We also had the fried cauliflower, saag burrata side and duck for main dish. For dessert we ordered silvana, which is so delicate with many layers of flavors: airy meringue, coffee cream, pistachios.

“The atmosphere was classy and inviting, and the food was delicious. My friend and I had the calamari, baked clams, chicken parmesan, and an eggplant dish, and everything was really good.
The cocktails were superb! I hardly ever drink, and mine was just right. The service was also excellent—the waiters were attentive and on point throughout the entire meal.
I live in the neighborhood, so I’ll definitely be ordering takeout and stopping by again for dinner or maybe brunch. It’s a great neighborhood spot, and I highly recommend it!“

“Leaving 4 stars only because I’m a local and it’s usually my favorite spot for grabbing intimate drinks and oysters with friends/dates. It’s typically really ambiant and lovely and feels like an old speakeasy. However, something was off with service last night; went here with my date and we planned to order oysters and cocktails. A (bartender/server?) was unnecessarily unkind to my date. We had requested change seating and he simply sat down and he asked me one question about how I’ve been and she cut him off, telling us to scan QR code and that she would give us one second. If the tone hadn’t been so sharp, we might have stayed anyways. We left right then without ordering anything because it wasn’t an intimate, enjoyable vibe at that point and with the prices being so high, the whole point is the atmosphere.“

“One of the great cocktail bars in Astoria. It's my go to spot. I've been there at least a dozen times. I'm a hospitality professional for 25 years in 3 Michelin level dining and as an owner. Needless to say I know a good bar program. Keep up the good work crew. Ownership still tends the bar on Saturday.“

“My wife and I have been here on several occasions, and the food, cocktails, and great service never disappoints!

We enjoy coming to Bar Dalia so much that we reached out to see if we could have a small gathering here to celebrate our daughter's 6 month birthday with close friends and family. Bryan responded to our request with such a warm, welcoming, and accommodating response, it really encouraged us compared to some of the other places we had inquired with. We had our private event last Saturday, and it was absolutely amazing. They were so easy to work with, the appetizers we chose were a hit with the guests, and even though we probably overstayed our time limit, they never made us feel rushed to leave or as though we were a burden. That was awesome, and Bar Dalia remains one of our favorite go to locations to enjoy a nice evening out!“

The handmade pasta was absolutely incredible; fresh, perfectly textured, and the kind of pasta you can immediately tell is made in-house with care. And the Neapolitan pizza? Easily one of the best I’ve had in NYC. Light, airy crust with that perfect char and high-quality ingredients that speak for themselves. The whole atmosphere felt warm, cozy, and authentically Italian without trying too hard. Absolutely a neighborhood gem!“

“Pasta, al dente. Sauce, out of this world. Vibes, off the charts. Il Nonno is such a breath of fresh (basil-filled) air. Last night, I stopped in with my friends for dinner and --more than once--after one side of the table tried a dish and implored the other to try, our eyes met in total food joy. "Oh my gah...this is SO good" was uttered too many times to count. Now let's get to the nitty, gritty. Our picks: Porcini ravioli (homemade pasta, phenomenal) Seafood risotto (menu says it's in a light tomato sauce. Definitely light, but it's far more flavorful than what I consider "light tomato sauce") Pasta Bolognese (another handmade wonder, lusciously complex sauce). Pasta Siciliana this one has eggplant and ricotta in a ROBUST sauce. Squid Ink Seafood Pasta was out of control. Like I need more savory adjectives in my life to describe this adequately. Apps. We loved all equally, but I mean calamari fritti is a no-brainer here and I literally had to slap the bread out of one friend's hand because she'd say she was full but relentlessly dipped more and more bread into the white wine mussels broth! The tuna carpaccio was almost too pretty to eat buuuut...we scarfed it down. Finally, Dessert. Chocolate cake (go with me here...you could smell the warm chocolate as it approached the table, incredible). Tiramisu, not too sweet, not too "damp"...perfection. And quite possibly even better than the banging food, we were lucky enough to chat up the delightful owner who introduced us to the chef (who happened to come from a VERY well-known Italian restaurant in Manhattan)! And all of the culinary magic instantly made sense. Don't walk. Don't run. Teleport to this place. Your taste buds will love you for it.“

“I feel like it’s a cozy spot with 2 bathrooms and a backyard space. Has a good amount of seating. Bartender is super kind and chill. Just a run of the mill vibe. Crowd is very mid to be very honest but that’s subjective.

“A very beautiful space with cozy sofas, interior and light. The food wasn’t something crazy about: we took potatoes, parsnip soup, and tiramisu latte, they were okay. The place by itself was a little bit dirty on the floor, and some details, as a server that didn’t know that tiramisu includes alcohol in a recipe, and the fact that the same coffee was served in different cups, brought a feeling of mess, however I want to come back for lazy mornings atmosphere.
We parked right near the main entrance, however it’s under construction zone now.“
