“Who normalized charging $20 for an Italian sub? It just feels un-American. Thankfully D&F in Astoria is more patriotic than that and their Italian combo hero is a very reasonable $10.50. It comes with all the classic meats, provolone, and oil & vinegar. My personal opinion is that an Italian sandwich is better after a few hours in the fridge so plan accordingly.“

“The prices for sandwiches are GREAT for the flavor and freshness but you don’t get a lot of product. For instance on a sandwich the tomato is sliced so razor thin it looks like a light pink piece of transparent paper. Also barely any lettuce but it’s always super fresh. That the only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars.“

“The owner is very friendly and kind. He ordered chicken and beef burrito. The ingredients are very rich, delicious and cheap. After the burrito is wrapped with the filling, it will be fried on a hot plate and it will be crispy. Taste. Best burritos I've had during my trip to the US!“

I been coming here for 2 years. Cool vibes & they got just what you need. GOOD ASS BREAKFAST, & my Linden cookies, & my probiotic soda. Don't know what that is, BUT IT'S DAMN GOOD. Come check them out.

“Heard a lot about this place and been wanting to see if it lived up to the hype. It certainly did and more. We ordered the two items many speak about, The Bomb and the Italian Combo. Both were huge and delicious. Although we preferred the Bomb more, but that our choice. On top of the sandwiches we had, they had a number of others that looked just as delicious as watched others pick there’s up as we waited. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and you can’t be the price for such amazing sandwiches. We’ll definitely be back for more. Just a heads up. They only take cash. No Credit or Debit Cards.“

“Really enjoyed the takeout I ordered for delivery. The Royal Greens Salads are huge!!! I would say they're twice as big as other salads chains. I wish it was easier though to know the dietary info for the salad dressings as I could not tell which ones were vegan. I love that you can choose your own protein and swap some of the toppings or build your own. I also got the green tofu curry dish from SriPraPhai as well. The sauce was incredibly flavor and I liked the amount of kick it had. It was spicy but not too spicy for me atleast. I do wish it had more tofu in it though as it felt very sauce heavy. I would order takeout from here again especially if I was getting food with someone who wanted something different then me. I appreciate the free delivery and the amazing portion sizes. It's nice to be able to order multiple cuisines as well.“

“Came in a pinch! Happy I found this deli on a work outing early one morning. Delicious egg sandwiches made with care, and Steve was super friendly and helpful. Clean store—good vibes too. Loved that he had a clearly printed menu I could look at since I hate squinting up at signs. You can tell it’s one of those local hidden gem delis—I’m eager to visit again when I’m in the area! The minimalist carnitas are just perfectly prepared pork, the Milanesa evenly cooked while retaining a tender bite, and the spicy sauce and pickled jalapenos no joke but easy to avoid for milder palates. “What an amazing deli! We haven’t had time to take photos of our food because it’s so hot, fresh and delicious we just dive in.
The staff are lovely and put so much effort into their food!
We are staying at a hotel close by but it’s worth a train ride out of NYC to discover this hidden gem.

“Few things, their iced coffee is really good and cost $3 or $4 depending on size. The taste is better than most coffee shop iced coffee. You can see their kitchen area is spotless, very clean. The store is not as clean but i give them credit for doing things right and having a good consistent product across the street from the park.
Also If you need anything for picnic they have it! Waters, sodas, beers, sandwiches.“
