“Went to the brand new Houston location and things are a bit rocky with staffing and supplies but I want to brag on your employee CAMILLA ! We came from NC and after visiting Puerto Rico several times I was so excited for this experience! She was so patient with us! Answered all our questions with a very helpful and cheerful attitude even tho she was drowning in drink orders! With only one other helper, she never showed any frustration and provided excellent above and beyond customer service! The cashier with her was brand new and super sweet as well! Camilla even gave me a hug when we left! She made my whole morning! And gave us the absolute best breakfast recommendation as well! Thank u so much Camilla for your grace and kindness this morning. U had no idea that my Morning started out so crappy, and your sweet personality and loving spirit really turned my day around and the tres leches latte was AMAZING 🙌🏼🩷💯 yall go see them and be patient …..it’s worth the wait ❤️ side note… the whole place is decorated beautifully! Love the swings ✅“

“From the moment we walked in, we felt genuinely cared for. This was my first time visiting, and the experience completely exceeded my expectations. The food and drinks were absolutely amazing, but what truly stood out was the level of attention and thoughtfulness we received. Being noticed and having the spelling of my name acknowledged made me feel seen and valued as a guest.
Ariana deserves special recognition—she went above and beyond by customizing both coquito lattes to accommodate my sister’s and my health issues, *without sacrificing flavor at all*. They were hands-down some of the best drinks we’ve had. Her knowledge, care, and exceptional customer service made this experience unforgettable. If anyone deserves a promotion, it’s Ariana!
Will be coming back my next visit to the city“

“Okay nothing was wrong with the coffee it was a 10/10 iced horchata latte with oat milk and the coffee kicked!
But the cafe itself needs a bit of housecleaning. So many flies just hovering inside and the cafe needs some bg music and might help with overall liveliness of the decor.“
“The great concept of sustainability. Looking forward for our future.“

“Sote Coffee Roasters is a true haven for coffee lovers. As soon as you walk in, you’re met with the rich, comforting aroma of freshly roasted beans and a sleek, modern interior that still manages to feel warm and inviting. The minimalist design highlights what matters most the coffee and the staff’s passion for their craft is clear from the first pour to the last sip.
I ordered a pour-over and a cardamom bun, and both were phenomenal. The coffee was perfectly extracted, smooth, and full of nuanced flavor notes, while the pastry was subtly spiced and wonderfully fresh. It’s the kind of place where every detail from bean sourcing to music playlist feels curated with intention. If you're someone who appreciates slow coffee done right, Sote is absolutely worth the stop.“

“An unassuming neighborhood coffee shop that is actually sm more. They reallyyyyyy get it right with sourcing beans, making their own delicious syrups, providing cozy and friendly service. Also - this season they have a rainbow cookie latte? Incredible. I’m so glad to pass them on my daily commute.“

“It's fantastic to have a coffee shop where the owners take care to buy top quality, organic, fair trade beans which they roast themselves on-site. The staff are fabulous and really know what they're doing.“

“Solid State Coffee is my secret go-to after the American Museum of Natural History with kids. It can get crowded, but the line moves fast, which matters a lot when you’re operating on museum-level child energy.
What keeps me coming back is that both the coffee and the food are genuinely very good. This is not just a “parents in survival mode” stop. The menu has real range: solid savory options for adults, including lighter choices like avocado toast and a super grain bowl, plus easy kid fuel like tomato soup, grilled cheese, buns, and hot cocoa. Their syrniki are my personal favorite — baked farmer’s cheese patties served with strawberry jam and whipped labneh — and they manage to feel both comforting and protein-packed.
The café is on West 71st Street and is open daily from 7 AM to 4 PM, which makes it especially convenient for a breakfast, lunch, or post-museum reset. The company also roasts thoughtfully curated, ethically sourced coffee in small batches, which tracks with how carefully everything tastes.
A rare family stop that actually works for everyone: good coffee for adults, real food for kids, and no unnecessary chaos.“

“I thought Starbucks Reserves were just fancy Starbucks, but I was totally wrong. It's a completely different concept, with cocktails, espresso flights, and specialty food. It's amazing! There should be more of these in major cities. I'll definitely be back.“

“The best coffee I’ve ever had tbh. And I’ve become a bit of a coffee snob.
I usually get an oat cortado with oat milk.
Their treats are good as well.
WiFi is available with a receipt for up one or two hours.“

“The drinks and atmosphere are great but the service is so poor. The baristas are straight up mean to customers. Also you can’t get any drinks an hour before closing, just water. It’s such a bummer that the service sucks because the places itself is so relaxing and lovely to work in.“

“A small but might shop! My colleagues recommended Blackstone and I have been getting coffee here almost every morning! Not only is the coffee GOOD, but the staff are the NICEST, warmest people behind the counter. This attentive and welcoming vibe makes all the difference, unlike some coffee shops in the neighborhood. They know my order and preferences, the egg salad is delicious, the wraps are plentiful, and they're quick, too! Highly recommend!“

“Stepping into Stumptown feels like being welcomed into a space that values substance over showiness. It carries a sense of confident simplicity exposed brick walls, textured wood tables, and open counter space that draws your attention to the ritual of coffee.
The coffee itself is the real protagonist here full-bodied and nuanced, never bitter. Whether you go for a classic espresso or something poured over deliberately, every cup feels intentional yet approachable.
What really sticks is the energy: relaxed but purposeful. Conversations flow easily, rhythms are unhurried, and the staff exudes genuine warmth without overdoing it. It's the kind of place where even a solo moment reading, working, just being doesn’t feel lonely.
If you're after a café that respects your time and your taste, while creating a low-key space you can return to, Stumptown delivers with strong character and subtle charm.“

“Birch on 7th Ave and 14th street is my fave spot to get my afternoon skinny flat white during our class break at Pratt. The crew there is always great and I love the tip jar questions. Hang in there dear Birch! Looking forward to seeing you all again when we’re through this.“

“If i could give this place 6 stars I would. The coffee is wonderful, as are their non-coffee drinks (matcha, pandan lattes). There's wifi and clean toilets at this location.
The best part of this shop is by far the staff. They often give me free stamps on my stamp card, let me use my own takeout mug and (the rare time I've brought my dog) given treats to my dog.
I'm proud to call myself a regular! This place ROCKS.“

“One of my favorite coffee shops in the city! Drinks are amazing! I've gotten a different drink each time and have enjoyed each one! The staff is great, very kind, and you can tell that they really care about their customers! Also a good atmosphere to study or do work! I highly recommend this place!“

“Been here twice, the place is so cute and the coffee incredible! Had a decaf dirty chai my first go, then a lemonade. Both were fantastic!! If you prefer less sugar ask for it without & there’s a little area for you to add your own how you like (honey, vanilla syrup, granular sugar, & one other I don’t know). The staff were so sweet, it’s definitely a queer-friendly spot. If you work from home it’s great for remote work, though get here early (or wait a bit) for a seat. Or just ask to share a table!“

“I’m from Michigan & my husband found this coffee company online. We ordered it & it’s so smooth & delicious. So when I planned a trip to NY to see my favorite band perform twice over the weekend, I bet I made a trip to see them in person & stock up. Highly recommend Gotham Coffee if in town or to order online & ship to your home. Diner Coffee is perfect when you just need a great cup of Joe!“

“This Joe Coffee was tucked around near Track 11 / Greybar passage, so the best part avoids the big lines and rush in any other coffee shop. My large latte, 12 oz (which I'm glad the barista showed me for no surprises), was $6, which I'll usually make an exception for when time is precious and taste was good. Enjoy!“

“JOE Coffee has a really nice minimalist vibe — cozy, modern, and perfect for a slow coffee break in the middle of the city. The coffee was good, smooth, and well made, and the space itself felt calm compared to the busy streets outside.
Not the most mind-blowing coffee I’ve ever had, but definitely a solid café that’s enjoyable to visit. A good spot to sit, recharge, people-watch, or just escape NYC for a little while.“
“When you travel to NYC, particularly Manhattan, either on business or as a tourist, you don't think of eating healthy. However, there are now several Whole Foods in Manhattan. They offer what other Whole foods across the country offer, a wide variety of healthy (as well as not-so-healthy) foods. Since this grocery store is in NYC, they have thrown in a NYC touch: the check-out line for self-checkout is really complicated. You wait in a long line and look for the color code of the line in which you are standing......... it takes a while to get used to it, but it is no doubt intended to deal with the store's being packed during certain hours of the day. Prices are relatively high, but this is NYC so that is to be expected.“

“I had a situation where I ordered a drink and didn’t communicate properly because I was in a rush and ended up not liking it when I got to work. I went back to them and let them know about my drink mishap and they made me a new drink for free no questions asked. Exemplary customer service and a really nice staff. They are always willing to try a new drink with you if you don’t know what you want or don’t have something in mind. Thank you Joe’s for amazing service !! ❤️❤️“

Since it was my first time I had many questions and the who worked with me in getting my order young lady Lorraine who was very patient, she answered every question I had to make sure my coffee was perfect. Thank you Miss you g lady Lorraine for getting me the perfect cup of coffee tonight. I will be seeing you again. Your store is a walk across the park from my job.“

“I’d been waiting 10 years to visit this café; I’d dreamed about it for a very, very long time back home in Europe. Finally, I stopped by, ordered some cookies and coffee, sat back, and took in the atmosphere. It was great. It met all my expectations, and as a coffee lover, I really enjoyed myself there.“
“Place was pretty full, staff looked a bit overwhelmed, and I had to wait longer than usual for a cortado, but man was it good!!! As I saw the barista working, I noticed she was totally detail oriented and that came across her work. One of the best cortados I have ever had.“
“I get 2 cups of matcha every morning at Joe’s. The workers are always friendly and professional. The atmosphere and environment is relaxing and comfortable. After a few cups of Matcha from Joe’s coffee shop I switched from going to Starbucks.“
“Connor was so friendly and made delicious Banana Bread Lattes for my friends and I on our way to the spa. Despite a line and a busy atmosphere, he took our order with a smile and helped us get the right drink. I will definitely stop by every time i go to the island!“
“This Nespresso location is by far my most favorite. All the staff are so lovely and friendly. I love that they’re always happy to brew the latest coffee for me to try. Andrew is very knowledgeable and helpful if I need help deciding on what flavors to try next. Jessenia is so sweet and always has a smile on her face. Mark has the best British accent ever and is so wonderful to talk to. I’m always looking forward to visiting this location and usually leave with many more coffee sleeves than I planned for. Best Nespresso team ever.“

“An awesome place with lots of selections. Look for the 365 label of products, they are VERY affordable,so if you're a senior like me you will be able to afford the healthy food here with this name brand. They have three floors, and a public bathroom which always has a long line like a discotheque, but you can use it if you're in the Union square vicinity without any hassle.“
