“This place is a tiny little jam with great service and small bites. Everything was tasty from the Hamon to the Wago beef tartar, Hamachi crudo, Seabass ceviche and the spaghetti. Wines were excellent, especially the Chablis and Chateauneuf-du-pape. Place ain’t cheap so fasten your seatbelts.“

“One of the best meals we have had in NYC. Claud completely delivered: intimate room, great energy, excellent service, a serious wine list, and food that was creative without feeling forced. The scallop skewer with lardo, spinach and artichoke mille-feuille, chicken liver agnolotti, and Dover sole with Chartreuse and lemon were all outstanding. We also loved the Boisson Rully, which paired beautifully with the meal. The devil’s food cake was a perfect finish. Easily a 10/10 date-night spot and one of our new favorite restaurants in the city.“

“Ayza is an absolute gem! The atmosphere is warm and ideal for a fun evening with friends. The service was welcoming from start to finish and our server Christina was friendly and attentive! I'll definitely be coming back, especially for another Chocolate Raspberry Martini. Highly recommended!“

“Loved my first dining experience here. I strongly suggest you make reservations ahead. When my brother and I arrived there were no open tables available. We ended up eating at the bar. The only drawback to sitting at the bar was the noise.
The service was fabulous. We didn't have to wait long for our food to arrive. Our bartender was also attentive to make sure we were okay.
We started with KFC (Kanto Fried Chicken). It was super moist with a nice crispy exterior. The dipping suace pairs well with the chicken. Then we had Chicken Adobo with garlic fried rice. When it arrived our server prepared our meal in front of us. Lastly, we ordered the Lechon platter. When they discovered my brother is allegic to seafood they came out twice to confirm if certain ingredients were acceptable to use. The Lechon Platter was worth every penny. It was delicious and the dipping sauce added to the flavor.“

“Possibly my favorite restaurant in New York. I used to live within walking distance and it was my go to spot for years. Now I make a point to go whenever I'm on the LES. The wine list is excellent and I love their cheese, charcuterie, and salads. I like to sit outside there when the weather is warm“

“I came here as part of a group of four and we ordered one of everything off the menu to share. It feels like upscale Chinese tapas, perfect for sharing with friends, maybe difficult to come as a solo diner for a meal. Everything was incredible, a wonderful spin on Chinese cuisine while still being faithful to classic ingredients. My only mild complaint is that the music is on the loud side, and the chopsticks are form over function. It’s hard to pick anything up with them.“

“My second time at Justine’s, and it continues to impress. I love their creative menu, which changes with the seasons and puts a real emphasis on fresh ingredients. This time I started with a lovely tamarind crudo before moving on to a wonderfully tender chicken served with morels and wilted ramps. Both dishes were excellent and really showcased what they do so well here. Service is always great, and I also appreciate their thoughtful wine program. They have a really nice selection of wines by the glass and are refreshingly generous with their pours. Just a really solid neighborhood restaurant that I’m always happy to return to.“

“Musette Wine bar is a great spot, be it in the morning for some coffee and a breakfast sandwich or later in the evening for wine and finger foods.
The wine bar itself has a rather intimate atmosphere where it's nice and cozy in the morning or down right romantic in the evening hours.
The staff are all kind, amiable and are very happy to provide service with a smile. With the owner himself making appearances and checking in with customers to make sure they are happy.
If you want a spot that you can grab a coffee and bagle before work and a after hours glass of wine to unwind with, look no further“

“Amazing and interesting menu. Each dish was exciting and fun. We realized after our meal that we accidentally ordered and ate all vegetarian. Get the cheezits and the squash rings! The schnitzel was delicious as was the carrot hummus. Whatever that chocolate caramel dessert with marshmallow on top is… GET IT! Maybe get two.“

“Really enjoyed this meal. The burrata was super fresh and the grilled peppers were cooked perfectly, bringing a nice smoky flavor. The veggies honestly stole the show, especially the broccolini, which was really well done. Everything we ordered was solid across the board. Big shoutout to our server too—super kind . I’ll definitely be back to try the steak and burger next time.“

“I stopped in yesterday with my girlfriends as a trio exactly at 5pm and we were able to get a booth. I loved the cute decor. 90s music and relaxed atmosphere. The shining star of the evening was the Happiest Meal deal…. Do not skip the burger! It is so delicious. We tasted a variety of aeperol spritz’s which were all tasty but my favorite was the classic. Our server Ike was super attentive and friendly, gave us helpful recommendations and playful banter, such a sweetheart. We will definitely be back for Happy Hour (and the burgers). Thanks for a great girls date.-Veronica“

“Vanguard on the Upper West Side has become a staple for us since we moved to this area 4 years ago. The interior is so charming, the wine selection is always great (and rotates every season), and the folks who work there are absolute gems! Getting to know Isabel and Jacob behind the bar has been such a joy, and they always give the best recommendations. Don’t sleep on the charcuterie board and other light snacks - they’re all delish!“

“Ended up here accidentally on a layover: Hands down, the best ramen I’ve ever had (springy, slurpy perfection), amazing cocktails (if you like gin the Japanese 75 is a must try!), and whatever the whipped cream, creme brûlée’d banana dessert was tasted like heaven. I even ordered another tonkotsu ramen to go (all the way to Florida) to bring back to my fiancé. They separated all of it, packaged it so it wouldn’t leak, and wrote directions on specific timing for heating up each item! Very impressive service. I’ll be back again!“

“Had a wonderful brunch today at Hudson Clearwater. The smoothie was outstanding. This is a quaint rustic spot and deserves all the love for their vegan friendly menu. I chose the blackened fish sandwich and it did not disappoint. The Cole slaw on the brioche bun, lightly covered with tarter sauce, made for a perfect sandwich. Their fries were delectable as well. Great service, and a great meal with my sweetheart.“

“My wife and I went to the Grove in Los Angeles last night and we had dinner at "Sogno Toscana," an it was outstanding. It was perfect in every way; great food, great drinks, outstanding and friendly staff, beautiful location, etc. I love Italian food but I can't think of one Italian restaurant that I like, until "Sogno Toscano." The food was outstanding, and there was so much more we saw go by that we can't wait to go back and try. And the drinks were outstanding. I love martini's and they served the best martini I've ever had. Giacomo was our server and took great care of us. He's from Italy and "Sogno Toscana" brought him to America when they opened their New York restaurant, and now he's in LA for this new restaurant. Although very busy, the entire staff were very fun to be around, and most of them are Italian which is also great.“

“Quiet, tasty, and welcoming service. It earns its star (especially those sauces). The waiter may add some charm and levity even as the kitchen peels their little heirloom tomatoes. Equally solid for birthdays, anniversaries, and getting a nice quiet corner to yourself.
If you're into wine, be sure to look out for their semi-regular events.“

“This wine bar/lounge was a very nice surprise. We stumbled into it and were very pleasantly surprised about the quality of service, drinks, and food. The cocktails were artfully prepared in a beautiful thin glasses (I had La Rosa, with floral gin and clarified grapefruit and rose water with a hint of pink peppercorn, and my company had a classic martini), served ice cold. We tried two tapas-sized dishes: Quesadilla De Huitlacoche came with warm, hand-made corn tortilla with scrumptious corn mushrooms (huitlacoche) with delicately tangy Oaxacan queso. Flautas de Res -- rolled up crispy thin corn tortilla with fork-tender, juicy stewed beef rib eye -- were exceptional. It was bursting with flavor, absolutely one of the best Mexican food I have eaten. The staff were super attentive, professional and cordial and made us feel welcome an well cared for. This is a beautiful place and I would definitely come back!!!“

“What an incredible brunch experience at Lord’s NYC. From the moment we arrived, Julian made us feel so welcome with his fantastic hospitality, infectious energy, and genuine warmth—it really elevated the whole meal.
The food was outstanding. The Full English Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had, perfectly cooked with high-quality ingredients and packed with flavour. The Sticky Toffee Pancakes were absolutely phenomenal—rich, indulgent, and easily a standout dish that I’d come back for on their own.
Amazing food, amazing atmosphere, and exceptional service. Huge thanks to Julian and the team for such a memorable brunch. Can’t wait to return!“

“There were no alligators in sight, unfortunately, but the service was excellent. Emma and Lena (I think) were very welcoming. I was the first drip coffee order of the day (this was around 4pm), but they were still accommodating. Convenient location, a crisp air temperature, a carefully curated bookshop. Bread upon request. Also milk and/or cream upon request. And bathroom upon request. Good service, whether requested or not. Would recommend“

“TL;DR: Grab a table outside, enjoy a glass of wine with a plate of pasta, and do some people-watching. This is an amazing spot to wind down the evening!
Food:
I have had the orecchiette (brunch) and the lasagne (dinner). I have also tried the chicken milanese panini. The food really is quite spectacular here: I love that you can really taste how high quality and textured the pasta is. For seemingly simple dishes, they do an amazing job at the flavor. They have good wine selection as well with some affordable options. There is also a happy hour as well to look out for!
Service:
The waiters here are quite friendly and very attentive. They regularly ask if you need anything, and they’ll come do water refills as needed. No complaints at all.
Ambiance:
Located on a street with a good amount of foot traffic but is not that loud. It’s very comfortable outside, and they have seating indoors as well (although I exclusively choose to sit outdoors here). There is a clean restroom downstairs as well.“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chito Gvrito and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm, friendly smile and a cozy ambiance that set the tone for the evening. The menu offers a perfect balance of classic favorites and innovative dishes (shout out to the Chief), ensuring there’s something for everyone. I started with the Georgian salad and eggplant rolls, which was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. For my main course, I chose Ojakhuri which was cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and seasoned just right. My friends selected: Adjaruli khachapuri (cheese and egg in the middle of deliciously baked bread) and Shrimp dish. This goes well with chacha and compote drink, make sure to have few shots. The service was impeccable. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and eager to make recommendations based on our preferences. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, enhancing the overall dining experience. To top it all off, we indulged in the dessert, had 4 various ones that we split and all were AMAZING! This was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. It was clear that every dish was prepared with care, using fresh, high-quality ingredients. Overall, I highly recommend Chito Gvrito for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. It’s not just a meal—it’s an experience you won’t want to miss!“

“Lovely little place to have some wine and little bites or plates.
In Spain we are used to small places where you stay at the bar without sitting having dinner, a glass of wine or whatever; it was really nice having this experience in New York.
Food is good, wine as well, a bit expensive (portions are small… cheese board is a bit poor), but wait… it’s NYC it’s kind of normal.
The guys at the bar kind and smiley.
We enjoyed a lot our night and we were lucky to find a spot!“

“I had a wonderful experience here celebrating someone’s birthday! The staff were very attentive and every dish was a hit.
We splurged for the 14 day aged duck and it was so worth it — it’s now my favorite duck I’ve had in NYC! I’d recommend coming with st least 4 people if you order it.
The pan con tomate and frog legs were surprise hits for me, and I loved the chai tres leches cake for dessert.“
