“Wine was ok, but the cake...........................insane“

“It is a cool, laid back atmosphere. On Fridays before 7Pm, the curtains are open and the together is flowing in to experience the beauty of the space. After 7pm is when they close the curtains and make a really lovely jazz club vibe with low lights and warm lighting from beautiful lamps. There us a DJ that plays at 8:00PM and the music is super jazzy but at about 9pm, he started playing some really good club/jazzy music. Really good, not too loud! The bartenders/servers are the most sweetest , kindest people and they are super knowledgeable regarding the wines and spirits selections. Shout out to EP! She's the best and she should get a HUGE RAISE or Manager (if she's not already)! Sis KNOWS what she is doing and a beautiful soul to boot. The small plates is pleasantly deliciously for what they offer. We had this fig jam, beef, arugula and cheese paying on their famous rosemary focaccia bread. It wa sacconpanied by with THE MOST TASTIEST truffle chips! My goodness! The Friday before last, I had the Bread and Butter. It came with the famous rosemary focaccia bread and this AMAZING compound butter that was paprika and rosemary infused. Their Happy hour menu is pretty good and the prices are very decent. However, well after Happy hour is over, they are still decent because when they are pouring top shelf-top tier, they are pouring. Happy hour is 4pm - 7pm. The drinks are always delicious and so is the wine. They will give you a mini wine tasting if you are just wanting to see what you might enjoy. There is a ton of cool seating but both times I was there I sat at the bar and I think that will always be my choice. The bar stools are more so open right after work between 5pm and 6ishPM. Overall. I will keep returning to Consigliere for the experience. The fact that it is around the corner from my job and I can unwind after work is a plus. But even if I didn't, I'd always choose to go there for a quick glass OR NOT for a quick glass, a few LOL.“

“This is a cool Georgian restaurant in Newark, NJ. I stopped by randomly after shopping for an event. I tried Adjaruli Khachapuri for the first time in my life. It was pretty interesting in how it was prepared but it was tasty. I also had the creamy garlic chicken and some wine. Great for a solo lunch date or just because.“

“If you're looking for authentic Spanish food in Newark, Casa d'Paco is the spot to go. Food is served tapas style. The dishes are super flavorful, ambiance is great, service super welcoming. Prime time could be hard to get a table since seats are limited but totally worth going. Sangria was a little on the sweeter side but still very very good. Will be back.“

“The Roxy provided an incredible evening from start to finish. Our waiter, Bruce, was exceptionally welcoming and brought a warm, inviting energy to our table. We started with the ahi tuna tartare, which was simply fantastic; the freshness and richness of the fish were unmatched, and every bite had the perfect firmness. Following Bruce's recommendation, we also tried the charred octopus, which lived up to its wonderful menu description. The overall quality of the products is clear in every dish, and the wine selection is elegant. “Can I please give it 6 stars? I recently went there with a group of five family members while visiting New Jersey and we had a truly extraordinary night! As an investor in restaurants I'm very critical when visiting any restaurant and not often impressed even with well known critically acclaimed restaurants. It's very rare when a place has truly incredible food with every appetizer and entree as well as first class VIP vibes for service. You could literally taste the passion and care put into every plate with beautifully prepared flavorful abundant meals. In fact, it was the first time in almost a decade I brought home leftovers as the meal was delicious and easily sufficient for two people. Our entire table raved about their meals and the attentive but not obtrusive service was always there to refill our wine and assist without any of us having to look up for service. The food alone would have made for a great night but what truly made it memorable besides the great waitstaff was the manager, Eli. When was the last time a manager, GM or owner greated you at your table to share a polite, interesting and passionate conversation about the food and why they love sharing this experience with their valued customers? He made our entire table feel like VIPs and made perfect recommendations for wine and dessert. It felt more like we were in someone's home as we were there for close to 3-1/2 hours talking, eating, drinking and laughing. The ambiance is warm and unpretentious and the memories of a great experience will certainly bring us back again.“

She was absolutely a joy, smiling and chatting while she served us up our drinks, then meticulously prepared the dipping oil for our warm bread. After taking our order, Linda served us two very large portions. I had a pasta dish with rigatoni that was made fresh that day. (The bar is connected to an Italian restaurant, which is a separate business, but they work seamlessly to provide customers in both establishments a terrific dining experience. “If you’re looking for old school Italian, this is a great spot. They made it easy to schedule a work dinner for 9 people, and the service was quick and accurate. The Caesar salad was extremely tasty, as was my pasta dish, albeit a tad salty. The front bar area is also cozy and casual, so it’s a great place for an after work cocktail.
