The staff is nice, polite and very skilled. Food and drinks are top quality with modest price. However, we want to tell you more; favourite food, among the others, are croissants, tart and all the deliciuos small cakes. Not to mention the excellent homemade ice creams. Nothing is left to chance, also our pet friends were super happy to taste the eccellent cookies. Special mention to Enzo who makes the best omelette in town. Last but not least, the owner Cristiano: polite, kind, nice, professional and very generous. Highly reccomended place, not to be missed, we are looking forward to go back again…wait for us!“

“I stumbled onto this place yesterday. I just recently started working around the corner. I entered the coffee shop and I was instantly greeted by such a sweet lady. I ordered the Nutella monster but explained to her that I don’t want it too and she made it absolutely delicious. Tasty and not too sweet at all so I didn’t feel too guilty for bending my diet haha! I also bought an avocado toast with a side of bacon….ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! This morning, I went back….yup, I sure did. Today, I tried the hot Nutella latte (again, less sweet) and was perfect for me! “I’ve been a customer for 2 years and the food and the coffee here are both delicious! My go to order is a BECA (which I’m glad they brought back) and either an iced coffee or iced cold brew with oat milk. I’m usually one to stay at home and make my own coffee, but something about the beans at this place makes the coffee taste like the platonic ideal of coffee. No sweetener needed!“

“A nice place for a quick morning bite (there’s not a big selection of options though). Had a croissant 🥐 with ham, egg and cheese. That was quite a hearty start of the day. “Team is super friendly, coffee and wine are good. Fyi- WiFi will not work on laptop. Could get it on my phone. I chatted with folks sitting next to me and they mentioned this happens frequently here. I was hoping to get some work done but this is not the place for that it seems. So good for hanging out but not for laptops. Was hoping it was going to be my get 1-2 hours of work done and then have wine place.“

William is an awesome kind quick barista with great energy, he makes you feel like you’re apart of the community. I mostly get the cold brew but the croissants are truly the best in the city. “I stopped by Caffe Torino in Astoria and ordered an Americano, and it ended up being a really solid coffee experience.

The Americano was smooth, rich, and well-balanced—not too bitter, with a nice depth of flavor that you don’t always get from neighborhood spots. You can tell they’re using quality beans and putting care into how the coffee is made, which makes a difference even with something as simple as an Americano. The café uses Italian-style coffee, which tends to have that fuller, more rounded taste.

“This is a must-visit cafe. Eating here felt like doing something kind to myself to start my day. All of the food was excellent, fresh, and healthy at reasonable prices. The staff were friendly. The vibe was great--loved the lighting and the wood colors and the artwork and the music. Highly recommend!“

“This is hands down the best Starbucks in the neighborhood! They have the most professional staff who knows how to make a decent matcha (not a coffee drinker). I’ve seen how they arrange an efficient production line to process through the incredibly many customers with speed and grace. I love their matcha latte with oat milk, though the new flavors with berries and strawberries fall on the too sweet side (there are ways to adjust it). However, the recent membership and rewards system adjustments are making it less appealing and more expensive to all.“

“Multi-sweet is an INCREDIBLE cake shop and the owner Amber is so sweet! We ordered a two tier cake for our great gatsby themed wedding (matcha / yuzu and black sesame / taro) and WOW did she deliver! The decoration was incredible and it tasted even better!! So moist and fluffy, not too sweet but so flavorful. I'm very picky with my black sesame because most places don't get the potency right but this was one of the best cakes i've ever had! We tried 5-6 of their flavors and everything is delicious so you really cannot go wrong.

For everyone who's had a bad experience with frozen cakes it may likely due to not giving it enough time to defrost. When we first ordered an 8 inch cake for our friend's birthday lunch. We picked up the cake she made the night before at 11am and didn't give it enough time to defrost. However after we let the cake sit all day to defrost, the cake ended up being so delicious we decided to go with multisweet for our wedding.

If you do decide to cater multisweet for your wedding I would recommend having her come onsite with catering and bring the cake. We used uber courier and while the cake arrived in perfect shape with no problem from multisweet's end, there was stress coordinating with the uber courier the day of.

Ultimately all of our guests were raving about the cake & wanted to bring slices home, we'll definitely be ordering here many more times!“

“We are visiting from Miami and stumbled upon this hidden gem. We ordered blueberry pancakes , 2 egg platers and a breakfast sandwich and everything was a 10/10. I got myself a mushroom coffee which was interesting , very good as well. The place is small and homey. The staff was very kind and welcoming. They have a variety of options on the menu & they even have vegan protein powder to make shakes. The hash browns and eggs were delicious and were not greasy at all. Fast service . If you are looking for some good breakfast or quick sandwich / wrap / smoothies check them out .“

“You can get delicious coffee almost anywhere in NYC, but Sweetleaf coffee is both delicious and unique. I love the Rocket Fuel, which is a cold brew, maple, milk concoction - never had anything like it elsewhere. The atmosphere is so relaxing with tables, a cozy couch and the record room in the back. The delicious selection of pastries are made in house (you can see the kitchen through a big window behind the laptop room). They do everything right at Sweetleaf!“

“I go to New York City once year: My co-workers and I take a group of theater students, we see 8 broadways shows, I get a *carrot cake donut* at the Doughnut Plant in Grand Central Station, and I’m a happy girl for one more year. I always have a good experience! I get my favorite, and then something new. Everything I’ve ever tried there has been phenomenal. (This time is was a coffee cake doughnut - it was inspired! SO good!) If Doughnut Plant moved its location to the moon, I’d probably just start taking my theater students there instead, just so I could get my yearly taste test at Doughnut Plant.“
