“Very welcoming and helpful. I felt out of my element but they helped me right away. 22 dollars for a sandwich that could definitely feed two and maybe three. Even gave us napkins while we were eating outside. Very nice and a very big sandwich“

“I love there chop cheese and really every sanwich but I hate ordering at night because the young guy with curly hair always has the phone on so that no calls go through. It's pretty annoying especially when you see there's no orders at that time. Overall love the business.“

“This bodega is a bit of a walk for me but it's absolutely worth the walk, the food is so good and the people are so kind. Echoing the other reviewers to say get the beef crunchwrap. This is the first crunchwrap to break my loyalty to Taco Bell. Rest of the food is great as well - they clearly put a lot of care into making really tasty food.“

“Awesome italian deli with great bread and sandwhiches. They also have a small hot table w prepared foods and a small section of imported Italian goods and mets memorabilia. They own the bakery next door and I saw someone who ordered some amazing looking french toast and bacon egg n cheese on foccacia. They have a garden patio with seating and a fountain that you can sit at and enjoy. The garden area reminds me of my grandparents and elderly relatives. Love how the painted mural has the Bari mentioned.“

“Fillmore Deli and Backroom is a pretty solid neighborhood spot with a surprising mix of options. The Korean fried chicken is actually really good crispy, flavorful, and definitely worth trying. They also have a large variety of sandwiches, so there’s something for whatever mood you’re in.
One thing that always throws me off though is they tend to run out of the tuna pretty often, which is strange for a deli. But besides that, everything else seems to be okay. It’s a reliable place to grab a quick bite and the food usually hits the spot.“
“The best part of my morning is stopping in and always being greeted with kindness and hospitality. The menu is clear and simple, but it won’t stop them from suggesting something they think you’d enjoy.
It’s hard finding a place so quaint and personable in the city. For me it’s the fact that the owner will remember you and immediately welcome you as a friend.
I’m happy to have found this place and become a patron.
P.S. thank you for putting me onto the beef bacon“

“Forget bout everywhere else. Joe’s is the place to go. Mozzarella is the best - light airy milky and when you ask for unsalted you get unsalted. Only problem is that they run out of items if it’s later in the day. So go early.“

“I recently stopped by this deli, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The moment I walked in, I was welcomed with warm smiles and quick, attentive service. The place is clean, well-organized, and has that classic deli charm that makes you feel right at home.
The food was the real highlight—fresh ingredients, generous portions, and flavors that stand out. Whether you’re craving a hearty sandwich, fresh salad, or something warm and comforting, everything is prepared with care. You can tell they take pride in what they do.
Prices are reasonable, and the quality makes it even more worth it. If you’re in the area and want something delicious, satisfying, and made with attention to detail, this deli is definitely worth the stop. Highly recommended!“

“I recently visited Habib Deli and I can honestly say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious—flavorful, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. Whether you're craving something savory or sweet, they have a wide variety of options that will satisfy any appetite.
The service was top-notch as well. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made me feel right at home. I didn’t have to wait long for my order, and they were more than happy to provide recommendations.
The location is perfect—easy to find with plenty of parking, making it a convenient stop for both locals and visitors.
A special shoutout to Ali, the owner, who greeted me with a warm smile and made sure I had everything I needed. It’s clear that he takes pride in both the food and the atmosphere of his deli. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend Habib Deli to anyone looking for a great meal and a welcoming experience!“

“Check out my IG @lawyer.traveler.dreamer for more footage of our experience. David’s Brisket House in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, is a real piece of NYC food history. The shop has been around for more than 50 years and still serves some of the best sandwiches in the city. We ordered the famous “3 The Hard Way” to try all three classics: pastrami, brisket, and corned beef. Each one was stacked high on rye, and the flavors were incredible. The brisket had that perfect smoky edge, and the pastrami was full of spice and tenderness. You can feel the legacy in every bite. It’s casual, local, and full of character. If you want an authentic deli experience in Brooklyn, this is the spot to visit.“

“Always enjoy coming to this deli. Always being one of those late customers, coming in around 1-2am or close to when they closing. Always greeted, friendly guys working here, and the food. Even if I order the same thing as usual. Always the best! Will continue to come here and plus with more selection of snacks and treats. Don’t forget the cat. Yall should definitely give it a visit too!! ‼️💯“

“Now this is a good bodega. Ordered a sandwich and was such a fair price. And not only fair price, but the sandwich was amazing! And included a bag of chips! There’s a lot of bodegas in NYC, let me tell you, and not every one of them is offering this kind of quality at such a good price. And the guys were super nice as well. Keep up the good work.“

“Best deli in the Kips Bay neighborhood. The sandwiches/wraps are objectively good, the smoothies can be a hit or miss depending on who's working that day, great service overall. The previous resident cat that was a long haired tortie (I think) was so friendly and adorable.“

“In my opinion best bakery in the Neighborhood. From the cook shop in the back to the pastries in the front. Unlike a recent review I saw I recently got their Flan and it was so delicious. I recently got their tamales and pancita this weekend and also the best in the neighborhood. Let’s not talk about the fresh concha’s all time. When it comes to Birthday cakes this is also my go too. My picky child loves the Cafe con Nunez cake!!! Now speaking about today for three kings day the Rosca was a must. I went around 8:45pm and they still had a line outside. I even bumped into my child teammates who came from the other side of Brooklyn just for the rosca!! Mind you at 8:45 they were still taking out Fresh rocas from the oven for us on the line. Needless to say that even when I got home the Rosca was still very warm. Everyone in my family really loved the Rosca. Its fresh warmest just got prefect with our coffee… Oh and the prices were the best. They did not overcharge like other bakeries in the neighborhood. Price was prefect!!. This Bakery is just the number one for everything so far!!“

“You know a place is special when it starts feeling less like a deli and more like a second home.
Only real ones know about this spot right now, but honestly… it deserves all the love.
Grandma and grandpa own the deli and the warmth of the place reflects them completely. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the scent of fresh flowers from the huge flower selection at the entrance, warm smiles, and the kind of generosity that’s becoming rare these days. They genuinely care about people. You can feel it in the way they remember faces, serve food, and create an atmosphere where everyone feels welcome.
The open kitchen concept is such a rare find now too. Everything is always incredibly clean, comforting, and full of life. It feels human in there.
And the food… genuinely some of the best Korean comfort food I’ve had. I’ve tried pretty much everything on the menu at this point and it’s all fire 😭 The bibimbap is top tier, the tteokbokki is addictive, and both the cabbage kimchi and radish kimchi are SO good. One thing I especially love is that her kimchi is vegan, with no fermented shrimp like traditional recipes. It tastes clean, homemade, and deeply comforting.
There’s generous seating so I bring my friends here often, but it’s also perfect for grabbing lunch on the go. They also have some of the best brews in town and so many underrated Korean snacks and little finds that make the whole place feel even more special.
One of those places you almost don’t want to post because once everyone knows… it changes.
But please support small businesses like this 🤍
And trust me, I’m really not the type to write reviews unless it’s truly worth it.
You’re welcome : )“
