“If you guys are interested in a very great Bacon, Egg & Cheese Sandwich for breakfast, NEJ Josefina’s is the best place to visit. $6.00 for a sandwich like this is not bad at all.
As a resident in the Elmhurst neighborhood, my family and I have been fighting a lot to find a great location for breakfast and lunch. Until my family members told us about this place telling me that their Bacon, Egg & Cheese Sandwiches are really good. In the block by where I live, there is a deli close to the Elmhurst Avenue Subway Station, and their sandwiches aren’t that great. According to a store employee, she told us that a breakfast sandwich like this costs you $8.00 each. And when she told us that, that’s when we said no. Not because we’re not interested, it’s because their sandwiches aren’t too great.
In my personal experience, I’ve tried their Carne Asada Quesadilla Combo. I have to say, they are so good. I like the fact that they not only make you a quesadilla, but they also include rice and beans and a canned soda priced at $12.79. A little bit expensive but it’s worth it. I still recommend this place. But the only thing that is not great is that the space is so small that you can’t even go through if you need to grab other things to buy while your food is being prepared.
I would definitely recommend coming to this place.“

“This post is somewhat overdue. I have eaten here a many times already, i especially come here for Chiles rellenos, my favorite dish. Over the years i have seen Rueben give us the best customer service. I have a faint memory of people but i have attached his face to visiting Juquila. I would just add that i am not a fan of modern times and i hope Juquila doesn't get more modern. I loved the way it used to be, it felt like being in Grandma's kitchen.“

“E x c e l l e n t e! This place has become one of the top two mexicano places to eat in Elmhurst, which Elmhurst being the nyc capital of truly good and authentic food, is a lot to say. Their chalupas are amazing. I could eat them everyday if it wasn't because they are fried tortillas. Their concha and cuernos are truly great. I've had tacos the other day and they were euqay amazing. I tried a shrimp tostada and to my delight, it was really good even thought I am not a big fan of mayo sauces.“

“Cash only! I love this deli restaurant. They have seating indoors and tables outside if you ask. Portions are excellent and flavors are fantastic. I love how they have so many creative combinations for their tortas and burritos, and tons of different meat options. The gorditas are an absolute favorite here and the pozole is soooooo good - it’ll power you through the chilly days for sure. Tacos made with fresh tortillas, and if you order a large drink it’s literally a quart. If you’re into imported sodas and snacks too, they have a lot to choose from. We’re still working on eating our way through the menu and I’m having so much fun doing so.“

“Very good spot, there may be a lot of Mexican restaurants but this is my go to spot not only because its close to me but the food is delicious and I would say the portion in good too, you get the regular sized tacos not those mini tacos you get in most places that barely satisfy your hunger/cravings. Only small flaw is they should accept debit/credit, there are times when they do and don't but overall very good restaurant.“

“Got a chorizo burrito and it was pretty good. The flavor was pretty good. It wasn’t too salty. The burrito was grilled on top of cheese and then wrapped with the fillings. The plating was great even for takeout. The green sauce was spicy and delicious.
The restaurant was clean. The music was a bit loud. The server was very friendly.“
