“Neighborhood gem. Great decor, homey, comfortable but well appointed. I have dined here alone and with family, both times it was a good atmosphere. GM Michael is really good and runs a good staff. The food is delicious- good for all types of diet restrictions. Fresh ingredients well prepared. Last but not least also great cocktails. Host and server were friendly and attentive. I will for sure be coming back here!“

“Did know what to expect but everything was absolutely delicious. I got the Baba Bowl and added avocado and the apple bottom drink was yummy!“
“I made the trek from Manhattan to try out Liar Liar. It definitely didn't disappoint. The food was beyond spectacular and the service was great. I highly recommend the chicken and waffles, they were the best I've ever had. The space itself is beautiful as well. A lot of original exposed brick and creative decorating that make you feel right at home. This place was built and designed with love, you feel it the second you walk in.“
“This is the cutest wine bar ever!!! It’s so cozy inside and the wine selection is great. I recommend getting a chilled red. It was packed when we got there, but the staff were so sweet and able to accommodate my group. Such an amazing neighborhood spot.“

“I'm a longtime neighbor who has been coming to the space since the late 2000s. I even liked whatever was going during late COVID years. I was emotionally boycotting the new menu because I loved Prime Meats. While I'll forever miss the pretzel and mustard, charcuterie platter, french fries and wursts and pickles, the new place has the same combination of new and reliable. The menu is outstanding and so is the service, cocktails and ambience. Thank you for the consistent excellence!“

“★★★★★
After an amazing day party at Superior Ingredients, we wanted somewhere intimate, elevated, and relaxing to unwind before continuing the night — and was the perfect choice.
The atmosphere here is incredible. Dim lighting, beautiful music at the perfect volume, effortlessly stylish crowd, and a warm energy that instantly makes you want to stay longer. The space feels classy and romantic without ever feeling pretentious. It’s the kind of place that makes you slow down and actually enjoy the experience.
The wine selection was outstanding. We spent the night exploring multiple imported European wines and loved how curated and unique everything felt. Pair that with the cheese boards and small plates and it becomes one of the best date-night wine spots in Brooklyn.
What really stood out though was the hospitality. The host and entire staff were genuinely welcoming, attentive, knowledgeable, and gave first-class service from start to finish. You can tell there’s real passion behind the experience they create.
Perfect for romantic dates, intimate conversations, catching up with friends, or just having a more sophisticated night out in Williamsburg. Easily one of the best wine bar experiences we’ve had in NYC and definitely a spot we’ll keep coming back to. 🍷✨“

“Cutest little neighborhood wine bar! The staff is very knowledgeable about all the wines they have available. (Shoutout to Austin and Tiffany.)
My friend and I stopped in on a Monday night after dinner. They let us try several different wines in order to make our selection.
Very intimate/cozy vibes and reasonable prices. Would be a great place for a date night!“

“I cannot say enough good things about my experience at this restaurant. The food was spectacular. I will dream about it. Service was prompt and polite. Best middle eastern food I have had in a long time. If you are in the area, you must stop by. It’s worth it!“

“If I could give this place 1000 stars, I would. Gyasi and Earl made the whole experience unforgettable — amazing service, great energy, and they truly know their wine. The wine selection was incredible, and every recommendation was perfect.
And can we talk about the apricot jam?! I don’t know what magic is in that jar, but paired with the cheese and charcuterie it was INSANE. I’m still thinking about it. The food was completely out of this world — every plate was better than the last.
The whole vibe was fun, warm, and the kind of place you go for “one glass” and end up staying all night. Already planning my next visit!“
“Always love this spot. Had my birthday dinner here for ~22 people and they were awesome start to finish. Super helpful picking out menu, drinks, etc. The staff and space are both amazing. All of the food is delicious and the drinks are fun. The boozy affogatos are out of this world. Everyone is still talking about how much fun they had and how good the pizza was. Can never go wrong with Bar Birba! Perfect date night spot as well.“

“One of my favorites in the neighborhood. The owner, chef, and staff create such a welcoming, easygoing environment — the kind of place where you can settle in for a solo glass of wine, catch up with friends, or end up chatting with someone new.
The wine selection is thoughtful and approachable, with plenty to explore whether you know exactly what you like or are looking for a recommendation. The food is always excellent, and the backyard is one of the best places in the neighborhood to spend an evening.“

“This is such a beautiful, warm and welcoming space. I feel like a just unearthed a new treasure! Now my favorite cafe. Best atmosphere and the treats are fresh and delicious —albeit a bit pricey, even compared to other cafes in the area. I think the reason for this might be that it is one of those very few places left in the city where one can really sit comfortably and peacefully for hours without feeling rushed to leave so the table can be turned. We should be ready and willing to pay a little extra to help keep these places open; I definitely am. Love this place!“
“This is a pretty interesting spot! It’s one part wine bar, one part restaurant, one part art studio and showroom - the wine is the star here imo, and it’s worth checking out for a drink and a little bite. The food is yummy for sure, but definitely felt too expensive for what it was and how much of it you get. I’m planning to go back for the wine!“

“Che is like home away from home. It is everything you want in a cafe / wine bar. Incredible breakfast sandwich - ON LOCK! Delicious crunchy unique wines?! FOR DAYS! Interesting cocktails and classics alike - YES! Also do you want to experience food made with love?! It is a truly special place with care and intention put into every single detail. But the thing that makes it the best is the people who run it. They are beautiful inside and out, wildly talented, and foster community in a special way. 100000/10 recommend.“
“This is a super cute little spot. It has a very charming heated back patio if you are looking to have a drink with a friend safely during the pandemic.“

“I love this spot for the most part, but have only been 3 times. The reason for that is every time I go, it’s an insanely long wait to get a drink. I’m not sure if I got unlucky with only going while they only have 1 bartender, but we’ve only gotten 1 drink each time because we couldn’t deal with waiting for another.“
“Knowledgeable, kind, produces a great atmosphere for happy hour and beyond. Whoopsie Daisy’s staff have heart and it shows. I don’t mention this bar nearly enough I want them to have many years of success in Central Brooklyn. Thank you for such a great weekday happy hour menu!!!“
“Came here with my boyfriend for the first time for a relaxed date night after work. Beautiful decor and great natural wine selection, which they change out routinely so there’s always something new. Definitely recommend trying their flight of wines for a good tasting selection. They had a live dj rotation playing fun music from Jorja Smith to Bobby Caldwell. Our bartender was very hospitable and the owners made conversation and were such a sweet couple. Can’t wait to come back when the weather is warmer and enjoy.“
“Million Goods is the best place to go in Brooklyn if you're trying to get high vibes in a great atmosphere. Stop by for a wine and all of the staff are top tier. Grab a shirt or some pants from some high quality fashion finds that you can't get anywhere else. A must-go any time you're in Brooklyn!“

“I recently had a delightful dining experience at Leland Eating and Drinking House in Brooklyn. Starting with a refreshing porter beer from the tap, I then savored the incredible Japanese sweet potato, which was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The highlight of the meal was the Porchetta Sandwich with ZA'ATAR CHIPS. Encased in their soft and freshly made bread, the sandwich was a symphony of flavors, perfectly complemented by the crispy and tasty house-made chips. Each bite was a testament to their commitment to using high-quality ingredients and crafting memorable dishes. The cozy ambiance of the restaurant added to the overall experience, making it a fantastic place to unwind and enjoy exceptional food. I look forward to returning to Leland Eating and Drinking House to explore more of their enticing menu offerings! 10 star review!!!“

“I had the pleasure of visiting Rhodora last night for the Critical Whimsy pop-up in the back room.
Laura-Sage not only provides incredible service, curated a welcoming and intentional vibe, but also is the brain behind Critical Whimsy, an incredible expression of unique and special ferments.
Laura Sage is a gift to this wine bar and anyone with the chance to catch another Critical Whimsy pop up should run, not walk.“

“This has been one of the best meals I’ve ever had. My wife and I came here on a whim. We went full French classics: Frog’s Legs, Escargot, Steak Tartare, Petit Moules Marinère, Goat cheese Puffs and Salmon Pave. Everything was seasoned well and tasted delicious. It reminded us of our trip to Paris a couple years ago. Highly Recommend if you are into French food and in the area.“
“Came here late for a night cap when they had 20 mins left to close while it was so cold outside! and the bartender was so sweet. I’m new to natural wine and they were so informative and helpful with my decision!!
Didn’t catch their name but they had dark hair and a lip piercing.highly recommend just wish they were open a later since it’s a Saturday. Oh well !!“

“Been here a few times, both for meals and drinks. The outdoor space is across from Fort Greene park and is relatively quiet despite being on the street. The indoor space is more intimate and you’re seated very close to other patrons which makes it a bit noisier when the restaurant is busy. The food was delicious, we got a mix of the steak frites, French onion soup, and foie gras. They have an extensive wine menu, so it’s a great spot for casual drinks on a nice day too.“
“This place is very, very special. Having visited a lost count of Omakase counters in NYC, it’s often a real risk choosing a new one, even when you do the research and read a million reviews.
My wife and I took the risk on LUYA when taking a friend to dinner a couple weeks ago and it may have been our biggest surprise in NY dining in at least a few years. There are way too many things praise worthy at this place to list them all so I’ll highlight a few and let the rest speak for itself when you go try it…
- The staff is beyond top tier. Not only are they all friendly, kind, observant and attentive, but they’re also fun to be around! Never intrusive, never annoying, always the right amount of conversation.
- The fish is some of the best, and most outstandingly fresh I’ve ever had anywhere, not just in NY. The sourcing must be incredible because every single piece is truly punching WAY above its class in terms of price, taste, and presentation.
- The natural wine bar and perfectly curated selection of sake and Japanese spirits is such a welcome surprise. The cocktails are wonderful, and the bartender (somm??) is super knowledgeable about everything there.
Just come here, you won’t regret it. Best kept secret in the city.“
“While waiting for dinner at a friend’s house, I decided to stop by The Frog, where I knew another friend was enjoying a lively pool (billiards) night. It turned out to be a great decision—we both had a wonderful time sipping organic wine and beer while meeting fellow neighborhood regulars.
The food looked very appealing, but I had to pass since I had dinner plans later. I definitely made a mental note to come back and try it next time. The staff were friendly and helpful, which added to the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.“
“Anaïs is the perfect spot for any occasion; whether it’s coffee with an old friend, a wine night with the girls, or hosting someone special from out of town. I used to live closer and miss the atmosphere and staff dearly. The wine list is incredibly thoughtful and delicious, curated through time spent learning directly from French winemakers. If you’re in the area, Anaïs is an absolute must-go!“

“After searching for an appropriate venue for three old childhood friends to rest their weary bodies from eight hours of walking and enjoy a cocktail, we came upon this gem of a place. We each had a drink, but, I was the only one who got a snack. Two magnificent bruschettas hit the spot. I hope I can find this place again on my next walk over the Bridge!“

“I took the cooking class last week, I went solo hoping to learn a few new tricks in the kitchen and maybe meet some new people.
This completely exceeded my expectations. I almost don’t want to leave a review because the next two months are already booked out and I am eager to go again 😉. But Alex deserves all the amazing reviews because, wow, what a special experience.
Go alone, with a partner or friend, or with a group. You can’t go wrong. The food and company was spectacular and worth every penny. The chef/host, Alex, and the staff that support the event are top notch. I felt immediately comfortable and like part of the community. We all stayed chatting at the dinner table until about 10pm because we were having such a lovely time.
Alex, please open up more nights so I can come back more often!!!“
