Came in on a whim- I really needed food and really needed a place to sit for a bit.
I came in and was greeted with such lovely service!
I got the Cemitas with breaded chicken and WOW!!! The entire sandwich was constructed to perfection with the right amount of all the ingredients. Very balanced sandwich. And the workers were all so kind!!! I really enjoyed my meal, the service, the music - everything!

And he told me he makes everything fresh! He let me try his soup today- phenomenal flavor 👏🏻
And he makes his own sauces and salsa's!“

“If you love all things Birria, then this is the place for you! I’ve tried the Williamsburg location prior to this one, so I was very excited when they opened this location! I’ve tried them several times here in Astoria and it’s delicious every time! Amazing quality control and flavor! I’ve also had the pleasure meeting the owner, and the staff are such nice and friendly people. Worth the try!“

“Edit: I reduced my review from 5 to 4 stars. I’ve noticed in the last several months, the portions have been noticeably reduced. The seitan burrito is ~20% smaller than it used to be. Still very tasty, but the portions are now a little disappointing in comparison.

“I love this store so much. the young girl that was serving me was the most enthusiastic amazing worker I have ever met. after a long day at home and struggling with work at college and feeling stressed out the last thing I wanted to do was deal with dumb people, and this girl didn't make me feel like I was. she was quick with her service and made my experience 10x better. “Was getting my nails done at Lilly Artistry Studio stopped by to grab some tacos for me and my boyfriend. We had their their hibiscus juice delicious, homemade tortillas chicken, pork, steak, shrimp. Everything was so flavorful tasted, everything tasted fresh seasoned to perfection. “I ordered catering from Hot Peppers and it was a hit with everyone! Every single person asked where I got the food from and everyone wants to order from Hot Peppers for their parties! The service was amazing. All the food was securely packed inside quality aluminum trays and containers. They even gave me a plastic crate to make sure nothing spills. They placed a plastic garbage bag in the trunk, to make sure the car is protected if any spills happen. The food was extremely fresh and hot! Despite the fact that I was an hour late for pick up! I was truly impressed by Hot Peppers and their incredible catering service. This will be my Go-To for Halal Mexican Catering! Thank you for the amazing food and freshness of every item! Every single person at my party was very impressed, and most are hard to please. So thats a huge win, in my opinion.“

The wait time is lowkey verryy long though. 30-40 minutes. Gonna try to call my order in next time but I think there will still be a wait.“

“If you know, you know. This deli is my go-to spot for tacos. Every single time I go, I get the cecina asada (steak) quesadillas ( it’s crunchy tacos) and it never disappoints. The flavor is always on point, seasoned perfectly, and cooked just right. If you go, make sure you get the green sauce i recommend you call before you go so it’s ready!“
