Traif is so outstanding that it reminds me, despite our crumbling society, that there is a beacon of hope, a light at the end of the tunnel in the form of a chef’s tasting menu, where each dish is so flavorful, so delicious, that I shed not one, but several tears that maybe, just maybe, humanity has a chance of food this good still exists.
Fantastic date night at Traif!! We had the tasting menu and it was such an amazing tasting journey from the chef and such a great deal (8 courses and 2 desserts for $56)! Some of my favorites were the tuna tartare on tempura eggplants, scallops on risotto and the burrata, bacon marmalade & homemade chips. The portions were just right. Really great chill date-night spot. The little area in the back was so cute. The pasta was great. LOVE the oversized rigatoni and the tuna tartare. Need to come back to try their meat dishes still!!
