“Great small and quaint bar next to the 7 line this was like my fourth time frequenting this wine bar. The bar itself is very cozy and with unique decor. Besides serving many wines they have cocktails with unique names and beers. We were there for happy hour and had wine with a spread. We also ordered a charcuterie plate. We enjoyed playing a card game and stayed until the jazz performers played their numbers. We really enjoyed our night.”

“My first time here and the girl working there was good with helping me choose a kimchi, although I was disappointed that sampling wasn’t an option, especially for the price that they’re charging. Very happy with my choice of radish kimchi, but it’s pretty expensive and not a place I could go to regularly.”

“I was first introduced to Carla's two years ago and I have been dreaming of both their Hibiscus Margaritas and Grilled Corn Romaine Salad ever since. YES A SALAD!

Happy to say I finally had the opportunity to return for an intimate birthday celebration and everything was just how I remembered it.

Cute and quaint, with good service and food, a great vibe!

Without a doubt I absolutely ordered the roasted corn salad. It has tomatoes, avocado, roasted corn, Romain lettuce, and an amazing dressing. I added the pan seared chicken. The chicken was super flavorful and juicy, and extremely tender, not overdone. The salad was magical just as I remembered it. In addition the guac was fresh and the Hibiscus Margs was a tasty way to wash it all down.

It's amazing how I dream about this salad. It's a good thing I don't live close because I would have no problem factoring in this salad which is a little pricey into an almost daily budget. Lol.

Needless to say I will not be reminiscing about this salad for two years again. I will be back sooner than you think.

We got a welcome eggnog, brilliantly cooked 3 course price fix menu, great service. There were some hiccups (soup came out crazy fast, while the drinks took the normal time. A little odd) loved that they had a kobe steak as arn option, very moist turkey too. Pumpkin creme bruleee was tasty-not too "pumpkiny". They even have us a free champagne with dessert. Really worth it”

“We've been to more DnD/BR locations than I could ever count and this is easily one of our favorites. Even though it's part of a busy Food Bazaar food court, they always keep it clean and they're always super friendly (especially to our kids). There are 2 small tables inside, 4 small ones outside in the food court, and about 10 shared picnic style tables (that seat 4-8 people each). The free underground parking on a hot day is a huge bonus!”

“Unbelievably good Italian food! Only thing I’m upset about is the fact I’ve wanted to eat here for 3 years and never actually went inside to eat! This place is a hidden gem. This is real quality Italian food, cooked and served by the same family since the 70s. The hosts, waiters and staff truly care about your dining experience and it really shows. Everything and I mean everything we ate was top notch. I got the carbonara my wife got the chicken parmigiana. I loved mine! Huge portions, quality ingredients. You can just taste everything in your food. The calamari was delicious, nice big calamari with a light breading and the marinara sauce is a real homemade sauce. You will not regret eating here I promise you that! They have a huge wine list and are very knowledgeable and willing to help you make a selection. I love the old school ambiance and the fireplaces are a beautiful touch! Prices are very reasonable! Actually kinda cheap compared to many other restaurants down here. I can’t wait to go back!”

They have a variety of options on the menu & they even have vegan protein powder to make shakes. The hash browns and eggs were delicious and were not greasy at all. Fast service . “I’ve known Spot for over 10 years, since their very first location on St. Marks. Over the years, they’ve expanded to more locations, including LIC and Flushing. Since the LIC location is close to where I live, I was genuinely excited when they opened in this area.

Their Green Tea Lava and Golden Toast have been amazing since day one and remain consistently great even now. Back then, the dessert was called Green Tea Lava Cake. It seems they later renamed it to Matcha Lava, likely to give it a more premium feel.

This time, I also tried one of their newer desserts an ube-based dish. It was okay and didn’t particularly stand out, but I do appreciate that they continue to update their menu seasonally and introduce new items.

Overall, it’s great to see the brand evolving while maintaining the quality of the classics that made it popular in the first place.”

It’s the kind of place you can spend hours in, whether you’re catching up with a friend or getting work done. The environment is calm, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed.

The coffee is top-tier. Smooth, well-balanced, and clearly crafted with care. Their lattes are especially good. So creamy, rich, and consistently excellent. Pair that with their fresh pastries, and you’ve got a perfect combination.

“Came for takeout of papaya salad the first time at this Thai restaurant greeted very quickly ordered and within 10 minutes. The order was prepared paid for and sent on my way. The atmosphere is set for dinner time. There were a few people for lunch sitting down already, which was nice to see it. It’s on a corner. You’re very easy to find parking is a little difficult but manageable so much so that I’m coming back for dinner to sit down will let you know later in part two, but I am very pleased. They take credit cards and cash”

“I came in about 1.5 hours ago and the guy working was SO NICE!!!! I really appreciated his service and kindness.
As for the chicken, I agree with other reviews that they BARELY put the sauce on the chicken. I ate predominately dry, semi crunchy chicken wings. I ordered the soy garlic but barely got any sauce.
The pickled radish had a funky taste :(

If there had been a decent amount of sauce, I would have enjoyed a bit more.

I really prefer BB.Q Chicken for Korean fried chicken and their radishes are better.”

“Tried this place as me and my partner were looking for an Omakase menu specifically and we were both impressed. The food is fresh, well prepared and if you sit at the bar/counter - you can watch the chef prepare each dish right in front of you which we enjoyed.

Great for a smaller more intimate date night.

The only thing that took away from the dining experience was that the restaurant was in, what seemed like a newer building and as a result, it felt like a bit of a ghost town and the bathrooms were unfinished and across the hall from the restaurant.

Aside from that, great food, VERY fresh fish and a good overall experience.”
