I loved the kaga milk punch, shishitorita and the unami in kenmare.Dishes are a fusion of Japanese flavors in Italian style dishes, such as the sticky rice arancini served on a Japanese curry sauce. Other menu highlights were the tuna tartare, hamachi collar, truffle carbonara, rigatoni, and the steak.Dont miss the yakult soft serve for dessert!Staff were very friendly and helpful with recommendations. We were seated in a back room which felt private with so much space on the large tables.“

“We came across this restaurant from a viral social post and didnt have any expectations honestly. The food was EXCELLENT and it had been a while since we’ve said that about a trending restaurant in NYC. We started with the wings that were some of the best wings I’ve ever had ( they serve it piping with a side of soaked towels to wash your hands) and the bone marrow was OUT OF THIS WORLD. Served on the bone with a side of buttery toast to place the marrow on and a delicious onion jam that sealed the deal. Then we had their famous burger with bacon and egg and it did not disappoint and a shaved prime rib that was AMAZING with a side of bacon Mac and cheese (we came hungry lol). Finished with the chocolate cream pie and key lime pie that sent us. Now the food was amazing but I have to say our server Ariana was what made our overall experience a 10/10. She was the BEST server we have experienced in a long time. She was so friendly, outgoing, and perfectly attentive and really made our night extra special to be honest. WE WILL BE BACK!“

“Shuka has been on our radar for ages, especially being huge fans of their sister joint, Shukette. So, we finally decided to swing by while in the area, and while it was good, it didn't quite blow us away like we'd hoped. Personally, I'm still team Shukette all the way! The inside back dining room is super chic with those ceiling lights, but the acoustics can be a bit much – it gets loud in there, and we found ourselves practically yelling depending on how packed it was. But hey, that didn't stop us from enjoying a killer Za’atar martini and some decent wine, even if it did cost us a pretty penny. We stuck to glasses since the bottle prices were just... weird. Our waiter, bless his heart, was an absolute gem – full of energy and seriously clued in on the menu. We asked him for the must-haves, and we went all in on his recommendations. Feta pistachio dip, fried halloumi, carrots, cauliflower, chicken shawarma, lamb merguez – we tried it all! The cauliflower was a real standout with its warm spices and bright citrus/sweet pops. The real star though was the chicken shawarma and lamb Merguez. Pure perfection – juicy and bursting with flavor. But alas, not everything hit the mark. The feta pistachio dip was decent, but it tasted more like a funky Gorgonzola than the tangy feta we were craving. And those carrots? Good, but they needed more spice, a crunch for texture, and a bit more consistency in every bite. Oh, and don't get me started on the pita – it was soft, sure, but unfortunately a bit too dry for my liking. But hey, the team made up for it with a sweet surprise – a free dessert! And let me tell you, nothing beats a killer coffee ice cream with chocolate. So yeah, while Shuka didn't quite earn a permanent spot in our hearts, we're glad we gave it a whirl. Who knows, we might just pop in again if we're in the neighborhood.“

“OMG! I love this place. I am craving it right now as I write this review.Food:If I could live off of Adjaruli Khachapuri I would. A traditional dish that is open-faced khachapuri with a blended cheese, topped with raw egg. The egg is mixed into the cheese tableside. SOOOO GOOOOD!!!! It was so good that I had one as an appetizer and one for dinner. I also enjoyed Mushroom Khinkali (Georgian Dumplings) - another delicious dish. Lastly, I had one of their spreads - Spinach Pkhali: Spinach, walnut paste, onion, garlic, coriander and topped with Pomegranate Seeds. Super fresh and delicious.Drinks:For cocktails, we had a Sassy Tangarine: Cachaca, Cointreau, fresh lime juice, tangerine, and orange bitters and an Espresso Mama: A rich and indulgent chilled espresso cocktail with Georgian Brandy, Mr. Black, fresh espresso and simple syrup. And then with dinner, I had a flight of their famous wines - I had the Amber Wine Flight - Three different amber wine styles from different grape varieties.Service:The service was super friendly, helpful, and attentive. We sat at the bar and had a great time.Vibe:I loved sitting at the bar. I took a tour around the restaurant and if I sat at a table, I would probably want to sit in the front room or at the bar. This was a great find and I would highly recommend a visit.Date of Visit: 16 March 2024“

The food was tasty, but not crazy to wait for delays. However, the place is cute if you don’t mind those details. Some people of the staff, great, others a little snobby and not friendly. Extremely loud place too, if you like to have a conversation, it’s not the kind of place I would recommend. You should try it at least once to find out tho, maybe it’s fine for you. “We went last Sunday night for a family dinner. We ordered White bean Hummus, Hamachi and Tuna appetizers(tiny portions), Gruyère fritters as starters. Can’t remember what else. Everything was delicious. We ordered pork Katsu and the citrus marinated chicken, Gnocchi w Duck Ragu for dinner which were also well prepared and accompaniments were flavorful. Part of our dinner was the charred octopus appetizer. This dish was quite overcooked and chewy. The sauce on the side was the only way we got through the plate. In retrospect we should have sent the item back as it was an expensive selection but we did not want to be rude. This was also unexpected as our other choices were tasty so we did not know how to deal with this miss. All in all this dish was a disappointment. Staff was friendly, vibe was nice and the restaurant was quite full on a Sunday evening. We noticed a gentleman watching over the dining room and I am guessing that was to make sure patrons were either well taken care of or not over staying.“

“Top 2 sushi restaurant around flatiron. More authentic sushi experience with a unique menus and seasonal selection. Omakase by T O W A - I didn’t “W” in the case of my photos. I was back in town for business and was lucky enough to walk in during looting rain. Overall Would eat here again.“

“I went to the grill with my fiancé and friends after he proposed to celebrate. It's truly an elevated dining experience that makes the night special. The women's restroom has a lounge with beautiful vanity mirrors. The pasta a la presse was a highlight of the night because it was delicious but also because it was prepared table side with an explanation of its origin. The bread for the table had a lot of variety and was delicious. For my entree I had the lobster which was beautiful and tasted divine. The baked Alaska is a must for dessert since it's set ablaze at the table! If you're having trouble making a reservation we were able to secure ours with the Dorsa app.“

“We came in last Thursday night for some pre dinner drinks while on vacation and we're so glad we found this spot! Our trip was drink/food focused and the bartenders here did not disappoint. My husband and our friend had a "Ramos Gin Fizz", (which was literally like the best cocktail I have ever tasted), I would have had one myself but I was already three deep into the Cucumber Mint Collins (which was also delicious)! There was a great live band playing and it was just what we needed after not being in the city for so long. Can't wait to come back!! Did I mention the bartenders were awesome? (It needed to be said twice).“

“Ate at Chama Mama in the Upper West side last January at a friend's recommendation, and it was my first time tasting Georgian Cuisine. It was great! I got the basic Khachapuri and the Khinkali (Georgian dumplings), and both came in big servings. They were both delicious as well, and the person at the counter also shared how to eat the dishes the traditional Georgian way. Would highly recommend!“

“Everyone here went above and beyond. Hostess accommodated my party of 5 when they were fully packed, our server recommended all the best plates and drinks, and the ambiance was immaculate with the crowd enjoying their food and company. Their interior was also spot on with the disco chill vibe they were trying to set. All the food came out to our table fairly quickly and also got devoured fairly quickly lol. 10/10 recommend reserving a time to eat here!!!“

“Before I even lived in the neighborhood Jajaja was easily one of my favorite restaurants in NYC. I have brought so many friends here because it is perfect from anywhere to a date night to a chill lunch/dinner to catch up with friends. Their cocktails are amazing especially their version of an espresso martini. All of the staff is so friendly and always make sure you're taken care of at all times. On top of everything and most importantly the food is AMAZING. Although I am not vegan anymore, I still can call this my favorite restaurant because they do everything on their menu so well and it's rare in my experience where vegan food is indistinguishable from non-plant based food and my favorite is the enchiladas mole. Highly recommend!“

“We did not get any food but I’m sure it’s amazing. The service and atmosphere in this place is off the charts awesome. Kitty is the absolute best. We walked in without a reservation and they got us in right away and everyone was so helpful finding us a drink that we would like. Their menu is huge so that was a big help. This is a must stop for anyone that loves cool Polynesian bars, (they also talk about how they’re trying to build on the experience of tiki, and acknowledge that tiki is appropriated and they are trying to improve and pay homage to it). I love this place and will definitely be back very soon hopefully!Dietary restrictions: They have a super awesome “key” system to let you know of alcohol strength and different allergens in all cocktails and food.“

The plants and rainforest aesthetic was neat.Parking: There is street parking but also a parking garage on that block.Kid-friendliness: Not a place for kids“
