A friendly guy with smiles who walked me thru his fav’s - which I asked for. “My go to birria spot!! Found it here at 36th ave near my school. A family run restaurant with a variety of authentic Mexican foods that are fairly cheap compared to other spots. The atmosphere is subtle and comforting; cleanliness is not bad— but also not perfect. The service is very nice and the food is always made fresh. A nice hidden-in-the-wall type of spot.“

“I grabbed the quesadilla and it was fenomenal. I chose chicken as the meat and it was flavorful, juicy, and some of the best I’ve had. A lot of flavor and ingredients packed into one quesadilla. It’s not the standard picture of what a quesadilla may look like but was much more flavorful so I did not mind. As someone who grew up in the Latino culture this is very authentic! The workers were very friendly and got my order perfectly even after I changed a few ingredients. 10/10 would recommend. (I went back for seconds)“

“I went here and ordered nachos which consisted of homemade tortilla chips, melted with cheese, in a bed of black beans puree, topped with crema, guacamole and pico de gallo (and shrimps=one of the options to choose from) and I really loved it. “The service and the food is really good, the lady in the front make sure I have everything, utensils and sauces. I have to mention that i went back to get food last week and the man who was taking orders don't speak English and it was difficult to communicate with him, the loud music make it even worse I think, the man was drunk. The service is usually outstanding just that day it was a horrible experience.“

A couple dollars more than what you get charged elsewhere but it's so worth it because the taco never falls apart, which can be hard with Birria.
