“We went for Thanksgiving, not expecting much. Understanding they would be busy at 7pm, we decided to take our chances and walk in. Super friendly service. We got a welcome eggnog, brilliantly cooked 3 course price fix menu, great service. There were some hiccups (soup came out crazy fast, while the drinks took the normal time. A little odd) loved that they had a kobe steak as arn option, very moist turkey too. Pumpkin creme bruleee was tasty-not too "pumpkiny". They even have us a free champagne with dessert. Really worth it“

“Me and my friends ate dinner here. The food was perfect for warming up with the unnaturally cold Spring day! We got the duck with ginger, mapo tofu, and fried rice. Like the other posts, the price is a little bit on the higher end. However, the atmosphere of the restaurant was nice, the staffs were very polite and attentive, and there was almost no wait time. Will definitely come back if we are near the area again.“

“They do traditional Chinese food and Western Chinese food, and they do all of it really well. We are fans of the general tso chicken, mapo tofu, whole steamed fish, dry pot pork and cabbage, beef lo mein noodles and fried rice. The meat they serve with the noodles were plenty for a single serving. Love a good Asian restaurant that serves hot tea on the house too. I’d come back for the steamed fish too instead of trekking to flushing for it. Ambiance is subtle with a few statues and huge waterfall. We did a lot of deliveries there and decided to dine in and it seems like a quaint place for dinner with wood decor and a huge tree too. Service is so friendly. The pig steamed bun were very good too, not too sweet, the way we like it. Highly recommend for a nice affordable Chinese cuisine.“

“This place turned out to be our favorite spot whenever time we go to the park. After or before our walk we come here either to eat and drink or just have a drink. The beer selection is interesting and rotates regularly. Eugene always welcomes us in a very friendly way and helps us to choose what to order, he knows our tastes and keeps not forgetting what we tried the last time. Because of Super Chori we try new food from different parts of the world. I love that this place is always crowded, and dog friendly! This is the best neighborhood spot!“

“😀I have known Manetta's Ristorante since 1990's and have been going there. Food is always excellent and the prices are good. The staff and servers are pleasant. Lisa is always friendly and accommodating --- greeted me and my hubby with a pleasant smile and also checked up to make sure that everything was fine during the course of our meal. Server, Jasmine waited on us a couple of times --- one of it was today, 2/9/2024. We were happy with her service and everything else. Our overall experience with Manetta's Ristorante is excellent. I try a different side dish from their rotating menu on each visit, and I haven't been disappointed yet. The staff has been very courteous, and everything is reasonably priced. Food
Perhaps the least expected, but the food here is actually great. The highlight of it all is the grilled chicken caesar salad, we have yet to find a better one in this neighborhood. The tacos and grilled cheese are also not bad, but maybe more your typical bar stock.

Service
The bartenders all have a kind of calm, amicable presence. In the three years I’ve lived nearby, I’ve never seen even a trace of impatience, even on busy nights. They’re always getting into conversations with the locals, and it gives the place a friendly vibe.

Ambiance
I think this place is underrated as a date spot. It’s not fancy, and sometimes some of the tables can be a bit sticky (hey, spills happen it’s fair). But the lighting is nice — a warm amber light fills the place, and I think it makes you look better. I always feel like I have good conversations with people here, and I can’t quite say why, but I think it’s the vibe. If you’re not looking for anything too fancy, and just want a down to earth place to meet up with someone, this is your spot.

I highly recommend paying in cash to take advantage of their additional discount. The pork chop in the Curry Katsu was well prepared — thin and crispy without being oily. While the side salad wasn't quite my preference and the tables are a bit close together, the overall atmosphere is very neat. It is a lovely local spot for a quality meal when you want to skip the cooking.“

“A true 6 dollar meal it comes with rice, protein of choice, salad and fries. I usually get chicken over rice with extra pita bread. Comes out to 7 dollars, best food I can get. The drink comes included. However they did charge me for a drink once a few days ago. I’m not sure why I should have asked but I just assumed it was a change but the next day they didn’t charge me it? So I think I just lost a dollar at that point. 😔 but it doesn’t really ruin my experience of this place because other food area near by will charge me 3 dollars for an empanada or 10 dollars for fries. This place I can count on being fast and affordable and always good“
