“Great take on Lu rou fan (minced pork and rice), excellent scallion pancakes and awesome dessert (Tian miantuan) that was like a sandwich of sweet fried dough, golden sesame ice cream and condensed milk (plus cilantro and butter dried peanuts)! Great beverages as well such as the slightly sweetened Jasmine iced tea and Sanzo (lychee & calamansi) sparkling water products!“

“Great local spot with awesome food and a great staff/service. Their commitment to Northern Italian classics and creative specials, coupled with the cozy vibes, makes this restaurant one I’ll definitely revisit. Everything was amazing but the oxtail and cuttlefish polenta and the octopus spaghetti stole the show.“

“First time diner after hearing about it from my son and DIL. Not usually a fan of Mexican food, but this was more of a continental menu. All of our food was fresh, well prepared and delicious.
Josh was our server, couldn't have been more pleasant and extremely helpful in our choices.
The atmosphere was noisy but not overbearing in a quasi industrial setting.“

“The place was amazing! The inside is so beautiful. I ordered the chicken and it was PHENOMENAL. It was tender and delicious. The dish is half a chicken so it’s kind of big. The workers were very kind and polite. The service was amazing. I would highly recommend!“

“Stunningly great restaurant in all respects, especially food with the sweet potato and red snapper dishes being delicious, creative and original. The lamb kofta and the lamb main dish were also 10/10 and the naan bread is definitely worth it! Exceptionally nice service and beautiful restaurant. Do not miss this one.“

“reminds me of grand restaurants in Tokyo! grand but understated in vibe, beautifully furnished with deep wooden paneling and tables throughout. bar seating is a bit tight but the staff is so welcoming and warm. loved the Melonade mocktail made of cantaloupe, shiso tea: not sure why but it tasted like umeboshi (dried plum) to me.
enjoyed some good yakitori - solid chicken meatballs and onigiri (nothing beats Taisho in Midtown- have yet to try the Michelin one though.) karaage (fried chicken) was delicious as was the steamed clams.
if in Greenpoint, worth a visit! it’s beautiful here.“

“5 stars are not enough to tell you how good this place is. We've been staying in the Franklin Guesthouse (hotel adjacent to Madre) for a couple of nights and decided to give Madre a shot - boy were we in for a treat! Firstly, shout out to Armando, who made us feel immediately welcomed with his warmth and energy! For food, we got the Frutti di Mare, Croquetas, Brussels Sprouts, Cornbread Madeleines (compliments from chef) and Chicken - massive MASSIVE props to Chef Bryan and his very talented team. To say that they cooked "well" would be the understatement of 2022. They absolutely blew our minds with top quality medley of ingredients, depth of flavor, and masterful execution in every way. Cocktails were fun and delectable, which added the perfect "pop" to the culinary rocket ship that Madre served up. Just when my wife and I were ready to call it a night, Chef Bryan and Armando were kind enough to bring out the Pot de Creme for us, which was the bow and ribbon on this very special dinner. My only regret of the night was not having enough stomachs to enjoy more of what Madre could serve up. We will definitely be back! Thank you, Madre!“

“Misi, tucked away in Brooklyn, is a pasta lover's safe place. Reservations are essential, so plan ahead to avoid disappointment. Knowing this, I arrived right as dinner service kicked off, only to find about ten others with the same strategy. Fortunately, I was offered a spot at the bar. The ambiance is inviting, and the service is warm and swift.
I started with the fennel salad, a refreshing mix of fennel, celery, walnuts, and parmigiano that immediately caught my attention. The salad had just the right amount of tartness, making it a bright, invigorating start to the meal. This dish is a must-try for anyone who is a fan of fennel.
I then dove into two pastas: the corzetti with butternut squash and the strangozze with pork sugo. The pastas, no surprise, were the stars of the show. Both were outstanding. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the flavors were rich and comforting. I’d intended to save some for later but found myself polishing off both plates without a second thought. I also indulged in a classic Aperol Spritz to complement the meal—a fitting choice for an Italian spot, and it didn’t disappoint.
With so many other tempting pasta options on the menu and if the other pastas are as good as the ones I ordered, and I’m betting they are, I’ll be back soon to explore more of them. I see what all the hype is about and Misi truly lives up to it.“

“The atmosphere is okay, but it's very noisy.
Raw cureb Wild shrimp and lobster tostada special, fish with lots of herbs, were very delicious.
I thought the Head on Shrimp was steamed, but since it was fried, it felt a bit cheap and the size seemed a bit small.
Had a great time with Chardonnay“

“They’re back! After being closed for 6 months Chez Me Tante is back and as good as ever. Beautiful wine, incredible food, amazing service. I’m always a little worried about a decrease in quality after place closes for a bit due to construction issues or whatever but I’m happy to report this place is still perfect. Get the skate ??“

“lovely interior, great atmosphere, good cocktails. food is a little pricy, cauliflower was delish, smoky eggplant also great although very small portion and bread to spread ratio wasn’t fair?. we didn’t like the fish, it was dorada that day. it didn’t feel fresh and tasted weird. it was also a very small fish for $42.“

“It’s my fav neighborhood spot, and some of the best Mexican food I’ve found in NY/BK. Staff are really nice, drinks are great, and the new meat tacos are rad.
Vegetarian options: They recently added meat the the menu but it has an extensive vegetarian and they use corn flour tortillas“

“This place is adorable! I’m a sucker for good curbside seating and PDA has a great outdoor space. The interior is cozy but has a great homey feel and full view of the brick iron oven pumping out pizza after pizza.
Note: the bathroom sink is operated by pedal - don’t look for the knobs lol.
Ok food: the shoshito peppers came out perfectly charred, the arancini are wonderfully crisp and cheesy with an unexpected yet not overwhelming bite (of spicy). We had the sun gold & oyster mushroom pizza - YUM! Perfectly thin Neapolitan pizza with the perfect layer of toppings to keep it from getting soggy.
The no-bake cookies with an espresso top off the meal ideally.
Definitely enjoyed this Brooklyn gem, and happen to think the name of this place is brilliant! “

“Went to this place for dinner on a Friday. The place got a really good vibe and ambience. I tried the pizza and mix seafood pasta. The food was served at a good temperature and the taste was good. They have different kinds of pasta and all of them have different taste. I would suggest to keep up the quality and service for better customer experience.“

“There are not enough stars to describe our experience at RAS! We ate there for 2 of 4 nights in NYC. We tried the Mercato and the Piassa plates as well as the Bole bowl. Everything tasted fantastic, like a flavour party for the tastebuds! The ambiance is magnificent and our waiter both times, Andrew, was super friendly and fun to chat with. We would recommend this place to anyone and if we lived in NYC it would definitely be a regular spot :)“

“Amazing hotdog with cute vibe. I got a chili dog with extra topping of onion and hot sauce which was recommended by the person working there (owner?). Bun was soft and sausage was juicy. It was overall simple recipe by simple idea but very well executed. Highly recommend for those who are nearby.
There are only outdoor seats available so I presume it might be a bit troublesome to enjoy hotdogs here during burning summer or freezing winter.
It was a delicious hot dog of very good quality that I would buy as a snack while playing at a nearby park. However, since the only place to sit is a simple table in front of the store, it may not be a convenient place to eat if it is hot, cold, or rainy.“

“Traif in Brooklyn was a cool experience! The 10-course tasting menu was so good – so many yummy bites. I was worried I'd leave hungry, but nope! By the end, I was stuffed. The owner even hooked us up with a bonus dish – so nice! Just be warned, they do adhere to timed dining.“

“I got the spicy tuna dip and clam soup as appetizers, and for my main course, I ordered the signature set and added a few more temakis. Personally, I preferred the classic types of temakis. The special kinds had too much sauce for my taste. Overall, everything was delicious, and the staff were super nice. If you can't get a reservation at the city location, the Williamsburg location is way easier to book a table.“

“I had my birthday brunch here this past weekend. Miro helped plan a prefixe menu for my group of 15 guests that accommodated for omnivore, gluten free, and vegetarian diets, as well as a shrimp allergy.
I was in touch with him several times in the month leading up to my event as my guests confirmed or cancelled their reservations and as new dietary needs came up even up until the several days before our reservation. I was so grateful for Miro’s clear and timely communication throughout, as well as for all the accommodations he was able to make for us.
The food was awesome on the day of the event — in particular we loved the five spice fried chicken and waffle dish, the spicy noodle stir fry, the imperial rolls, and the slow cooked lamb buns. We also got the papaya salad, and coconut french toast, which were also delicious. For my gluten free guests, they made gluten free vietnamese crepe. ? My group was extremely well fed, the backyard ambience was relaxed and leisurely, and service was great.
Price was $50 per person, not including drinks — for the quality of the food and the fantastic service, this was absolutely worth it.
I had a fabulous birthday here, and I’m so happy with how it turned out! Thank you again to Miro and the service staff day of for making my birthday brunch so wonderful ?“

“I met some old friends for dinner here. There were three (3) of us and we ordered everything to share. We started with the Fava Bean puree with Chicory and the Crostini with Ricotta, Broccolini, and Salsa Picante. For pastas we had the Maccheroni with Sungold Tomatoes, Corn, and Basil. As well as the Linguini with Smoked Swordfish, Olives, and Capers. We also shared the Chicken Diavolo with Roasted Cauliflower. For desserts we shared the Wild Fennel Ice Cream and the Chocolate Sorbetto.
Everything was delicious and it was the perfect amount of food for the three (3) of us. The service was excellent. It was a bit loud. But, that's common in NYC restaurants.“

“As a person born and raised in Red Hook since 1955 thought I get together with friends and family and see what Van Brunt had to offer although a good friend of mine owns this property I wasn’t so thrilled about the way the place looked it looked run down but we made the most of it to be honest I was not at all impressed with this Van Brunt Vibe I have seen better times
Parking was a nightmare luckily I parked in front of my parents home just a block away ran into a couple of old buddies from the early 60s when I attended Visitation Catholic school which is now a Court House besides that I have nothing more to add.JuanP“
