“Good food! Loved the grilled octopus and branzino -- a must try! Lobster pasta was tasty but it was a bit on the sweeter side; I would skip it next time. Focaccia was unique but I think it's a bit overhyped. Overall, service was friendly, food was good, and the ambiance was chill. I would definitely go back.“
“For a micro brewery, they sure do have varieties. For those of who are sick of the IPA revolution, we have options! But don't worry if you love IPAs, they have those too. Best dogs. Best trivia. Best rotation of food vendors. Favorite brewery in NYC“

“Beautiful interior design, cute booths, ample space despite the relatively small store footprint. Lunch sets were excellent! We ordered 2 lunch sets + an extra main which is just right for two people with large appetites. The double cooked pork and spicy chicken were exceptional - honestly a quality I’d expect in China. The eggplant dish was a bit too sweet (and I’m from an area that eats sweet) but cooked just right otherwise. Ingredient quality was excellent. Highly recommend going for lunch!“

“My husband and I have eaten here twice: both times we’ve enjoyed delicious pizza, pasta, wine, coffee, and desserts. The staff are attentive and kind without hovering. Most recently, a couple and their young son were having dinner too. Beebe’s is a great choice for so many different people and families.“

“A really cute mom-and-pop Japanese restaurant in LIC/Astoria. Came in for lunch and absolutely loved the vibes here❣️They have a very straight-forward lunch menu and I thought the pricing was so good given the quality and the portion of everything. We got the Sashimi+Sushi set and the Ramen+Sushi set and it was such a satisfying meal! Would definitely like to return :)“

“A decent, old school neighborhood Italian joint. I love places like this for the ambiance, novelty, owners/service, and obviously the food! They brought out bread to start which was good but not spreads or oil were offered. They have a huge board of specials they bring to your table and I got the lavender cocktail special--tasty at first but all too sugary and I traded my friend for his wine. I wasn't overly hungry so I got the octopus appetizer and a small salad. The octopus was grilled to perfection and plated well. The end of the tail was super crispy. The salad had a good balance of flavors with apple, dried cherries, and hazelnut, but was too drenched in dressing for my taste. Since I didn't even get an entree, I plan on coming back since I love to support a business like this. Prices were pretty good and it had a homey atmosphere with a lot of celebrations going on on a late Saturday night. At this point I'm still a bigger fan of manducatis down the street but manettas is worth it just for the little Italian shop they have in the front.“

“This is a lovely little bistro. My brother and I went for brunch. We shared the endive and bleu cheese salad for a starter and I had the french toast with fresh fruit. Both dishes were amazing. The servers are really friendly and very attentive. Tres magnifique!“

“boyfriend and i’s occasional date spot, soup is always rich compared to more authentic ramen shops but sometimes im in the mood for a food coma lol. service is good and the place can really fill up over nights and weekends. alcohol section pairs well with the food well but can be a bit pricey. they have a good lunch special going through the week if you’re available in the morning and early afternoon time, and its conveniently right next to a gelato store for dinner and dessert.one thing that bugs me is how damn tight the tables are together, you will try getting up from your booth and stick ya butt right in someones dinner or visa versa. not great and perhaps they sacrifice a table or so for a more accessible space for diners.“

“One of the great restaurants on LIC for brunch! I was there with a party of 5 and we were immediately seated for our reservation. It was a beautiful day outside so the ambiance and vibes were great; people were all having a good time. We ordered the pancakes, avocado toast, and eggs benedict; they were all pretty good. The service was a bit spotty but overall, we had a good experience.“

“Best Spanish restaurant we’ve been to - everything was amazing, the octopus, the empanadas, the paella and the churros! The staff were very nice and friendly, and we loved the choice of music - very enjoyable and great ambience. Highly recommended!“

“Excellent service on the phone and in person. I ordered the fish biriyani and the fish was super tender as well as the rice. The seasonings were perfect and not overly spiced, the plate was affordable and filling, and it came out fast. The restaurant is like a banquet style setup so good for casual dinners or celebrations, it is a little bit of a smaller space though.Highly recommend this spot!“

“We had a lovely business lunch. The food and service was excellent. I would suggest they have a few more beer selection. We each had something different and we loved them all. The serving siZes were very good, too. I will definitely be back.“
“We liked it! The Khao Soi is a little different than I'm used to. It had more spices, a bit less creamy. My DC had the Duck Tamarind, he said it was very good. I'll keep it in mind the next time we're up for Thai. I want to try the Green Curry, and the soft shell crab.“

“Wow! What an experience, literally one of the best bars in L.I.C. The bartender Paula was courteous, attentive, and hysterical. She made our time here feel as if we were among family. Bonus, they have one of the best menus on the neighborhood, personal favorite are their McGantry nuggets, five plus stars.“

“Hi, I'm Trish,I live right up the block from Kate’s Corner Cafe. I have known her since she graced Astoria & Long Island City with delicious breakfast and lunch sandwiches and omelet platters. Every time I go there, I order everything so mouthwatering that I want to order for three or four people. Very professional personalities are great there. Everyone who works there is exemplary. Kate is very down-to-earth, warmhearted, and friendly to everyone she needs. They get the orders done as soon as possible, especially for all of those working people that go there that have only so much time for lunch. Her business has expanded to one of the colleges in the area. Oh, to top it all, she does catering. Yes, did I tell you she also has a food truck? And to top it all, she does catering. She can do it all. If you want some excellent food in the area and beyond, please check them out.I go back repeatedly; thank you so much, Kate, for making great food for our area.Thank you for being a great friend!!!?????? ? ??“

“The food was tasty but the real five-star experience is the service. Aaron went out of his way to make us feel welcome, he was super friendly and very attentive. Just based off of that, we will definitely be back soon! The location and atmosphere was lovely as well. Highly recommend for brunch or to have a few drinks(:“

“Grew up in Queens eating Singas Pizza from the 1980’s to 2000, then moved to the Hudson Valley. Happen to be in Queens with the family and decided to have them savor the Sjngas that I grew up eating. The personal pizzas of which they have many different topping variations has just the right thickness and crispy crust. The tomato sauce and cheese are just perfect with the crust. Every bit of flavor was just as I remembered and my family all agreed and enjoyed every bit of it. Singas has many different locations throughout NY and they all have the same consistent amazing taste. This location is inside a supermarket and it’s part of their food court so the ambience is just as you would expect from a food court.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian toppings.“
“a no frill old school irish bar in astoria that looks dull from the outdoor and dull in the inside which i really like. my cuz told me that he loves coming here for the booze, poolt table , darts , music , and the many regular characters that he has met over the years. the bartenders seem to know everyone name and the old wooden bar and stool just seems right for an irish bar. a few lite beers , play a little pool , watch the nets and knicks play and have a long interesting history lesson on the vietnam war from my new friend timmy the veteran and i am just dandy. not flashy with all the bells and whistles as other fancy bars and lounges in astoria but for tonight its better being old school simple. overall 4.5 stars on my yelp meter.“

“Known on google now as "Antojito's," this is the REAL DEAL. Tastes just like food made in Colombia, and the portions size match (in Colombia serving are hefty, as they should be!) so it's win-win here. The service is quick and will encourage you to come back. I know I'll be back soon!“

“NYC has a lot of “run of the mill” Thai restaurants that cover all the bases, but after recently visiting Thai Town in LA, Tuk Tuk is still slinging the best and most elevated Thai food in NYC. For instance, I wasn’t expecting to get 5 or 6 shrimp in a Tom Yum soup last night. And theres an emphasis on detail for the curry dishes and specialty items like one time ordering roast duck. A very well rounded experience. I wish this place had more restaurants around Queens or the boroughs!!“
“Staff was kind to guide me how to order and explain price is measured by pound. I got ribs and sirloin from BBQ counter, and it was about $18. I was so satisfied after finishing it. They have a TV, so I saw World Cup 2022 game. Great place to dine.“
“I recently had the opportunity to photograph an event at The Penthouse, and it was an enchanting experience. The venue's open and airy space, combined with its captivating city view, created a wonderful ambiance for capturing memorable moments. The abundant natural lighting made my job as a photographer a joy. Not only was the setting visually appealing, but everyone present seemed genuinely engaged, resulting in beautiful photographs. The staff at The Penthouse provided excellent service, ensuring a seamless event. If you're seeking an enchanting venue for your photography needs, I highly recommend The Penthouse. It guarantees a delightful experience and captivating photographs.“

“Nice little spot in LIC with great food and drinks. I went for brunch and had the chilaquiles rojos con huevos for the main course, and it was incredible. The balance of flavors and spices were amazing. I also had the horchata espresso martini and a mezcal con piña for drinks, both of which were tasty and strong (but not overpowering). For dessert, we split some of the housemade cheese ice cream (recommended by our waitress) and tres leches cakes, both of which were amazing as well. It's definitely a spot worth checking out.“
