“Absolutely delicious food!“

“My husband and I recently started ordering food from Mister Burrito Loco, and it had instantly become our favorite spots for Mexican food. They have been on point all the times we have ordered, and the delivery is always on time as well. The food is absolutely delicious! We especially love their crispy wraps. My brother came from out of town, and also enjoyed their food as well. I cannot recommend this place enough! Love it.“

“Walking distance from subway. Across the street from a nice park. Somewhat manageable paid street parking. Amazing staff and service. Very cozy with only 2 tables and a counter. Very extended menu, you will definitely find something you like, vegan, vegetarian, or meats. Lunch specials are all great. Fast service. I'm getting lunch there at least 3 times a week, every week. Go try it and thank me later.

“No frills spot with one of the most flavorful veggie tacos I have had in a while. I’m from California, so that says a lot! Make sure to ask for black beans.

They also serve fresh juice that they make to order.

“I personally been ordering from this truck for years! They also deliver! The food was always delicious and the guys are kind. No they don’t speak English and no they are not racist. Sunnyside is a very diverse neighborhood and you see all kinds of people ordering from them.“

“Food was mad dope, got a chorizo burrito that made me see god. You will leave fed and happy. The waitress was very nice and helpful with giving recommendations for dinner and I definitely do not know her but I think her name was Joanna pic related: this was my face after eating the burrito followed by a quinoa bowl“

“It was a surprise to find this little restaurant in Harlem. There were no tables, and we took the last two seats at the bar. While we waited, I surprisingly felt at home. The aroma of the food, the care with which Karina prepared each of the dishes, and the kindness and joy they served us. By the time our table was ready, we didn't want to take it anymore; we ate much more than we planned to order because we didn't want to miss out on their delicious food. I have dietary restrictions, and I was surprised to see that everything from the exquisite tortillas to the delicious tres leches dessert was prepared right there, gluten-free and preservative-free. “Truly the greatest dining experience you can have in the area. The food is incredible, the atmosphere is so welcoming and inviting, you’ll never want to leave. If you get a chance, Monica is also the best part of the whole experience. She made our night a 10 out of 10 to 11. Might have to come on a weekly basis moving forward.“

“The pork chop was succulent and had the most amazing spice combination. The barbacoa was the best I have ever had. Not a fan of the mezcal, but I gave it a try. Other more common drinks looked great with a good pour. Good vibe and open late with a super friendly staff!“

“Just wow! Having been to Taqueria Ramirez, I already knew the tacos at Carnitas Ramirez weren’t going to let me down. And they certainly didn’t! Every taco I had was outstanding. The meat was incredibly tender and flavorful, and the corn tortillas were top notch. There’s also a nice assortment of salsas and toppings at a DIY counter so you can dress them up however you like. Everyone was super friendly too. Absolutely worth the trip, and I can’t wait to return.“

“Taqueria on 10th was honestly an incredible dining experience! The food was absolutely amazing, authentic, flavorful, and you could immediately tell that the quality of the ingredients was top-notch. We ordered the carnitas tacos, steak tacos, nachos, elote, and churros, and everything was delicious. The tacos were packed with flavor, the nachos were loaded and perfectly balanced, and the churros were the perfect way to finish the meal.

The margaritas were INSANE and definitely some of the best we’ve had in NYC. A huge shoutout to Cesar, our bartender, for making such amazing drinks!

But what really made our experience stand out was the service. Louis, our server, was phenomenal—so attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely made us feel so welcomed throughout the entire meal. Excellent service can make such a difference, and Louis truly went above and beyond.

Between the incredible food, amazing margaritas, beautiful atmosphere, and outstanding service, Taqueria on 10th is absolutely worth visiting if you’re in Hudson Yards. We will definitely be back!“

“lovely hidden gem on Avenue A between 13th and 14th streets. The place is family owned and operated and the food is to do for. It is reasonably priced, I often find myself trying to figure out if I want a tamale or a shredded beef or pork taco.“

“We were a table of 8 enjoying a late brunch. Lovely setting, gracious service, delicious food and cocktails. Nice atmosphere under natural light from skylight with low noise to comfortably chat and hear everyone from one end of the table to the other. We started with some guacamole which was super fresh and delicious. I had the Enmoladas Xico: 3 chicken enchiladas in a smokey and deeply flavorful mole sauce. And finally, the beautifully prepared desserts: a coconut flan, tres leches cake with toasted meringue, and an elote corn cake with caramel sauce and ice cream. We were blown away.“

Note that the food here is based on the cuisines of two Mexican states in the southern and central western parts of Mexico: Oaxaca and Jalisco. Two friends, my wife, and I really loved the tuna tostados, truffle esquites (street corn), arrachera, veggie tacos, and churros that were all part of the Power Lunch menu. We also enjoyed their Sangria and Gringo drinks. Our server, Sharon, was very frinedly and knew the menu well. My only minor nit was that she asked us how our appetizers were before we had even touched them. I highly recommend Kahlo to people who like flavorful food and would like to try a different kind of Mexican food.“
