9 Best Burger Restaurants in Elmhurst

“I noticed Smashburger recently went through a rebranding, so I decided to give it another shot. We had some not-so-great experiences at this location years ago, which kept us from coming back—but after seeing the updated menu featured by YouTuber King Schratz, we figured it was worth trying again. I’m glad we did, because it did not disappoint.

The food and service were both excellent and fast, and the restaurant itself was clean and welcoming. The staff was friendly across the board, and Ashley at the register really stood out—she gave great recommendations and helped us choose some items.

Our order included the BBQ Bacon Burger, Smash Fries, Smash Tots, a chili cheese big hot dog, and milkshakes. Everything came out quickly, and the team even brought the food to our table. The Smash Fries and Tots were delicious , with a flavorful garlic, herb, and olive oil seasoning. The burgers were large, juicy, and had that perfect crispy crust you want from a smash burger.

The milkshakes were also a highlight. Made with Häagen-Dazs ice cream, they were rich but still easy to drink. The only downside is that the caramel flavor has been discontinued. I really hope they bring it back because it was a favorite.

Overall, this visit completely changed my impression of this location. Definitely worth checking out.“

“Wonderful little spot. The food was delicious and the staff very attentive and professional. There aren't many spots in the area where the menu is full of variety especially breakfast. Their egg white omelette is delicious and their fresh coffee must try.
Be prepared to wait the line is long.“

“Ordered a pizza and soda from this place. They forgot our soda, but I didn't really care since I already have beverages at home, so I told the delivery man not to worry about it. Next thing I know, he comes back with the soda anyway. That guy deserves a raise!“

El perro hawaiano is my go to order, it is absolutely delicious ! there is another option of perro hawaiano grande (big), the hamburguesa is your typical colombian burger. they’re taste is so unique, & i would always recommend prontito to someone wanting Colombian fast food. I always place my orders through uber eats and I love that they deliver to flushing and that I always receive it fresh, so shout out to the delivery people !“

“Very good spot, there may be a lot of Mexican restaurants but this is my go to spot not only because its close to me but the food is delicious and I would say the portion in good too, you get the regular sized tacos not those mini tacos you get in most places that barely satisfy your hunger/cravings. Only small flaw is they should accept debit/credit, there are times when they do and don't but overall very good restaurant.“
