“This was my 2nd time at Otis and it won't be my last. The food was pretty good but heavily salted. I'm a little sensitive to salt, but my entire party, 4 people, agreed that everything was too salty, particularly the steak. The next time I go, I'll be sure to let them know that we're on a low sodium diet! Otherwise it was a lovely experience.”

“First of all, let me mention this place offers some of the best service in the area. Their drinks are quite unique and precisely made to satisfy. The food is authentic and delicious. Thank you to our server Ari, she was amazing and offered great suggestions and was very patient and professional, also friendly to my party of three. We will be back very soon, if you doubt anything I’ve said here, you seriously need to try it for yourself.”

“I am Venezuelan and I feel that going to Casa Ora is connecting with my roots. The food is delicious (my favorites are tequeños and empanadas), the decoration of the place is beautiful, the atmosphere is pleasant and the service is excellent. Casa Ora is definitely a good representation of our country.”

“First time in Mazzat and we were very impressed. Mazzat is a cozy and charming restaurant in Brooklyn, NY with the best Mediterranean food in NYC. The service we received was amazing and the staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations. We will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience. I highly recommend this restaurant.”

“I really liked the feijoada and the cachaça spritz cocktail. My wife enjoyed her eggs benedict… the owner is from Rio and the food seems authentic but I’ve never been to Brazil so I can’t say! We will definitely come back and try more things. Its not a huge indoor space but they have a backyard seating area as well.”

“Very cute spot, the harlots progress was REALLY good - my date got one, and after i tried it we both ordered another. Server was awesome and attentive, the vibe was sexy/sultry and fun, good for meeting friends or a date. We will definitely be coming back here!!”

4.7Superb210 Reviews

“Did the burgers go down in price? The food was tasty, burger actually came with a salad. I like my mushroom sandwich! The place is super dark, but that's kind of romantic in a way. Staff was fine. Big selection of beers and a few ciders/wine/sake. They had some mixed drinks too.”

4.7Superb206 Reviews

“My wife and I came here for the first time last night and had a wonderful night out!We shared a beautiful bottle of wine, apps and and entree. Our server Sara was wonderful and very attentive. She explained the menu when we told her we had never been there and helped us pair a perfect wine. It was very welcoming. The food and staff was fantastic. We Will definitely be coming again and bringing friends.”

4.7Superb205 Reviews

“We held an engagement party in the Silver Light Tavern party room and it was the best. Mike made sure everything ran smoothly and is easy to work with. The bartender Stu is talented and personable. Other members of their staff zipped in and out clearing empty drink glasses and replenishing the food. All of our guests loved the venue and we had such fun!”

4.7Superb178 Reviews

“I've come here a few times, you get what you pay for (in a good way). Their food and drinks are really good, service attentive, and just all around nice people working there. I wish they'd bring back the Dark and Stormy Cocktail (seriously advocate for its return, it's pretty slammin).Only reservation I have is their dessert menu (though good) is small. My recommendation hit them up for drinks and dessert (despite my reservation still worth it).”

4.6Superb326 Reviews

“I came here recently for happy hour with a friend and it was a delightful experience! The place itself is decorated beautifully and the layout allows you to choose different seating options. The service was amazing and they quickly corrected any mistakes made. The food was really good and tasted very fresh. Those drinks were made so tasty and strong and I will definitely be coming back to this spot to try the other items I didn’t get!”

4.7Superb155 Reviews

“Great little bar in the PLG neighborhood. Cozy and dimly lit with a nice local vibe. The cocktail menu is interesting and original and they often have live music. When the weather is agreeable, the back patio is a pleasant spot to enjoy your drink and, if you are more interested in conversation than the music, it's quiet. This is a pretty small place so it's not ideal for larger groups.”

4.8Superb102 Reviews

“Fantastic atmosphere in that it has low-key energy combined with an established neighborhood-y bar specializing in whiskey. The spirits list goes on & on. The specialty cocktails are mostly whiskey based; I recommend the white walker. Fun jukebox. Great for groups, dates, & casual meet ups. Small bites available. Lots of wood.”

4.8Superb102 Reviews

“Theater XIV's production of "Seven Deadly Sins" was nothing short of a visual and artistic masterpiece. The exceptional talent of the performers seamlessly intertwined with the striking costumes, meticulous set design, and brilliant choreography, creating a spectacle that was both sultry and superbly crafted. The venue itself, with its quirky and unique ambiance, only added to the immersive experience. All in all, it was an unforgettable night of theatrical wonder and artistry.”

“Delicious and surprisingly authentic tasting Sichuan food in a romantically lit environment. My party ordered family style with four additional bowls of rice to our meal and while I am used to a couple weak dishes here or there, every dish at Antidote had its own unique flavor and was quite strong on its own. I am also not the best with spicy food but the numbing of the beef cubes we ordered was enough to let me experience the intended taste without going overboard or spiciness. A lot of the cocktails were fruity and about as sweet as a dessert! The restaurant was also a quick walk to Domino park which was a perfect place to end the night :)”

4.7Superb130 Reviews

“Super cute, fun bar with delicious drinks and great vibes!! For real though - the frozens are incredible. The BEST froze in NYC, hands down. The little stage in the back has awesome music, comedy and other stuff! This is the perfect spot for a date night, meet-up spot, casual day drinkin - whatever! Love this place!”

4.8Superb88 Reviews

“Brunch was incredible- the food was very fresh and really tasty. We eat regularly at Mediterranean and Middle Eastern restaurants, and this one stands out about the rest. The hummus has a perfect creaminess to it from the tahini. Everyone got different entrees and was satisfied. The latest Benedict was a standout (pictured).”

“Unexpectedly found this spot! My husband found it and it was a hit, not only were the drinks excellent but the service was great (our bartender was so friendly and engaging). In addition the vibes are awesome!!! We will definitely come back to try the food, based on the menu and the reviews it’s sure to be a hit!!!”

“What a great restaurant. Stumbled across here while staying in Brooklyn and loved everything on the menu. The prices and the portions were perfect. The atmosphere was great and our server knew everything to recommend. We ate it all and the drink selection was the cherry on top of a great meal. It all tasted authentic and homemade with fresh seafood. Highly recommend and will be back again.”

“Jimbo Slims is a no thrills traditional dive with quirky granny garage 90s nostalgia vibes. Its the best neighborhood bar with bartenders who are gems. The bartenders and regulars are hilarious, fun, and chill AF. We come back for the home Phil created, and for Andi, who makes the best cocktails and is hilarious. Definitely come here if you want a fun, magical night with cheap drinks :)”

“The staff were helpful and friendly. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. The food was delicious. We had the pretzel and the calamari with kielbasa for appetizers. The pretzel was soft and delicious on its own, but even better paired with the mustard or cheese that came with it. The calamari and kielbasa went well together and were cooked perfectly.I had the weiner schnitzel, and it was wonderful. It was thin and crispy without being too dry. It came with a nice cranberry sauce that complimented it beautifully. The sides of potatoe salad, tomatoe salad, cabbage, and cucumber salad were all great. To top it all off, they have a good beer selection as well. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely dine there again.”

“Great atmosphere and inviting staff in Prospect Heights. The food was great, especially for an out of town family member that never had Mexican food before(??!?!?).Kid-friendliness: Staff are accommodating for those picky eaters in your life.?”

“Delicious food, but while the dishes were tasty, they lacked that special something to leave a lasting impression. The ambiance was pleasant, and the service was decent, but it didn't entirely compensate for the overall feeling of emptiness in the restaurant.”

4.5Superb802 Reviews

“We came here after having dinner nearby. I been to this place before for an event so I was excited to have found out about it. My friend ordered a few different beers and I got my mainstay, a Shirley Temple. We already ate but I don't think they have food. They do have happy hour until 8pm. The bartender was very friendly and attentive. The bar had a low key vibe and it was a good spot to unwind and catch up with friends before heading home.”

4.7Superb104 Reviews

“Very cozy and cool place to visit with family or friends. We came there for a drink, to relax after a long week. Moscow Mule was excellent! The next day we came back for oysters. They were just amazing! The staff is very friendly and they recognized us right away which means they pay attention to their customers☺️ We are definitely planning to visit this place again when we will travel to Brooklyn again.”

“Absolutely love this cocktail bar in Cobble Hill. Very limited happy hour (Tue to Fri 5-7pm: $8 Old Fashioned, $8 Wine Punch, $6 Sauvignon Blanc or Grenache)The patio in the back is lovely. As the night went on, it definitely turned into more of a date destination. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Highly recommend this bar.”

4.6Superb155 Reviews

“Overall rating: 4.5Cute, little spot for a drink or two. Prices are very reasonably priced which I love !Bar was nice, but nothing stood out. Great spot to catch up with friends or go on a date you’re not sure about. Very easy to go for a drink, then dip.I’d recommend if you’re in the area & just looking to chilll.”

4.7Superb92 Reviews

“One of the best experience in a cocktail bar in NY. The draft cocktails are excellent and the quality is recognizable. Sincerely i loved the draft idea and the design of the glasses. The service is really accurate. Mark is a great bartender, very professional and kind. I'll come again for sure!”

4.6Superb153 Reviews

“Such delicious food! The two of us got a couple of margaritas, two starters, and the seared salmon. The margs were great, the honey goat cheese starter was novel to me and super tasty, the Cafe Fez Trio (hummus, eggplant, and red pepper with pita) was really nice, and the salmon was pillowy soft with a crispy crust, plus a really lovely side salad. The portions were big enough that we left feeling stuffed, and will probably order one or two fewer things next time. Will be going back soon!”

4.8Superb65 Reviews

“Awesome bar and very chill atmosphere + also love that WWE was on the TV. The owners are husband and wife team (the wife made our drinks). Atomic Drop is a cool drink, highly recommend. Friend ordered a hotdog and also highlyrecommended it.”

“I enjoyed my time at this bar since recently coming here twice. The first was to use my benefit from the Tippler program and enjoyed the Big Electric Chair (I did hear that this is the most popular drink here), other time I did try another drink that I can't think of at this unholy late hour just I happen to be still awake. Editor's note, it was Kinky Cowgirl, I had two of them and enjoyed it alot.During my visits, I did get to come here once on a Monday and once on a Sunday to see the burlesque. I will definitely be back in the future and thought it was a very interesting bar.”

4.7Superb90 Reviews

“Wow. Phenomenal cocktails in a speakeasy-feel of a bar. I sat at the bar and had a wonderful experience. They have some outside seating out back (and I think out front), and the inside has a great atmosphere.I got the Man on the Moon & My Dear Julius cocktails and savored every sip. They are true craftspeople here! I also saw a lot of Old Fashioned being ordered, so I assume they’re delectable.I didn’t try the food, but they have a meat slicing station that seemed to be hopping.Don’t believe any of the reviews of the “bad service”. They are here to make you delicious drinks, not coddle you.Come and enjoy the phenomenal cocktails and have a good time!”

4.6Superb149 Reviews

“Wow I found this place by chance walking by and they had a jazz band on Sunday night! I decided to go inside and the bartender was super welcoming, after a good cocktail and a tap beer the bartender found out that I’m from Mexico and he told me “do you want a Michelada?” daaaamn, that was like magic! They have a jazz band from 5-9 every Sunday, definitely I’m coming back! Awesome neighborhood bar!”

4.8Superb63 Reviews

“Delish food that’s creative but unfussy, full bar so my dad was happy, attentive/knowledgeable staff, I’ve only had delicious and lasting memories when dining here—be it with a friend or my pops! The inside was a bit loud so I recently outside and never felt forgotten about. Look forward to returning :)”

4.6Superb145 Reviews

“Great BAAAH! Refurbished pool table. :) oh wait this way in NYC?! I thought I was still in Boston at this point in the trip. Anyways let’s get straight to the point. Friendly bartender great prices on booze and whisky 10$ for a pour of laproahig 10 year? Deals deals deals I’ll be back.”

4.8Superb62 Reviews

“I went on a Sunday at 5:30 and I had reservations but the front was empty and they had jazz there starting at 6/630. It was great. It wasn't too crowded me and my friend had this Sunday special which was delicious and was split between the two of us and we were pretty full. we also got the Yuzu cheesecake which was also pretty good but I would've preferred an Italian cheesecake. I had one aperol spritz during the happy hour. I wish I got another because it's till 6 PM and it's two for one. They have a lovely backyard, didn't get to see much of it though. Definitely recommend this place for delicious authentic Italian food.”

4.5Superb380 Reviews

“Had a great and celebratory meal here for one of my besties! Their seafood is fresh and so tasty. We had a non seafood eater with us who was impressed with the quality of the burger at a seafood place. Also if you are a martini guy, the filthy lily is the best dirty martini I have ever had!”

4.5Superb372 Reviews

“Okay middle eastern food but nothing was a Wow. The shawarma (3.5/5) was nice but lacked strong flavor and the shashuka (3/5) was okay but did not have very much flavor in it. The service was also okay - they seemed super rushed. Prices were okay but I don't think I'd return here.”

4.5Superb325 Reviews

“A real jewel! We were there during happy hour, prices more than fair especially compared to Manhattan. We tried all tacos and all were fantastic (the beef ones a little superior than the others). Try the hot sauce! Cocktails also very good! Unfortunately, we discovered this place on our last evening in NYC, but will return for sure.”

4.9Superb44 Reviews

“Cozy, Med cuisine, NY vibe…Very delicious healthy options, perfect presentation & prepared (cooked) Local Neighborhood favorite flavor. Near local attractions & lodging. Note: this place is not for burgers, fried chicken or pizza. However Highly recommend for new gen dining”

4.5Superb314 Reviews

“The most delicious meal I've experienced so far this year. Underrated, unfussy, incredibly clear flavor profiles, and the Mezcal pairings were impeccably done. There are no glowing signs to attract your attention, in a nondescript part of Park Slope, a simple intimate ground floor setting. The food was incredible, from the first bite to the last. The short rib mole was indeed the most memorable, but the rest was a close second. Never had a Mezcal pairing with food before, but this clean freshness of some seriously authentic Mexican flavors, coupled with the smoky and sweet at times, I will not soon forget. I hope to return often. One Michelin star, very affordable, with the largest Mezcal collection I've ever seen. Whatever your notion of Mexican cuisine, this will not disappoint.”

4.5Superb304 Reviews

“I love this place. Amazing backyard. They get bands to play and has a very backyard party feel. The bar itself is lively and without douchbags. Bartenders are fast when busy and nice and chill when it's not.The food is delicious, but it's not an option for a full dinner. It's stuff like chili or pulled chicken. The couple times I've had it, it was delicious. When it first opened I would have called it a hidden gem, but there's no longer a hidden part of this place. It's lively and energetic, giving a life of its own that's quite representative of Sunset Park.If you live in the neighborhood I'd go there right away or if you ever visit Industry City this is a great way to end the night!Parking: It's underneath the BQE, which offers a lot of parking That's usually pretty open”

4.6Superb118 Reviews

“Pizza and cocktails were both delicious. Staff was really friendly but it was a little disappointing that no mention of the hot oil or honey were made. The place also gets super busy. Would love a beef option. All of their meat option is pork.Overall definitely worth it to try it and I would go back.”

4.6Superb117 Reviews

“One of my very favorite neighborhood bars! They have nailed the vibe: a mix of fun & upbeat, but still laidback and not pretentious. Love the retro, pink/blue/purple atmosphere. Drinks are delicious (I’m always ordering their espresso martinis!! It has a unique spin). Staff & owners are the best. Great for groups, bdays and events, but also dates and solo hangs if you’re up for it. Forever recommending Blinky’s to anyone in the area. :)”

4.9Superb41 Reviews

“Worth the wait. Some of the best hummus I’ve had in a long time and that says a lot. The food was absolutely delicious. The dip tray was out of this world. The wings? Ouf… The meat portions were small, but we were both satisfied and full.Overall sure it can be pricy for the amount of food you get but the taste, how full you feel from your meal, the service, that view and atmosphere makes up for it. I recommend; it’s a wonderful experience.ALSO!! My best friend ordered a scotch neat. They added ice. An honest mistake, but they apologized and said they would correct it. When they came back all they had done was remove the ice. It was still cold watered. Broke our hearts a bit.”

4.6Superb113 Reviews

“Don’t let the fact that it’s tucked away in the Dekalb market fool you, this is your new favorite neighborhood spot. I’m here several times a week. The staff is amazing and the vibes are always good. Especially Niya, Jess, Mike and Jay. The beer always is ice cold. The food is always on point (though I wish they’d add bbq sauce and honey mustard). Check it out. You won’t be sorry!”

“Went with some friends on the weekend and it was a lot of fun. First time playing shuffleboard but certainly not my last! Just started getting the hang of it toward the end but it was fun the whole time. Good drinks too! Especially the velvet cocktail ??”

4.6Superb110 Reviews

“Everything was delicious but the surprising best dish of the night was the mushroom crostini. You MUST get this. We also got the lump crab tagliatelle and the duck dish. I loved the spicy kick in the pasta and it had a generous serving of crab. Can’t wait to come back and try more dishes!”

4.5Superb254 Reviews

“Overall rating: 4.7Omg my pictures look terrible & definitely don’t do this place justice. Tucked behind a sushi spot, a speakeasy restaurant is a cute spot for a pre-appetizer with a friend.I went just to try the clarified pain killer and it was interesting. I don’t know if I liked it. Lol However, the truffle fries were very good & I was very surprised.I think I’d go back for a date and if I was in the area. Def not solo. Def not with friends. Not a place I would seek out, but still a cute spot. Cocktail bar casual.”

4.6Superb104 Reviews

“Overall rating: 4.8Such a great, chill spot that’s perfectly nestled in Bedstuy. I come here for the amazing happy hour and a bar crawl on a weekend date.If I lived in the area, I’d definitely become a regular here. Also love the names of the drinks. Very non-pretentious, yet not divey. Totally recommend if you live in the area or looking to try a new place.”

4.9Superb37 Reviews

“Where do I even start?! Sobre Masa is amazing. The quality of food is amongst the best I’ve had living in NYC for 13 years. The tortillas are actually the best I’ve had in most of the world. Everything we ate, we loved-guacamole, octopus, enchiladas, skirt steak, carnitas, flan…? The staff is amazing, warm and welcoming and the atmosphere of the restaurant is super chill. It’s right off the L which makes it super easy to get to. Will be going back ASAP.”

“- Love their lil happy hour situation! - Awesome service, so friendly - Frozen drinks are delishhh, they even let you mix em up! - Not mad at the hot dog + Zapps chips sitchu - Many seating nooks Will def return to this friendly neighborhood watering hole when we're back in the area :) Love it! Also - congrats on 5 years! woot woot! aint easy”

“We had an absolutely excellent meal at Fausto from start to finish. The little gem (wow!) and arancini starters were both absolutely excellent, with the focaccia only a slight notch below those two. All of the pastas were great with the Campanelle as the best we ordered. And the panna cotta dessert was very good. Excellent service, good atmosphere, and we would definitely return.”

4.5Superb211 Reviews

“Loved dining here. Came for brunch and got the 1/4 chicken and omelet as well as the ice cream for dessert. This place did not disappoint! The chicken sauce was so flavorful that we didn’t ask for ketchup on the side for our fries, we just dipped them right in, and it was delicious. The omelet was perfect in terms of flavor and texture, even the side salad it came with was wonderfully dressed. And to finish it all off we had some delicious ice cream. HIGHLY recommend”

4.5Superb205 Reviews

“Boutros is a neighborhood spot with middle eastern influences driving a really modern menu. You can't go wrong with much on the menu, though I recommend getting at least one of the mains and one of the dips each time you visit. The restaurant's high ceilings and purposeful decor give it a relaxed, modern vibe. They've recently updated their menu, introducing / evolving several items, and reducing their price points a bit, which makes the value much better (they previously had some higher price points shortly after the pandemic). The evolution in the menu definitely warrants a revisit if you haven't been in a bit, and I was happy to add it back into my neighborhood rotation.Come for: A great meal that hits across the appetizers, entrees, and desserts.Favorites: Miso Baba Ganoush, Kurobuta Pork Chop, Black Sea Bass, Awamat ‘Lebanese Doughnuts’Watch out: The restaurant can be darker if you're toward the back; would recommend sitting closer to the bar or front for more light (personal preference)”

4.5Superb203 Reviews

“It's very lively on a Friday & Saturday nights. The food was delicious, the smash burger was decent and a good choice in the neighborhood. Only issue is the wait. I've been here a number of times and hesitant to return due to the lengthy wait times for food & drinks, Be prepared to wait and get apologies to follow. Happens to my wife and I every time, even last night.”

“One of my fave bars from my old neighborhood! The staff is super friendly and great mixologist so all my cocktails were always delicious. The place is covered in plants, need I say more?! Pretty tasty bar food and the wallpaper in the bathroom has Biggie in its wallpaper. The perfect gem!”

4.5Superb191 Reviews

“We had a dinner for a group of 15 to celebrate the life of a relative who passed. The food was outstanding, some of the best in Brooklyn and I highly recommend it. The setting was lavish, beautiful and comfortable. The staff were hospitable and friendly. The owner was gracious, treated us like family. The warmth and love we felt to all that made our night possible we thank you so much. We will be returning again.”

“When I was visiting on a Saturday night I saw a DJ was playing music so I stepped in. I ordered a ginger-infused old fashioned and danced with a few friends for a bit. The dance floor is relatively small and I couldn't find a restroom inside (though there is one further in the complex). The dance crowd was quite varied.”

4.6Superb84 Reviews

“Chill, tropical bar with a great happy hour. Nachos are incredible!! Painkillers and frozen drinks in general are fire. Has a couple arcade games and a relaxing backyard for good weather. I highly recommend, especially for a day drinking spot, or for winding down after work.”

4.5Superb171 Reviews

“My absolute favorite in NYC. A low key, classy, modern cocktail bar. Excellent signature menu of thoughtful, well crafted cocktails. The focus is on the drink itself, no gimmicks or over the top presentations (they don't need it). My recommendation is, try something you think you won't like. You probably will. Haven't gone wrong yet.”

4.6Superb79 Reviews

“This is a really fun bar. The decor is unique and cool. They have an aquarium with an albino frog which was unexpected! The drinks are reasonably priced as well as the food. They also may have the best tater tots I’ve ever had. Stag is so friendly and back room that hosts events is nice. Favorite spot in south slope!”

4.5Superb159 Reviews

“Tacos are amazing — appear a bit pricy on the menu, but they are heaping with meat and good value for sure. Super delicious. Get steak and pork. Chicken is good too but those two are better.Wings are great as well, this is my go to spot for wings in the area. They’re super breaded and crunchy. Good value (for the world we live in) at $12 for 8 wings.Food comes out quickly, great service and speedy drinks, super chill bartenders.I have one super minor complaint, I normally come here around happy hour time but I came one night around maybe 11pm with some friends to get food and the music was insanely loud. Knocked one star off ‘atmosphere’ but doesn’t affect my overall 5* rating at all; my favorite bar in the area.”

4.5Superb156 Reviews

“Fantastic, expertly crafted cocktails, and fun themes! Really makes you feel like you're all part of some experience. If you like tiki you must go. The yellow tang and the angostura colada are two quintessential tiki drinks with fresh fruit and great flavor, highly recommend them.”

4.6Superb74 Reviews

“Great drinks and super affordable. I can't say this place is undiscovered cause it's always busy but it's such a gem. I love a tiki style drink. The pop up food was also good! The vibe is excellent. So cute and a fun place to hang.”

“A fantastic new addition to the neighborhood!!!I love everything about Bleu Nuk Bk. For starters, it's simple, elegant style with great attention to the nuanced detail of comfort go a long way. Minimalist yet padded bar stools are a key factor, gorgeous lighting, beautiful wall design, and rustic chic bar shelving with excellent glassware are just a few of the things that immediately elevated your experience. The staff is noticeably happy, which tells me it's well run by caring owners and great management. The menu is a beautifully curated mix of delicious local favors with a modern yet classic approach.Everything we tried was a taste sensation, made with great love. The mussels stood out in high regard for me. It was a nice appetizer portion, with full sized tender mussels which is a skill in itself, but the great surprise was how well this heavily garlic broth stood out. Garlic can be tricky, and is often the gross, prechop, often rancid, kind, and when I saw how much garlic was in this dish I was ready to be disappointed but to my great surprise it was one of the BEST, most well prepared, garlic forward broths I have ever had!!! It has to be fresh and it has to be added to the mix at the right time, and this chef knew exactly how to handle every ingredient. Just spectacular! My coconut rice chick pea was comforting but still light. My anti pea, nut, legume husband absolutely LOVED my dish and much to my surprise, he couldn't keep his fork out of my dish!. That's high praise!!His steak dish was so flavorful and expertly cooked, still soft, juicy med/rare which is rarely(see what I did there) accomplished on the thinner cuts. We loved everything about it.All the sides were bursting with flavors. Nice quantity to feel satisfied without feeling too full. The only suggestion would be a few additional wines to round out diverse pallets. We're so excited to have another great walk to restaurants in our growing food destination neighborhood! Enjoy!”

“Food was delicious had an Hamburguesa which was good, my daughter had birria nachos, which she loved and my husband had a carne asada quesadilla nd hes not a cheese lover but he couldn't stop eating it because it waa good and the carne asada tasted lile it was made on the grill.”

“We were looking for somewhere for craft beer at lunchtime. Couldn't find anywhere else open but the cafe side of this place served us excellent canned craft beer and tasty pastrami and brie sandwiches. The draft beer section opens late afternoon. Service with a smile, reasonably priced, chilled atmosphere.”

“This place has dark lighting and is very cozy. The bartender is extremely professional and friendly. I told him my taste and he made me a passion fruit daiquiri that was just what I wanted. There is also an outside sitting area. I enjoyed my time ”

“An intimate setting with a separated area for private dining. Great bar and drinks and house dj ?? ?? ??. Food was well done but small portions. Slider were a hit both beef and seafood options. ? fried fish got good reviews from the table as well as the house fries. The normal is fine but accent given to the house version should not be ignored. This place makes a great date ?, after work or hour stop,”

“Twofer-First visit: Cute bar with a patio. Perfectly lit so you're not tripping over stools or your own feet. Music is a tad too low for a bar but the little bit I can hear was good. It could be low due to the one JBL speaker they have. A cute spot for a date night or just to pop in and have a tasty treat. Cocktails range from super intricate with 50 million ingredients to extremely simple like a margarita. Not all drinks were listed on their online menu the day we popped in. We went big on our first visit and tried the Melted IceCream (on the receipt it's called Cafe con Leche) and the PadThaiHini.I enjoyed them both! The MIC has a delicious chocolate forward flavor and the top has a delicious crunchy topping of coconut flakes. The PTH has a beautiful spicy heat and a drool inducing savory scent (if u get heartburn cojelo con take it easy). I loved that heat however I do wish it had a tad but more of a peanut flavor coming through.Second visit: um what's going on how's it go from cocktail bedstuy to this. I was starting to think I was mad but I have the menu and ig/fb info for the name I know it by. Anyhow I re-entered this twilight zone because why not embrace the matrix. Arrived for hphr and sat in the patio, zero music. I got the blueberry margarita, I'm in love. I really was starting to think I'd never get a decent mixed drink around. Luckily, so far, this little gem consistently follows through.Overall I definitely will be a coming back especially if the drink menus get printed, are updated properly, and the drinks change with the seasons/events. Oh and if they upgrade their sound system (two more JBLs will do for the space:).”

“This place is incredible. Elevated Mexican cuisine with great decor, a nice mezcal heavy cocktail list and thoughtful, personal service. The appetizers were the star but everything was great. Gets going late since it seems to run a bit on Mexico City time!”

“Not sure why there's a "closed permanently" note on this page but it was open when I went a month ago and was delightful! Great drinks, best vibe. Was chill when the rest of Red Hook bars were slammed. Excellent hang, owners were incredibly nice. Wish this bar was my neighborhood local, I'd be here daily.”

“This is a cute bar on Franklin Ave in BK. I originally came for 95 South on a Tuesday but they were closed. So, I went to this spot two doors down. I could hear the music from outside bumping, but in a good way. I was like okayyy..they outside! They were having Karaoke Tuesdays and it was dope. I walked in and the vibe was nice with a good crowd. A gentleman gave me his seat and I proceeded to order the Dark and Stormy with JB, who turned our to be really chill. The drink was strong and on point. I had a couple more drinks. We sang happy birthday to the DJ. Harmonized with some ladies to old school classics and it was a vibe. Everyone was friendly and chill. The back area/outdoor is covered and cute. I remember coming here back in 2019 and the renos to the back make sense. All in all, I definitely recommend coming here for a good community vibe. I would also host events here. Definitely give it a shot!”

“First, Lee is an angel and may be the finest bartender in the five boroughs. Beyond that all I can provide is my honest reaction: I wanted to text my ex to invite her her so I could breakup again before she discovers this place because I want to keep her out as I am selfish and do not like to share nice things. There are a few great spots in this ‘hood and this stands out mostly because of the food and great staff. I wouldn’t even post this if I wasn’t about to move b/c as I said, I DO NOT LIKE TO SHARE MY FAV THINGS!”

“We got there just as the early bird time was ending, but they still let us get our orders in. $10 for a quality, juicy burger topped with a mustard sauce with minced pickles and a generous side of fries! Happy hour rocks!! We also got the shrimp cocktail, fried pickles, (both on the early bird menu) and the rigatoni. The portions might lean on the smaller side, but I thought it was perfect for sharing and getting a taste for multiple things. Great outdoor space and service was also nice--our waiter/waitress checked up on us a few times to make sure we had everything we needed. Got a cute post card at the end!”

“I’ve been wanting to come here for a while and finally got the chance. Cute but small place (luckily there’s outdoor seating) but the drinks are the star of the show. Lot of options to choose from but you can’t go wrong with anything. Pull up for happy hour because it does get busy in the nights. Looking forward to stopping by again!”

“I'll start by saying I'm somewhat of a bias reviewer because my first (blind) date with my now husband was at their previous location and the great cocktails and food kept us talking there all night ♥️ That said, we just had a lovely evening (6 years later) at their new (? not sure how long it's been) spot.We tried a variety of cocktails and all were perfection (hopefully you'll get Mikey as a bartender, he's a gem). My favorites were the Peach Puebla and the Monterey Daze, which has a nice kick. Their food is tasty and presented well. Don't miss the casava puffs, they definitely hit the right balance of not too heavy or light when you're having a cocktail or two.”

“Greatest BLT on Earth!!! I had it days ago and honestly it still haunts my dreams. I never thought I could feel this way about a BLT. I got the standard version with incredible sun dried tomato jam, but you can also pay $3 more to add heirloom tomato slices.Drink service was also solid, FWIW.”

“Great vibes and location; especially in the summer when you can sit outside. The food is excellent because it’s solid. The options are standard for a bar food with a few bonuses but nothing too innovative. My favorite is that it’s always good. I recommend getting a side of fries for the table (2-3p people) if you’re getting other food because the portion is large and most of the food comes with chips.”

“Eyval is a great addition to the Bushwick dining scene. A mix of small shareable dishes to larger entrees, there is something for everyone. I am not very familiar with Persian food, but the menu is very approachable and the staff is very friendly and armed with solid recommendations.Though the dishes are filling they aren't heavy. If you like lamb it is a must in any of it's forms (ribs, rack, kabob, all good)”

“It's quite vibey in here. I have been here twice. Once on a date with my lady, and the second time was with my bros.First time: We ordered the "chicken" parmesan sandwich, and it was uber salty. The server gave us another sandwich (vegan burger) with no issues. The only reason why I am not giving them 5 stars is due to the attitude of the servers. Their replies were short and they were somewhat unpleasant. We all have bad days, but you're in the hospitality industry. Go punch the air in the back, and come back out with a smile.Second time: We sat at the bar, and the bartender was very nice. My bros and I shared an appetizer that was like a loaded vegan nacho dish. It was very delicious, and the oyster mushrooms are something else smh. Also, the milkshakes are divine!Overall, the food here is some of the best vegan food I have ever had. I'll definitely be back in the near future.”

“Very good neighborhood spot with solid service and nice seating. Occasionally something isn't great (buratta and tomatoes) I had last time I was there, but with a diverse menu that pushes the bounds of what your neighborhood spot serves that's is bound to happen. “Been here for dinner once and tried brunch for the first time. The ambience is great, especially in the daytime, and both meals were delicious. I feel like the portion size for most dishes (maybe outside of the fish) are really good, and for what you are getting, the prices make sense. for brunch we got the soufflé pancake, the chicken karaage, and the hot honey gem salad. I usually don't like salads, but the hot honey salad with the yuzu vinaigrette is so good! The sobacha barley tea was also decent. My friend and I both had food left for leftovers.”

“Location: upscale yet casual, dress code is loose but nice. Great ambiance, low light dinner setting makes for a perfect evening date location. The added "secret" bar also adds to the allure.Food: absolutely fantastic. We had the foi gras, which was nutty and smooth (I know, it is a terrible thing, but when in a French restaurant, you have to seize the opportunity). The escargot was also great. The duck breast was perfectly cooked, and the orange reduction paired masterfully. My wife had the risotto, which she raved about. The wine selection is moderate but very well placed, with mostly French and European options.Service: attentive, cordial, and warm without being interruptive. A full house on a Saturday night but somehow never felt out of reach.Value: 100% will visit again and take out of town friends in. About $50 per person with drinks, it is a fine dining experience with the stuffy feel of city restaurants. It's definitely a gem of a place.”

“The drinks were really good. This place is near Barclays so it’s a great place to hang out before a concert. The bartender was really nice, but the host (or perhaps waiter?) seemed to be having a bad day and was somewhat grumpy. I would still go again though!”

“I’ve been here three times now (once for a quick office event coffee+bagel pickup and twice for happy hour outdoor seating). I prefer the sidewalk seating over the backyard, but there isn’t always service for the front sidewalk (which isn’t too big of a problem). While the vibes are nice and worth visiting itself (bc they host events on occasional evenings which I look forward to going to), the food imo is nothing to rave about. Nice casual food serving as a local neighborhood joint. Would definitely come again.”

“Finally visited after seeing the bottles in Brooklyn bars. The drinks were great. I’m not a big whiskey drinker but the American whiskey was so sweet and smooth. The tour was definitely worth it. “My partner and I rented the backroom of Crystal Lake Brooklyn to host a welcoming party the night before our wedding. It was a perfect space for us and our 75 guests. The staff were all an absolute pleasure to work with and made sure we had everything we needed. The reasonable rental fee and food/drink minimum made this place an incredible deal, especially for Williamsburg which can be very pricy. Highly recommend for an event or just to stop in for a quick drink when you're in the neighborhood.”

“I enjoy this place for brunch very much, it’s literally located on a boat so if aware if you can get seasick easily! Everything I got was amazing, the oysters were small but sweet and flavorful. The crudo sea beam was very appetizing and refreshing because of it’s citrusy taste along with some herb and tomatillo. The hash browns was well cooked and just perfect and you can pair with the steelhead caviar, sour cream and pickled onions and transcend the flavor to the next level. The lobster roll was buttery and surprising with a generous amount of lobster! I added the leftover caviar on top of it and it’s full of seafood umami flavor. At the end, I had the key lime mousse and the gateau, and the gateau was a delicious crumbly chocolaty cake/cookie mixture, I couldn’t finish it because I was too full but I wish I could have.”

“I was looking for healthy food options and stumbled upon this place & I have zero regrets! They have so many healthy food options that deciding what to get was the only issue haha I got the Parmesan truffle fries, and they were incredible, crispy and the perfect flavor. I don't usually do a sauce but my waitress recommended the chipotle mayo, which I was unsure about, but I assure you it's the perfect combo. My chicken was cooked perfectly, veggies were delicious. All the staff was nice and helpful. I sat inside but they also have nice outdoor seating. Will definitely be back!”

“They have a backyard which is wonderful for outdoors dining. I chose to come here on a Saturday evening with some friends. There’s about six seats in the backyard and they have about 8 to 10 tables in the restaurant itself. The host set us down immediately, just making sure that table was clean and ready for us. I have to say big props for serving stuff for serving during covid times and as soon as we sat down offered us some insect repellent for the bugs around. They also had hand sanitizer on every table. The space itself is very lovely and laid it feels like you’re in someone’s private backyard and they put up some lights and umbrellas for the heat.On to the food and drinks. we tried the st Lawrence and the garter snake as well as the watermelon supernova and deveraux spritz. I would recommend all of them depending on your tastes, they were well made and mixed.I loved the cornbread - very buttery, and the Mac and cheese - they use pesto! So delish!I also loved the green beans they add in an Asian sauce and it's divine. Would also recommend the brownie dessert very well made. I didn't really think much of my burger, I would probably recommend to get the second patty as well because it is on the smaller side but it is tasty. So overall I would recommend this place for drinks and apps and of course the necessary outdoor seating in the summer :”

“If you're looking for a restaurant that offers delicious cocktails, fresh oysters, and a variety of dinner options, this is the place to be! The standout feature of this restaurant is definitely their signature cocktails and wine offerings. They're expertly crafted and curated and made by a great bartending staff. In addition to the drinks, the oysters are a must-try! They're served ice cold and are the perfect appetizer to start your meal. The dinner options are equally as good, with a variety options and not to mention their dessert! We love the charcuterie plate and hummus along with the rigatoni for dinner. But what truly sets this restaurant apart is their jazz night on Thursday nights - the atmosphere is lively and upbeat, making for an awesome dining experience. Finally, a special shoutout to Hallie, who is a true gem. “An absolute gem of a place, I'm so glad it's in NYC. Live music, good food, great ambience. Narrow but lively space. This is one of those places that reminds you why it's so special to live in (or visit) NYC. My issue is the staff can be a little controlling and on edge. They should relax, let things flow. Demanding credit cards when putting in an order, telling people where to sit when the place is empty, it's a little much. Also, QR codes make it hard to browse a menu. All in all a great, great place.”

“Enjoyed a lovely dinner tonight at Della - a great little spot in Prospect Park Brooklyn that sits in a beautiful residential neighborhood. With outdoor dining options and a lovely cozy bar area - it’s the perfect ‘neighborhood’ place to enjoy a drink (or more), some really thoughtful cuisine - in a relaxed environment. The farro salad was delicious with small manchego cheese bits in it, and the salmon was cooked perfectly with a creamy mash below and perfectly sautéed grape tomato halves. All paired with a light Verdicchio dei Castelli recommended by Lisa washed it down perfectly. Yum! To finish - the pairing of the key lime pudding with crumble below and the light chocolate mousse with a simple whipped cream dollop hit the spot. Didn’t think to ask about an after dinner drink…next time!A worthwhile spot to return to! The garden terrace area in the back is really cute - and rumor has it they’re making more improvements inside and out!Vegetarian options: Salads worthwhile!!!Kid-friendliness: Kids menu items available. Coming back for grilled cheese (challah bread!)Wheelchair accessibility: Slight small ¼ step - but front outside dining also possible.Dietary restrictions: Will accommodate as necessary.”

“For starters the first drinks were very traditional Japanese cocktails. They were Hakutake Shiro & Aka Kirishima - they ask you if you would like it neat or on the rocks etc. The second drinks were highballs which is Suntory Toki whisky.. club soda.. and your choice of flavor. We got the watermelon & pineapple which were very refreshing & comes with a piece of fruit as well, but the alcohol is very light. The staff was very attentive and welcoming. Very secluded place to have a drink.”

“The best cocktail bar in Williamsburg, perhaps in NYC. Every drink here is masterful. You truly can’t order wrong. As long as you enjoy an alcohol-forward cocktail, you’ll be in for a treat. The gin and tonics allow you to dilute on your own, the seasonal rotations are always an exciting shake-up, and the snacks are always *chefs kiss*.We’re local and here at least 1x every two weeks and on an especially celebratory (or laborious) week, 1-2 times. If you’re going for hot cider or a hot toddy in a cute gingerbread cup like the winter menu pictures show, make sure to call ahead & confirm. I went in early December & they weren’t serving it (yet). It was very confusing.Another time, the bartender was a tad too creepy for me & my friend. But other than those two occasions, I enjoyed my time.
