Such an incredible experience . Tasting menu was amazing !
What a great find! This restaurant is a hidden gem. The food is authentic Mexican and the cocktails are so fresh! Alex, the manager, made sure I was comfortable. All the staff is very welcoming. Get yourself a cocktail and order family style so you can try a bit of everything.
Truly wonderful experience doing the tasting menu, my boyfriend and I did a walk in Friday night and were wowed by the quality of the service and the food. Incredibly flavorful, so many different dishes, and they asked us if there was anything special from the menu we wanted to include in the tasting menu, so it felt really specialized for us and our palettes.
Our favorite dishes were the bone marrow tacos, the guacamole, and the pork carnitas

For dessert, guests can indulge in lavender flan, tres leches cake, or churros. The foie gras al pastor dish may be less popular, but overall, the food is delicious. While some vegetarian options may leave much to be desired, the meat dishes generally receive high praise. Notably, the bone marrow and duck have been highlighted for their amazing flavors and textures. Xixa offers a memorable dining experience at an affordable price, making it one of the best restaurants in NYC.
