“Loved every dish- fluke with black tea, mint and peach(who knew raw fish and fruit went so well together?), amazing grilled artichokes and grilled eggplant. Barely touched my pasta with preserved lemon because I was full, but it was delicious. My daughter’s burger was iconic. The Platonic ideal of hamburgers. Coffee was also delicious. If we had not made a plan to go to La Cabral for dessert and more coffee, I am sure dessert would have been equally excellent.Service was excellent and our waitress was knowledgeable and interested in the food.The fluke reminded me of the first time I went to USC in 1988. I had a plate with raw marinated tuna, raw salmon and raw scallops. The little heaps of fish were so pretty on the plate with their contrasting colors.“

“I went there for breakfast on a Thursday morning. The croque madame was perfection! Great service, good vibe. Be aware that you have to pay for each cup of coffee (vs. getting free refills, which is typical for breakfast service at most restaurants). The upside is the coffee is fantastic and relatively inexpensive for NYC.“

“The food here is always fresh and high quality, with ingredients prepped daily. I’ve tried a variety of items from their menu over the years, and everything has been consistently delicious. My personal favorite is the Chicken Milanese sandwich, it’s flavorful, perfectly prepared, and always hits the spot. The ingredients taste fresh, and you can tell they take pride in the quality of their food. Highly recommended.“

“We went to the Tartinery Cafe at Columbus Circle for a quick bite before a 7 PM show at Lincoln Center. It was a perfect pre-theatre experience. Beautiful setting with great views of Central Park, great service, and delicious food at a nice price point. The open-face club sandwich (topped with brie) was nicely prepared and delicious. We will happily return.“

“What a delightful little breakfast/brunch place!!! We went here straight from the airport on our way into town, luggage and all, and it was perfect! We sat in the little outside area with the fans because the A/C was broken inside. My mom ordered the Grey Dog’s Breakfast with her eggs scrambled, French toast, and bacon, and it’s served with home fries. I ordered the egg and cheese croissant minus the parsley (not my fave) and added bacon. I’m picky about my home fries, so the server offered me french fries instead. We had exactly zero complaints about our meal. The portions are big, the eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly, and the French toast had this sweet butter with it that I can’t even compare to anything because it was so unique and delicious. The home fries ended up being DELICIOUS. The French fries were also good. I enjoyed the seasoning on them as well. I’m not a big fan of the thing shoe string fries, but these were good! The three employees we encountered were all very friendly and I would be more than happy to eat here again any time.“

“We came here for dessert after having brunch at a different restaurant. The wait was about 50 minutes without a reservation for seating at the bar. For the future I will definitely be making a reservation as we walked the whole store in about 15 mins. The dessert was amazing and so was the Cocopolitan. My favorite was the Tiramisu 'Montenapoleone' we also ordered the Strawberry Charlotte and the Chocolate Monogram. Will definitely be going back!“

“This cafe is so lovely. I had the pleasure of Desi and Aida assisting me with my order. They made the most delicious soy chai with amazing foam. Their desserts were amazing as well. It was refreshing to be greeted with such positive and friendly energy in New York. I can't wait to come back when I am in the area. “This place is a tiny little jam with great service and small bites. Everything was tasty from the Hamon to the Wago beef tartar, Hamachi crudo, Seabass ceviche and the spaghetti. Wines were excellent, especially the Chablis and Chateauneuf-du-pape. Place ain’t cheap so fasten your seatbelts.“

“Great coffee, great atmosphere and great service. The barista was very friendly and authentic. They had everything I love in a coffee shop; computer charging areas, all different types of coffee from espresso to drip to cold brew. Cold brew was smooth and flavorful. She talked me into the croissant and it was worth it! She’s say it’s baked fresh and it tasted like it. Thanks for the great experience.“

“This was our first time eating at Tartinery. There are several items to choose from on the menu. I ordered the Roast Beef Tartine and a chocolate chip cookie. Both were absolutely delicious. The concrete countertops around the restaurant were a nice touch. The staff was incredibly friendly while also providing fast service. We will absolutely visit again when we are in New York.“

“Arrived early for a two-person reservation on a hot summer New York night, fresh off the excitement of the Knicks parade - we didn’t catch it but the energy was palpable.

Even though our table wasn’t ready (we were a full hour early after all), the hostess was kind enough to help us pick out a chenin blanc to enjoy inside before being seated outside.

While the burger was absolutely delicious, the highlight of the evening was our server, Hunter. He struck the perfect balance of being attentive and giving us space, allowing us to enjoy our conversation without interruption. Somehow, he always seemed to appear at exactly the right moment whenever we needed something.

Exceptional service, great food, and a wonderful experience all around. We’ll definitely be back.“

“Took my 2.5 year old niece to Da Adriano and they could not have been nicer or more accommodating to us. We ordered the bolognese and the special of the day which was pistachio pesto and better than any pistachio pesto i had in Sicily two weeks ago. “I decided to try a new coffee spot today and walked into Tenpa’s. I ordered a 16oz iced latte with almond milk and raspberry flavoring. I should’ve taken a picture before I mixed it all up because it was pretty and layered. The raspberry flavoring isn’t very strong, but the quality of the coffee is REALLY good. You can tell it’s good just by the color of it, that perfect toasty brown. Not too milky :)
These guys are fast and efficient! Don’t be worried about a line because it’s moving FAST. The employees are nice and pleasant and everyone’s smiling. There’s definitely regulars that go in because the person making the drinks was calling out their orders before they even ordered them lol the pastries looked delicious so I’ll be ordering one next time I go in. There’s some nice seating and looks like people enjoy going in there to work. I was in and out of there in less than 5min. Looking forward to another visit :)“

“Fantastic gluten-free and dairy free options. The trays were all labeled with potential allergens and the staff helpfully pointed me towards the best dairy-free options. I had this brookie cookie/brownie hybrid dessert with really fun sprinkles. I also had a soy milk latte and my husband had a regular whole milk latte, and we both enjoyed them. There's a very small bench inside by the cash register but this is really a take out sort of tiny bakery. If you visit I'd recommend you plan to take your box of treats to a nearby park bench to sit and enjoy them. I loved my dessert here and plan to come back the next time I'm in NYC.“
