Blackstone Coffee Roaster in the West Village is a fantastic coffee shop that gets everything right. When staying in the neighborhood, it quickly became one of my favorite places for grabbing an early morning coffee. It is also a perfect little spot to pause and enjoy breakfast to take out or sit on the bench for a quick bite. The bagels and sandwiches are really good. The New Yorker sandwich is my go to.
