“We have been to Prime no 7 several times but Prashant was the first server to suggest new things for us and we enjoyed everything he suggested, based on what we liked.
Best experience thus far!”
“Food was delicious! Had the Bronzino which came with the sayadeya rice. The fish was so delicious, perfectly seasoned. The unexpected star of the show was the grilled octopus which was so soft and juicy… not chewy at all and lots of flavor. Maybe the best i’ve had. Friendly Egyptians. The service and atmosphere fits the vibe, very casual spot. Food was served quickly. Will be back!”
“I definitely recommend ! Perfect spot to hangout with family and friends ! Thank you abhi for a very fun weekend”
“Love love love. Been here a couple times now and plan on coming back many more. Wonderful staff and delicious food surrounded by a super fun environment. The bartender sang a few songs on a Saturday night and the whole restaurant lit up. A wonderful place to spend time in the neighborhood.”
“Five of us had a party on Saturday evening. The tavern was quite busy which reflected on service (our waiter wasn't present all the time). But I can understand that.
The space itself doesn't look like a typical Greek tavern, but high ceiling, good furniture and an appropriate lighting are definitely worth mentioning.
The food is good, but some portions are too small. For example, Greek salad is very tasty, but the portion is way too small. The same goes for grilled saganaki. In addition, our lamb chops were served well-done, although we asked for medium. On the other hand, our red snapper was great.
Restrooms are too small for a restaurant with this capacity.
The wine list should be MUCH better.
Overall, it wasn't a bad experience. And the prices are very reasonable to be honest.
However, if I compare the food and portions with some other Greek taverns in Astoria I have to admit there are better options.”

“El restaurante es hermoso, excelente atencion, comida deliciosa y buena musica. El lugar es muy armonioso”
“The mint tea hit the spot and the chicken pastilla was also very solid. The highlight for us was the jawhara which was so light and crispy, with a great flavor of pudding. For the pastilla the portion was a bit small but fine for the price. However my personal preference would be to have egg inside (I don't think they use egg in theirs). Still, very pleasant food and service and I would definitely come back.”

“Reservations highly recommended since it’s a small spot. Every dish was honestly great, so excited to go back to try their other stuff, but the beef longganisa and ube ko achar I would def order again in a heartbeat. The sauce for the gnocchi and the skewer were 10/10. Also, their Green Leaf drink with pandan - SO GOOD.
My favorite desserts are literally silvanas and cheese ice cream, so it’s def their own version of these classic Filipino desserts, but satisfied with how they interpreted them.
Can’t wait to come back!”

“😁 I got lost in Queens and stumbled across this place - they have a collection of great foods and textiles, making for a wonderful atmosphere. The woman I met at the counter was very nice, the food is high quality and filling and I am eager to come back here. Vegan options available 🌱.”
“Food is so delicious and great, we tried the egg and cheese with halal bacon which was tasty, but the short ribs sandwich is another level of tastiness, was just perfect!
Their coffee is also perfect.
The staff are very friendly and nice, for sure I recommend this spot for a brunch.”
“Amazing brunch this morning. Excellent and super friendly staff, food was amazing!🙌🏼👍👏”
“Loved the soup. Potatoes 🥔 were great and soda is plenty.”

“The fact that they welcome you at the entrance In Italian is a good sign.
Amazing food, decent prices, specially for cocktails and drinks in general, I appreciate they don’t intent to overcharge you
Service is amazing, we celebrate a birthday and they sang and so on. Very cute 🥰
Thank you so much guys , will definitely come back again.
Ps : caccio e peppe is a must if you like creamy pasta.”
“Very nice place to get some tacos and drinks, they have an outdoor area so now that the weather is getting warmer its perfect. Drinks also come with a popsicle, very fun and tasty. Highly recommend the tacos, the chicken mole was okay, not my favorite, but not bad either. Flan was creamy and delicious. Also they allow dogs if you’re sitting outside, I brought mine and they even filled his water bowl :) we will be returning!”
“Love a corner restaurant! Staff is always so cool and welcoming. The cocktails are well designed, the space is dark and comfy for groups but I think it’s especially sexy for a date night. I know that offer a few fun happy hour “girl dinner options”. However my obsession lies with the chicken dinner, which normally would not be my go to at a spot, but this dish has a hold on me. It’s such a good size that you could share it but it’s also so delicious you don’t want to. The chicken is pounded thin but still juicy and subtly sweet, comes with an amazing pairing of crazy creamy polenta and this somehow addictive kale, but the true star is the smoky sauce that I want to bathe in. So divine! If they ever got rid of it I would cry.”
“This bar is amazing and is one of my favorites in the neighborhood. They have fantastic Happy Hour deals ($10 cocktails and $1 oysters). The oysters are huge and fresh.
Also wanted to give a huge shout out to the jazz band on Sundays. They’re incredible musicians and really elevate the experience.
Highly recommend this gem of a bar!”
“Food was phenomenal, loved everything, one of the best places I’ve ever eaten at”
“I will dream of the Uzbeki Qabuli Pulao for ages to come!
I've historically not been a fan of lamb, but this restaurant changed it for me. It was so tender and delicious, and the rice and carrots and raisins were so so so good. I don't often find myself in this corner of the country, but when I visit again, I will definitely be making a stop here!
We also had firnee, which I didn't manage to take a picture of before it was gone, because it was so delicious. 🥰”

“It was 4 am my friends and I were starving all McDonalds were closed we thought there were no food options and that we would have to go to bed hungry and we drove past this place and it was miraculously open! We were so happy. We ordered 5 tacos and the man behind the counter was super helpful and didn't care that it was 4 am. The tacos were AMAZING flavorful, juicy and just some of the best tacos ever! Thank you for being a late night hero!”
“I wrote up this review summer of 2015 and tried to post it on yelp but I couldn't log in. So finally posting it here.
I just had the probably the best deli experience of my life or at least as far as I can remember. I moved to the neighborhood 2 months ago. My first experience with this deli was a little disappointing. My friend and I got cheesesteaks but we both thought they were lacking flavor. I thought maybe just a little A1 sauce or buttering and toasting/grilling the bread might do the trick and thought about ordering one again with those instructions but never did. Then I got a ham, egg and provolone on a toasted buttered roll (which is how I order it everywhere) and it was the best I had in months! So good that I think my girlfriend got tired of me talking about it! So then I got another, and I think it was the same cook, but he forgot to toast and butter the roll, probably because he was distracted being on the phone (shoulder to ear), and so it was not anywhere near as delicious as the one he made before. This morning I went to get another ham, egg and provolone, and Nesh (who isn't the regular cook) not only made it better than the last time I had it from the regular cook, but did such an all around great job that this will not only be my goto deli. Whoever owns this place should give him a raise. You must understand that it is rare for me to give such praise, for example I had such horrible experiences with Dell and Verizon that I will never ever buy anything from them again. Even though my experience with Empire State Deli hasn't been perfect, its has been rather good compared to other places and with Nesh's great customer service, I will go here more often. Oh and before going to this deli I read reviews here and I remember one mentioning teens hanging out and it being an issue but I've never seen nor experienced anything like the no matter what time I have gone over the last two months. Then I went back and got another ham, egg and cheese by the regular cook and it was only so so. I guess they should make Nesh the cook then it would be 5 stars!”
“If you know, you know. This deli is my go-to spot for tacos. Every single time I go, I get the cecina asada (steak) quesadillas ( it’s crunchy tacos) and it never disappoints. The flavor is always on point, seasoned perfectly, and cooked just right. If you go, make sure you get the green sauce i recommend you call before you go so it’s ready!”
“Been there before since 10th grade in high school at Elmhurst's Newtown High School & in college at LaGuardia Community College. This Burger King location before Triborough RFK Bridge is outstanding & I can even see Triborough RFK Bridge itself & at the same time a tourist attraction while eating as well. TOUCHDOWN Burger King right by the Triborough RFK Bridge next to N & W train's Astoria Blvd- Hoyt Avenue🚇💛 in Queens's Astoria section in the style of NY Giants💙🏈 & Seattle Seahawks💚🏈.”

“I didnt eat there but my band soft spot played a show there. The band Lo Lux put it on and they did a fantastic job hosting, running sound and being one of the best bands I've played with !
As for the bar itself the staff was fantastic ! barely a wait for a drink even with a packed bar ! If you have a severe peanut allergey this may not be the place for you as they serve peanuts like a bar would serve pretzels with the shells being thrown to the floor. All in all aside from the peanut situation I would definitely recommend going and if you're lucky enough to catch Lo Lux, well you will have struck gold.”
“Great beer. Great location. But just a tap room now. Tons of space to hold an event or just chill out with some friends. They have a decent bar menu as well. Their is even a record collection and a turntable where your favorite bartender can also slap some of your favorite wax down. -and YES, they have Huey Lewis and the news!”
“I had a very nice dinner with my friend and next time, we are bringing more friends to have fun here.”
“Pedi un cake para 20 personas y en tamaño me ofrecen uno alto y el que me llegó fue”

“Incredible cocktail/beer bar with a completely original vibe. I've been coming here since they opened in 2015 and it's been a consistently fun experience. Beyond their great cocktail/beer lineup, their greatest offering is perhaps the unique array of frozen drinks that start up in Spring and last until the autumn. Frozen paper planes, penicillins, a boozy take on a mango lassi (!)...and so much more. And a hell of a backyard to boot...you simply gotta go here.”
“This was the warm Italian hug I was wanting on our recent trip to NY. We were at the MOMI down the street, and had made reservations for dinner at Sac's after the museum. We had tired, hungry tummies, and were a good hour from our original reservation time. The good people over at Sac's accommodated my family immediately, and with pleasure! The atmosphere was welcoming, comfortable, inviting, and straight up authentic..this coming from a Sicilian girl with olive oil in her veins. My family ordered a variety of dishes, each one spectacular! 2 different pizza's, fried zucchini, sausage, and the BEST shrimp scampi I have ever eaten! The staff treated us like family, and were super attentive, anticipating our needs, and not missing a beat. At the end of our meal, Domenico Sacramone, one of the owners came by our table to chat, it was lovely and greatly appreciated! That's the extra touch of love, and attention someone who really cares about their business, and their customers puts out! It was genuine, and made the experience that much better! If we were locals, this would be our weekly dinner spot! Thank you to all over at Sac's Place for a wonderful meal, and a fantastic dining experience! We will most definitely be back”
“Family Corner is an amazing cozy family restaurant that my friends & fam have been going to for decades! It’s like “Cheers” where everyone knows each other’s name! The food is made fresh homemade with ♥️Love everyday! Their food is so tasty and the portions are generous. The staff & owner makes you feel part of their family. It’s intimate diner throw back to another time atmosphere is refreshing! The traditional Greek food is out of this world and very reasonably priced. And it has a thriving takeout/ delivery business. Neighborhood eateries like The Family Corner - is what makes our Astoria community great!!!”

“The chef is from Rome and he cooks all the food so there is consistency in the dishes every time we go. His pasta is the best. We went to Rome and tried the famous Rome's 4 pasta dishes and we still love Chef Antonio's food!”
Fine Dining
“I have used Nerwan for a couple of specialty cakes. Very talented, very accommodating, very delicious, and spot on service. This young entrepreneur went from working from home to a beautiful little location. It is a pleasure to contribute to her rise in this field, so give her a shot for your baking needs or just stop by and try her products you certainly will be pleasantly surprised and pleasantly satisfied.”
“I guess it was the creepy security guy lunch break because he was to involve watching in the room then securing the out side couldn’t focus on my kat getting eat 👅 because he was to creepy with it other then that I love the place the owner needs to be open to knew Ideas to get the place a bit popin like four entry in fifth one free discount price on Thursday and Sunday which is the slowest day free raffle give away every Friday Saturday night for free entry etc hope crowd pick up more I guess summer time people are doing other things but it’s popin in cold weather hope it’s more people when I go again”
“If you want authentic great Mexican Food & Drink.. Ruta Oaxaca is the best ! Great service , friendly staff and great variety.”
“Good food, special drink called, BUTTER! Get ready it's lights out!!.. lol”

“A real deal NY slice. Their crust had the perfect crunch, good tomato sauce and good cheese ratio.
It's a family owned business - the owners were very welcoming and gave me one of their popular slices to try. Thank you Maria and Kathy :)
Excited to come back and try their Mexican food.”
“We had our baby shower at Figlia and can't say enough positive things! Riccardo and the whole staff were great to work with and super accommodating. The food and atmosphere are amazing--Astoria is lucky to have this place!”
“Great service the staff is so nice ! Food was fantastic . This is our first time here !”
“Great place to. Haven't been here in a while and now we will be coming back because of Frankie. Talk about an amazing personality and vibe he gives our neighborhood”

“Beautiful place, lovely vibe and people.
There was a small mishap where our order took really long to come but they gave us a complimentary beer and we're very polite about the situation.
Overall we waited over an hour.”
“Today was our second time here and from start to end this place was outstanding, the drinks were so refreshing, the grill octopus as an appetizer was so tender and yummy, the entree and deserts, all very good !”
“Cool place for Beer! The food is good! I had the cheese curds for appetizer and steak & eggs 🍳 All if it was very good! 👌🏽”
“Great restaurant! Run by the family. Delicious food, wonderful service, great ambience. Highly recommend!”

“dont be fooled by the old time design the food is fantastic EXCELLENT cheeseburger plus other items tvs all over a few cold ones and some tunes that you can play on your phone via touch tunes nice way to spend an afternoon”
“I was there today for Iftar, it was great! It was a 3-hour drive, but totally worth it. Everything was amazing, it reminded me of Algeria, the vibe, the service, everything 🤗”
“Really tasty meal - we had the Ginataan (pan fried tilapia in coconut cream sauce) and Kare kare (peanut sauce) pork belly. Both were delicious.
Service was quick and attentive, staff were kind and caring.
I can’t believe there’s not more of a wait at this restaurant. Go before it becomes too popular to get a table without a reservation.”

“We had a fantastic time! I had the spicy chicken ramen, and the yakitori. Both came out amazing.
Our waiter Alan was also a fantastic server! He made us feel right at home.
We definitely will be back!”
“Wow excellent pulled pork! And the spicy mac’n’cheese 👌 I highly recommend”
“great food great drag show brunch a full bar w amazing cocktails been going there for years now never fail!”
“Food was amazing. 10/10. Amazing service. The waitress was super nice, helpful and patient. She had awesome recommendations and alternatives. She made sure I was happy with my choices. I would recommend this place to everyone. Will definitely come again.”
“I had my birthday here such a great place to have any celebration, the food was amazing the wait time for the food was not too long, and The staff was friendly and willing to help making it special and enjoyable. The price was too high though that was the only thing that was the issue. But I recommend this place”
“amazing restaurant. foods, drinks, are greatly delicious, waiters are awesome & cool, Chano the owner is one of the best, my friends like that place too.. oh yeah...”
“Great restaurant! Great food! Great staff! We love it. We ate there 3 times in 24 hours.”
“Such a great neighborhood spot. I went there late the other night craving falafel, and even though they told me they had run out, the guy actually went downstairs to check and found some. He ended up making fresh falafel patties right there just so I could have them.
The sauces were incredible and the food was absolutely delicious. Even though we ordered takeout, the hospitality was 10/10. It’s rare to find places that go the extra mile like that. Definitely coming back.”
“Back at Tufino after 2 years of Covid and the Pizza it’s EXCELLENT as usual. I’m originally from Napoli, IT and Tufinos pizza is just like back home.”
“And cider & bier - about a dozen on draught, and more cabs and bottles on the in the cooler. Great Brie garden in back for gatherings.”
“Delicious and filling. About 20 min wait in a busy Saturday but worth it!”
“The octopus is PERFECTLY cooked. The flavors are incredible. I only wish it came with some potato or salad underneath. We also got the lamb fricassee, that sauce is so lovely and lemony. I think the lamb was just a touch over cooked but that is my only note on that dish. We got a half portion of rice on the side and I would recommend so you can savor every last bit of the sauce! The service is great, and I love the atmosphere. It feels like old New York and you are surrounded by Greek families in the restaurant. They gave bread with a delish vinegar and the end of the meal was a nice rice pudding dessert on the house. I will definitely be coming back!”
“Excelente!!! Muy buena comida y muy buena atención. Gracias”
“Ora is such a cozy neighborhood spot. The vibe is warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed dinner. The food was excellent — loved the beet salad, the sautéed portobello mushrooms were full of flavor, and the steak was cooked perfectly. Everything felt thoughtful and comforting. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to.”
“Had a great time at Bar Dalia having a birthday party yesterday. Ricky, Crystal and Megan made sure everything went smooth. Bryan was very helpful in coordinating and planning. We had about 20 guests in the back lounge area which was just for our party. The food and drinks were amazing. The service was very quick. Highly recommend for having parties or going on date nights.”
“Wednesday night’s jam session is the best around. The quality of the musicians who stop by and play a couple of tunes is first class!”
“We always enjoy the food and drinks here. Luisa was a great waitress and we had a nice time there. The chicken champignon (mushroom sauce) was delicious and loaded with mushrooms. Great classic margaritas for under $10 with lunch. ❤️”
“Great experience at this sushi restaurant and bar! 🍣🔥 The tuna tartar was amazing…very fresh and full of flavor. I also tried the chef’s special with octopus, served in a beautiful casserole-style dish with a small flame underneath, which made the presentation really unique and kept it warm.
The happy hour drink was also really good. Special thanks to my waitress, Zine, who was super attentive and sweet and always checking if I needed anything.
Overall, I give this place 10 stars! ⭐️”
“I like this place. We had brunch and the food tasted really good. Baked Chix w/ lemon, awesome. Juicy, moist and tasty. The rice and beans w/chicharones, yum. Not into sweets but the flan w/caramel just hit the spot, it was sweet but not too sweet. The ladies, servers, was very nice and attentive. The ambience, upgraded industrial columbian resto, great.”
“We had a great experience here! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was top notch from start to finish. Our waiter recommended the jalapeño poppers and they did not disappoint, truly a must order. Highly recommend this place!”
“❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ love love love this place, I have been going here for almost 20 years. Ali is a gem ❤️”
“the ginger salad was delicious. I also order calamari tempura .. sushi and sashimi was so fresh and delicious. will go again ..”
“Best food and hosts! Meal was amazing! Drinks were beautiful! Atmosphere was great!”
“Amazing experience! I arrived on a Saturday night with a party of 3 with no reservation. They were able to seat us within 10 minutes. Amazing food and service. Manager Ronin was so attentive and female bartender was so personal and hilarious. I will be back soon!”
“I've not eaten here but the food I've seen others get seems very good. I usually just come here with friends for the great beer.
The vibe is great. Lots of families with children running around, so kid friendly. Picnic style table set up. Lots of sun and shade. Something to keep in mind, is that it gets really crowded on weekends. Especially when the crowds show up for big sports games because they have TVs everywhere, inside and out. Bathrooms are kept clean and take service is good, too.”
“True neighborhood gem! I’ve been coming to Jack Jones since they first opened and it never disappoints. The food, drinks, and atmosphere are always amazing, and Carol is hands down the best! She’s so friendly, attentive, and always makes everyone feel welcome. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!”
“One of my all time favorite restaurants In Astoria. You can always find something delicious to eat.”
“Excellent and delicious Mexican food with an amazing customer service. I had a wonderful time and enjoyed the food. Thank you much “El Mero Mero” I totally recommend your restaurant. 🥰”
“My favorite restaurant in Astoria. We even did our wedding rehearsal dinner here! They have fantastic Thai and Japanese food and the best coconut rice I’ve ever tasted (including the time I lived in Asia!) Great service and great prices considering how good the food is. Must go!”
“Pasta, al dente. Sauce, out of this world. Vibes, off the charts. Il Nonno is such a breath of fresh (basil-filled) air. Last night, I stopped in with my friends for dinner and --more than once--after one side of the table tried a dish and implored the other to try, our eyes met in total food joy. "Oh my gah...this is SO good" was uttered too many times to count. Now let's get to the nitty, gritty. Our picks: Porcini ravioli (homemade pasta, phenomenal) Seafood risotto (menu says it's in a light tomato sauce. Definitely light, but it's far more flavorful than what I consider "light tomato sauce") Pasta Bolognese (another handmade wonder, lusciously complex sauce). Pasta Siciliana this one has eggplant and ricotta in a ROBUST sauce. Squid Ink Seafood Pasta was out of control. Like I need more savory adjectives in my life to describe this adequately. Apps. We loved all equally, but I mean calamari fritti is a no-brainer here and I literally had to slap the bread out of one friend's hand because she'd say she was full but relentlessly dipped more and more bread into the white wine mussels broth! The tuna carpaccio was almost too pretty to eat buuuut...we scarfed it down. Finally, Dessert. Chocolate cake (go with me here...you could smell the warm chocolate as it approached the table, incredible). Tiramisu, not too sweet, not too "damp"...perfection. And quite possibly even better than the banging food, we were lucky enough to chat up the delightful owner who introduced us to the chef (who happened to come from a VERY well-known Italian restaurant in Manhattan)! And all of the culinary magic instantly made sense. Don't walk. Don't run. Teleport to this place. Your taste buds will love you for it.”
“The guys who own this place are genuinely such great people, which is very much reflected in their business! They've also hired equally personable staff who always greet you with a smile. The food crushes as well (I'll legit fight your mom for that smash burger) and the drinks are somehow always quick to arrive even when it's busy. I'm so happy to call Wylie's my new neighborhood hang.”
“Amazingly romantic vibe…..fantastic food and ambience. Service was 5 stars.”
“Food, ambiance, drinks this is one of the best restaurants in queens hands down. We haves tried almost everything in the menu and every time we come there’s something new to try. The service is outstanding. Little jewel in Astoria. Mexican l/Peruvian fusion it’s amazing”

“Read it online plus Google Maps to prevent stress anytime whether in person, online, or on YouTube. Rock & Roll Power Slam due to Saturday Afternoon Songwriter's Open Mic🎸!”
“Fabulous!! Excellent service & the steak is the best! Cooked to perfection!!”
“Albeit Italian, this is a family-owned restaurant (the owners are Greek). The menu is comprised of mostly Italian dishes, with some inspired Greek dishes. A great neighborhood spot! Love it!”
“Best Italian deli in Astoria, no question. I especially love their marinated mushrooms and garlic (both hot and mild). You get what you pay for. I can't afford to go every day, but when I do, I can't get enough.”

“We ordered kebabs late at night and reached the restaurant around 12:30 AM. The shop was about to close, but we still waited patiently for our food. While we were waiting, the staff turned off the light right above our table, which felt very rude. Specially the main lady! omg so much attitude yak! Then they told us to leave in a very harsh tone. As a Muslim customer at a halal restaurant, I didn’t expect to be treated like this. It was really disappointing to face such disrespectful behavior. I hope they improve their attitude towards customers in the future.”
“The Music in here absolutely amazing each time. At some point or not you will be dancing. The Manager's name is Dell and his entire team make your entire experience enjoyable. Everything on the menu is delicious. The crowd is great. The bathrooms are very clean. I will be back again. Thank You so much.”

“Awesome little spot, would highly recommend. Literally tasted like it was home cooking. The everything bagel with lox was great, but the chicken with rice and beans was my favorite. Chicken was fall off the bone tender and melted in my mouth, with a kick of flavor from house-made salsa verde and some heat for good measure. I was also surprised that such a small place had amazing coffee as well. I only wish I had a bigger appetite that day so I could have had the ruben sandwich! Looking forward to coming again. Yaseen is an amazing owner!”
“When we stepped in,we loved the vibes right away. The 2 gentlemen welcomed us with a big smile.
The one Who made our drinks he really knows what he’s doing.
The best mixologist!!
Music was perfect in the background smooth not too loud!
LYCHEE ME ALONE fantastic! Classic mojito also. I don’t drink often, but when I will go out next time for a drink or two,it will be here again.
We had a great time!”
“From the moment we walked in, everything felt right. The atmosphere was warm and inviting without being overdone, and the staff struck that perfect balance between attentive and relaxed. The food was real highlight. Overall, this is the kind of place you leave already planning your next visit. Highly recommend if you want great food and a genuinely enjoyable dining experience.”
