“Taco Tuesdays are great value at $3 or $4 a taco. My fave one is chicharron - very crispy and a nice dollop of guac on top. However, I wasn’t impressed with their al pastor or fish tacos. I was also confused because the outdoor signage and website indicate that guac is $7 all day on Tuesdays but my waitress told me it is only during HH.“

“Just wow! Having been to Taqueria Ramirez, I already knew the tacos at Carnitas Ramirez weren’t going to let me down. And they certainly didn’t! Every taco I had was outstanding. The meat was incredibly tender and flavorful, and the corn tortillas were top notch. There’s also a nice assortment of salsas and toppings at a DIY counter so you can dress them up however you like. Everyone was super friendly too. Absolutely worth the trip, and I can’t wait to return.“

“It was a surprise to find this little restaurant in Harlem. There were no tables, and we took the last two seats at the bar. While we waited, I surprisingly felt at home. The aroma of the food, the care with which Karina prepared each of the dishes, and the kindness and joy they served us. By the time our table was ready, we didn't want to take it anymore; we ate much more than we planned to order because we didn't want to miss out on their delicious food. Nice atmosphere under natural light from skylight with low noise to comfortably chat and hear everyone from one end of the table to the other. We started with some guacamole which was super fresh and delicious. I had the Enmoladas Xico: 3 chicken enchiladas in a smokey and deeply flavorful mole sauce. Note that the food here is based on the cuisines of two Mexican states in the southern and central western parts of Mexico: Oaxaca and Jalisco.
