't live in NY, but when I'm there, I love to go to 787 because it makes me feel welcome. I usually have my coffee with nothing special, but my friend said that she had never had such a delicious cappuccino! Their cookies are the best as well, and Alejandra was very nice to us. Highly recommend!!“
“You know you’ve found a great place to eat when no one minds waiting to be seated. Definitely worth the wait! You can tell everyone is happy to work there, great team work, great customer service, never felt rushed. THE best chai latte I’ve ever had. The Holy Shishito sets the bar high for how brunch should taste, the best eggs. Went with my dad and he was very happy with his beverages and food and said, “it will be hard to top brunch this morning”.“
“Mussette in Harlem is a wine bar that truly understands the art of hospitality. From the moment I stepped in, the customer service was stellar—attentive without being overbearing. The Women’s History wine flight they offer is not just unique but also a testament to their commitment to inclusivity and celebration of diversity in the wine world. And let's talk about their charcuterie boards—absolutely sublime! The selection of cheeses, dried fruit and nuts paired perfectly with the wines we chose. But what truly sets Mussette apart is the warmth and genuine passion of the staff. They made our evening unforgettable, offering insights and recommendations that enhanced our experience. If you're in Harlem and looking for a cozy spot with exceptional wine and hospitality, Mussette is the place to be.“
“I went here multiple times a week (2021-23 before rent pushed me out of nyc). I studied while my Velcro dog played or found a temp other Velcro human who missed their childhood dog. Coppy was just about always there and knew ALL the dogs. Zoë loved their treats and loved their human food (she’s spoiled) as much as I did/do. This place is one of a kind. If I had more money, I’d pour it in to B&H!Support this place! It’s just a necessary, good- hearted, happy cafe that this city needs. So basically, 10/10 recommend lol“
“I always visit the Marinara pizza store before coming here, and stop by to try their different pastries. I've previously tasted their Marble Loaf Cake, which was awesome, and today I had their Chocolate Cake, which was delicious. I've never had a bad experience with their cakes. The staff is really nice, and the cakes are spectacular. I highly recommend this place.“

“Creativity, warmth, and culture vibrates through the 787 café. As a Puerto Rican, I feel right at home in this space. The baristas were kind, attentive and welcoming. They also shared the origins of the coffee, which provided a nice touch to the experience. A special shout-out to Lesly who served me and was a pleasure to talk to. Highly recommend the horchata late.“
“Great food, great ambiance, great service. Had the sourdough Croque Monsieur and it was fantastic. The iced chocolate was done very well, as was the coffee. The chocolate chip cookie was a tad too sweet for my liking, but had the right texture/crunch/moist to it. My new favourite bakery in the area.“
“One of my favorite Greenwich Village Brunch Spots! It’s cute, cozy and delicious food at a reasonable price! It's typically packed, so ensure your group arrives together or you might not find a seat unless everyone arrives! They have outdoor and indoor seating perfect for spring and summer! As far as I recall they don’t take reservations so you have to walk in!“
“The noodle is very good. Love the combo which comes with Wonton noodle soup, Portuguese Tart, and a a lemon iced tea. There is not much service. It is like a canteen hall. You buy and bring your food to a seating area. They keep the service fast, and the place clean.Overall, a wonderful place to have a quick warm hearty meal!“
“Goodies run out very quickly but most of them are still available by the end of the day.If it’s your first time here, go with Vick, Corn and Lysee. I would highly recommend getting Mille Feuille which is good for 2 and it’s out of this world. I get myself lysee madeleine and a signature brown rice to wrap up the day on the best note.A little pricey, but the quality has been very consistent. Good for once a month or two visit.“
“4.4 stars. Reasonably priced boxed take to take home stuffed buns. The bun is very light and fluffy. The red roast pork filling was a good amount and the taste was pretty good. We liked the smaller, slightly sweet, baked, 8-to-a-box, red roast pork buns better because of the higher meat to bun ratio. I tried the salted egg custard bun for the first time and it was pretty good. Comparable to Go Believe Bakery on Grand, which always has a consistent amount of meat but less airy bun.“
“I love this cafe so much. I almost want to gatekeep it. It’s my favorite to go to and go bring others. Coffee is delicious and their desserts and croissant sandwiches are super tasty. Honestly everything I’ve tried here tasted great. The service is also really nice, the team is always friendly. Great place for customers to also get some work done if you need WiFi. 10/10 my favorite local coffee shop by far. I love sitting in the small outside area on a sunny day.“
“Energetic cute little coffee shop with boozy coffee options, which I couldn’t try but heard are popular. The barista is very friendly and informative. The place is clean and decorated. I only wish the music was a little less loud but otherwise a great experience.“
“I stumbled upon this small donut shop near my hotel. The man at the front was very friendly & cheerful.- Raspberry jam donut: the donut was soft & fluffy. There was lots of raspberry jam filling and my kid loved it.- Cannoli cream donut: the donut was soft but it was too much filling for my taste. The cream itself was creamy & good and wasn't too sweet.“
“This cute little coffee shop in the Upper East Side has been my go-to spot since I’ve started working in the area. It’s hard to find good horchata anywhere and 787 has not only gotten it right, they added coffee to it and made it taste great. I’m always looking forward to my next coffee run.“
“Visited this spot based on a friend’s recommendation. The lines are unnecessarily long and can be easily fixed if they added 2-3 staffers.Their ice cream is delicious. I wish I was able to try an actual flavor but they ran out as soon as we approached the register.“
“Ordered a dirty chai latte which was superb! Glad to hear they make their own chai concentrate instead of relying on pre-made powder/concentrates which meant this wasn't overly sweet. Friendly staff and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Sad that my drink didn't have any latte art but just another reason to come back and try the other specialty drinks (I heard the marshmallow capp is one of the most popular drinks!!) :)“
“Amazing Fresh Onigari (rice balls) & delicious teas! (Cold, Hot, Bubble, No-Bubble) Support a local Mom & Pop shop & get fresh tasty food & drinks — win win win!!! (The line outside moves, one customer/group inside at a time due to COVID, & everything is made fresh to order — your patience will be rewarded!)“
“Wonderful place! The coffee was perfect and the empanadas were so tasty. A must stop for me for NY mornings.Special shout out for the guy who helped. He was very knowledgeable about their coffee and was helpful exploring the different drink options.“
“Wow, GREAT place to go if you like Coffee/Tea & donuts, but SO MUCH MORE that's great for spring & summer incl fantastic soft serve ice cream: They've got their own unique TOP Quality donuts that were somewhere between a beignet and a zeppole (I'm told that it's a Mochi donut) and the mouth-feel is like they are a fried donut with a lovely texture and fantastic chew! They have both a regular shaped donut and a kind of Flower shape that breaks into individual balled pieces of donut, so THAT worked well sitting on top of a soft serve ice cream cup and them injecting whichever flavor of soft serve you choose through the center and into the cup - Great combo that's very easily broken off into pieces to have bites with the soft serve which today was either Milk Cream or Thai Tea today along with the flavor varities of donuts - Glazed Donut – Classic, Coffee Toffee, Poppy Grapefruit, Toasted Coconut Bear Donut (Regular) – Chocolate, Cheddar, Lavender, Sugar Cream Puff Donut – Dirty Choco, Double Milk Tea, Matcha Custard, Strawberry I didn't see the limited edition peanut butter and jelly but I can tell you I was definitely satisfied!“
“I have now been here twice and both times were exceptional! We ordered the salmon, toast, green shakshuka and chorizo bowl. The portions were perfect, definitely enough for a hearty breakfast. They also have a cocktail menu. That looks great, lots of unique options! The servers were all kind and attentive. We went on a weekday, so it was not overly busy, but I have been on a weekend and there was a little bit of a wait. On the interior, they do do some communal seating at a large table in the center of the restaurant. There are also private tables and booths inside and outside on the patio. The interior is adorable and it’s such a vibe inside. I would say the only downside about this place is there is only one restroom for the entire restaurant, and there tends to be a line.“
“Excellent cortado - got them 3 days in a row. Nice that they have good ceramic cups for people drinking the coffee on-site, rather than only disposable cups. Friendly and skilled baristas.Limited amount of food - 2-3 pastry options + house-made empanadas. Chicken Empanadas were pretty good, but not amazing.“
“I tried the Wintermelon Milk w/ Boba and the Peach Yakult w/ Lychee Jelly (as provided on the Staff Reccs Menu) and they were both amazing— Personally like the Wintermelon one more because I wanted something with milk but both were great. The staff were exceptional and overheard that my girlfiend and I had never really tried Wintermelon before, and they jumped to give us a sample of the tea. First off, amazing to see that there were no added sugars and that all the components of their drinks were individually perfected. We ended up ordering and got our drinks pretty quickly, but while we waited one of the staff members offered us a sample of their pudding topping. It was great to try and extremely kind of the staff to offer, especially because there was no incentive for them to do so as we had already ordered. You can tell that the staff really care about making a great business. They haven’t been open for too long, and I hope they receive lots of support so I can go back and try more of the drinks they have to offer. In terms of seating, they don’t offer any, but you can easily walk around the area and find some or walk while drinking. You can also get a stamp card to get a discount on your tenth return!TLDR: Amazing drinks, not too sweet, very refreshing. A great pick me up. Relatively not the cheapest but it’s some of the best you’re getting, especially in Manhattan. Definitely something to try. Staff are amazing and will let you try samples.Kid-friendliness: Amazing Environment“
“All the desert is so so delicious, massive serving sizes and absolutely amazing prices. The service was amazing & deserts were served extremely fast disregarding the rush hour. The atmosphere was annoying with music constantly blasting and the door always open bringing in constant breeze. Otherwise I recommend anyone to come here and try it at-least once!“
“It looks plain, but tastes great! The store is about a 3-minute walk from Canal Street, and there is also an Eaton space inside the store. Most of the customers are Asian (probably Chinese). This time, I purchased plain flavor, black sesame flavor, and red bean flavor. The price is $1 for plain and $1.25 for others. All three types were delicious. It's fluffy like a chiffon cake, not too sweet but still sweet, and soft yet chewy. It's not a gorgeous dessert, but it's an unforgettable dessert.Personally, if I were to buy donuts from another store, I would buy these. There are other flavors I haven't tried yet, so I'll definitely be going back!My favorite shops have increased again.“
“We found you on our trip to Brooklyn in March and we are still dreaming about the amazing turmeric oatmeal breakfast - so great that we walked over the Brooklyn Bridge the following day for another portion! Great service, great staff, we will be back and we will be telling all our friends to come too!“
“AMAZING! AMAZING! AMAZING! The food was absolutely amazing. The flavors, customer service, presentation and overall feel of this place left such a great impact on my friends and I. I literally tried it on Wednesday, and came back with a friend the very next day. My order: Afro Burrito with Chicken; Peanut Stew served over jasmine rice and hot sauce“
“Wow this is the best tofu banh mi I’ve ever had! I wasn’t sure how the pesto would be but it worked great, and the oyster mushrooms were sautéd so perfectly. They also had a great hot sauce I got to spice up the banh mi. Will definitely come back!!“
“It's a beautiful place, the only thing that was bothersome for me is the hot chocolate, which is very sweet, but that greatly depends on taste and might not be as bothersome or sweet to many. However, I do recommend trying it once. The pastry and cakes also taste good.“
“I loved everything about this adorable place! Cozy, quiet, and the food was delicious! The winter arugula salad was fresh and I loved the dressing, the grilled octopus was the best I’ve ever had- melts in your mouth and crispy on the outside. Pizzas were fabulous.“
“This is a tiny little totally unassuming deli located off the beaten path on W 107th & Manhattan Ave that for some reason makes unanticipatedly excellent croissants.I grew up in Paris where you can find an excellent croissant for 0.90€ on every street corner. So when they try to sell me croissant for $5/ $6/ $7 here in New York, well, I tell them that’s an absurd price and I turn around and I walk out.Hakan sells these excellently executed croissants for $2.50/ each. Everything was as it properly should be: not dry or bread-like as is often the case here in the US; nice and properly buttery as it’s supposed to be; flaky on outside and doughy on inside as it’s supposed to be. An excellent croissant. Excited to try the other pastries! Hakan and his employee were great - super friendly and affable and offered me great service ?“
“787 is a Puerto Rican cafe with multiple locations around the city. I've been to a couple now, and I love this place! This location in Soho is quite small - there's only one bench with a couple of small tables. They have so many unique drinks here, and they have different alcohol-infused coffee beans too. If you like their beans, they do sell bags of them, but just a warning that they are quite expensive. My boyfriend got the coquito latte, and I got the chocolate chip cookie. The latte was really good! It was sweet, but not too sweet, and the coffee flavor wasn't overpowering even though it comes with a double shot. I didn't know that it would come in a cute pouch, so that was a nice surprise! It seems like the iced drinks come in the pouch, and the hot drinks come in normal cups. I didn't have high expectations for the cookie, but this has actually become one of my favorite chocolate chip cookies in the city. It's a very thick cookie, and it has huge chunks of chocolate in it, which I love. We did have to wait a while for the coffee since there was a line, and there was only one person working there. But I appreciate how this place stands out from all the other coffee shops in the city, and it is now one of my go-to cafes!“
“A wonderful little spot! The owner is friendly and charming, she remembered me from one previous visit a while back. (Believe me when I say I’m not overly memorable) The breakfast sandwich is the best I’ve had. This will be my regular spot when I’m in the neighborhood!Dietary restrictions: They use canola oil and butter in the kitchen so if you have an issue with soy (as I do) you won’t have to worry! The owner was very conscientious about food allergies.“
“cozy little creperie! you might miss it if you're not looking. The lady making my crepes was so sweet and kind. The crepe was delicious - i had the mushroom crepe and a mascarpone jam crepe. They were both amazing! Love this little neighborhood gem.“
“Great service and good food. Initially I was told I could only order food to go because someone was having a private party and they were prepping but then the man behind the counter walked me through the menu. He then suggested I have a seat and could eat in if I wanted. I chose to dine in and the food was fabulous. I got the bacon egg and cheese biscuit. They did not have the cheddar jalapeño biscuit I asked for but they added extra cheese to my sandwich to compensate. The biscuit was crunchy in the outside and soft on the inside. I'll definitely be coming back to try the chicken biscuit and all the different compound butters.“
“I booked a catering order with Mickey at Omelettos for my crew, and we appreciated his accommodation, generosity and delicious burritos so much that we booked him again two days later! Truly a perfect place for both individuals and large groups. Thank you Mickey!!“
“Visited here on a Friday night around 7 and luckily it wasn't super crazy. We managed to get a table for 5! We ordered 2 pots of Yemeni tea, one with milk, one without, and one pot of peppermint tea. The staff were so lovely - they allowed us to try the Yemeni tea before ordering to ensure we would be happy with our order! In addition, we ordered some of their specialities, the sabaya, khaliat alnahl, the pistachio tart, the talia (a pistachio cheesecake type of bite) and the basboussa. Everything was perfectly sweet without going overboard and the tea brought me back to Turkey!! So glad we got here before the iftar mad rush at 8 pm! I will definitely be back!“
“Stopped by and got the cold brew with cherry syrup. Omg game changer. Literally no one is offering cherry syrup and I believe Patent’s housemade. The cold brew was so divine with it. Jonathan was my barista and was warm and inviting. Always loved coming here in the past. I’m happy I rediscovered it again.“
“I don’t usually post reviews, but I stopped by this place on my way to getting a train from Penn station and it was amazing!! The customer service is as impeccable and the owner could not do enough - he even kindly gave a little school kid a free cookie before heading to class. Small acts of kindness go a long way - I will most definitely come back here it was delicious“
“I was craving caffeine e and decided to stop here for a latte and I'm glad I did! It is a very cute little coffee place with a lot of natural sunlight if you wanted to sit down for a while. The latte was very good and I'd happily go back. There is also a cute little cookie place down the street if you want a treat after.“
“This place is so cute. I'm so glad we stopped by, the food was delicious. The thing that stuck out the most was how SWEET the cashier was. A food delivery guy walked in and didn't speak English or French, the cashier finally found out what language he spoke and told him "Welcome to America brother!". He had a smile on his face, even though I wasn't sure what to get and was figuring it out while I ordered ? cute little interior, fits about 6 people but the food is the BEST!“
“Every hit chocolate is delicious. Using real chocolate not powders. Decadent and delicious. The gouttes de chocolate and molten lava cake are both also phenomenal. Hard to imagine anything isn’t delicious. The cutest and quaintest little spot to stop for a snack and probably buy chocolate on your way out! is phenomenal too. Johnny (aka the troublemaker) was the SWEETEST server. Made my grandma feel special on her birthday when we just stopped in for a little treat. He also gave us samples of other hot/iced chocolates with the house whipped cream.Everything 10/10 will definitely come back“
“My opinion is 9.1/10. Def lived up to hype. I had the yuzu, has a lemon flavor and I did enjoy it. If back in the area would try other flavors I heard the boba is what they are know for. Check out my in depth video reviews on any of the platforms below. TikTok: TheUrbanLegend4 Instagram: UrbanLegend4 Facebook: Panayoti Kokalis YouTube: Urban Legend“
“I’m a tea lover- hate coffee- and specifically look for iced tea. It’s incredibly hard to find a cafe that offers a good selection of iced teas that aren’t overly sweetened, so when I found Whistle & Fizz a year ago, I was immediately in love. They have unique drinks, a great space, good prices, and a wonderful staff. I introduced everyone in my office to W&F and at any giving day, at least one person in the office has a cup at their desk. Check them out!“
“We loved everything! And I wouldn’t say it if it wasn’t true. Vanilla egg cream, classic board, toasted bagels, breakfast martini, halva ice cream, latkes, some other kind of fish board ( ?can’t remember, but it was good)The servers and host were all very hospitable and quick, but we did not feel rushed from our table at all.“
