“I saw that one review from the person saying their oxtail was bad, but saw a plethora of positive reviews standing against it. I decided to give them a go and do NOT regret it! Lovely little spot for a late night meal! The cashier was very pleasant with a great attitude. I came by after finding my Airbnb and ordered 3 empanadas: Jerk Chicken, Salmon, & Oxtail. This is not a standard menu option, but she told me I could mix and match :)

I loved it!!! WONDERFULLY tasty food and a perfect crisp to the empanadas - not too hard and not too soft/mushy. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!“

“I’m a frequent visitor to this area of NYC, have somehow missed this hidden gem. From the outside, it’s typical for a New York storefront, and not terribly pleasing to the eye. Step inside, however, and you will find one of the neatest and cleanest deli’s that I have ever seen! The entire staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. I spent about $20 on a huge double-meat sub sandwich and a cold pressed juice. The owner apologized that the juice would take a few minutes, as he has to freshly cut the fruit and veggies for the juice, and the juicer is a bit slow. It was worth the wait as the juice was fantastic, and way better than a soda.
Overall very impressed, I’ll be back!“

“Good food prices are lower than most stores around. there buffet is cheaper per lb. Then the Food cellar supermarket 4-5 blocks down the block. I can’t believe all the negative reviews that’s not my opinion!!! I have been living in LIC since April I go at least twice a week for lunch better the most places in the area wish buffet was re stocked for dinner and Millie her self is a nice person some times people are just to critical 🤷‍♂️“

“It is a type of small supermarket and restaurant. It is clean and tidy. The attention is friendly and fast. They sell takeaway food for 9 and 10 USD. We ordered two dishes for 10 usd each. I ordered rice with black beans and spicy wings and my husband ordered white rice, beans and suckling pig. Additionally, we ordered a chorizo ​​and a ripe plantain. To drink two sodas. “Stopped in for a lamb gyro and wasn't disappointed. I believe it was a $6.99 special. Waited maybe 7-8 minutes while they prepared it on the flat top. That, a soda and doritos was just over $13.

“I stopped at this deli because I heard their empanadas are really good but since its early morning I got a bagel with bacon pepperjack cheese and tomato and I have to say that was the best sandwich I ever had and that's all I get everywhere I go so kudo to the chef! Highly recommended You have gained a loyal customer“
