“This place is on the intimate side, which I didn’t like completely. The food was good here! I recommend the French toast and the fried chicken. My friend ordered a medium steak and it was way too chewy but it was good she said. Cocktails were also good. The waiter was very helpful and friendly. I would go back again!“
“The açaí bowls remind me of how açaí should taste and how it used to taste before it became overly commercialized. The staff is always friendly. The space is very clean. The paninis are so good! When I work in Manhattan, I miss my Astoria location. I'm glad they moved in.“
“I saw this place listed on a website for best cheap eats and I can see why. This is an inexpensive Brazilian buffet that charges by the pound. I have been to several of these types of places in Astoria. Like those ones, in addition to the regular buffet offerings, they have a churrascaria option where you can choose cuts of grilled meat that raises the price. However, I found the regular buffet to be excellent as it is.Some of the items being offered were: maduros, fried chicken, beef brisket, rice and beans, seafood rice, fried fish, stewed fish, farofa, oxtail, spaghetti, salads, and much more. I though the brisket and fried chicken meat were especially moist and juicy.“
“This place is without a doubt the best steakhouse, the place is beautiful ? it has a wall full of wines and the house wine is delicious! The food is wonderful and the portions are perfect, my husband invited me to this restaurant to celebrate Women's Day and it was undoubtedly the perfect choice! The waiters and service were excellent, a good place for all occasions! I will be back“
“This place is a true gem.To be fair, I don't really have any experience with Brazilian cuisine outside of the defacto steakhouse type environment, but I am aware of what great flavors and fantastic service are like and they have it in spades here. While I didn't know what to expect, everything I tried was seemingly better than the last. The food is surprisingly filling too. I thought when it came to the table we'd be stopping again soon elsewhere or ordering more, but we were all stuffed in the end.We actually visited their other location and had some chicken wings and a cocktail, and I gotta tell you the chicken wings shocked the hell out of me. I love chicken wings and these were top notch. Super crispy and had a great sauce on them (not overly done either, so you could actually taste the batter on the wings).“
“Enjoyed an amazing dinner with family, highly recommend the Feijoada, and the serving size for the mini Feijoada was plenty for 2 people. The Passion Fruit Mousse was a fantastic dessert. Highly recommend.Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free options: Bobo de Camarao“
“Sazia took such great care of us during our dinner! We also only eat halal and she made us feel very comfortable, continually checked in on us and made sure we knew all of our options available. We opted for the Wagyu Ribeye and it was delicious! We will definitely be back. Highly highly recommend!!Dietary restrictions: Halal“
“Francisco was amazing with his service. We were amazed on how good the food was. Recommended by Alejandro who stopped by my store New York City Harley Davidson. Definitely going to be back here with the family again. World class everything here, make sure to stop by.“
“Great all around. Really delicious food with fresh flavors that are well balanced. The mussels are spicy and very delicious, steak was cooked perfect and staff so super nice and attentive.Ambiance is small and very cute. Great local spot in bay ridge“
“This was a very neat cafe that focused on Brazilian flavors. I will say I thought the food may have over shadowed the beverages but I also don't drink coffee so don't hang on my word there. I got a matcha latte I've had better but obviously I don't think that's what this place specializes in so I think it can be forgiven. I had the a croissant sandwich and my lady had these prosciutto sandwiches (sorry I don't know the exact names) they we're both outstanding albiet maybe on the pricey side but you're in the seaport district so it's to be expected.“
“We love it here! The food is great, friendly service, and a nice atmosphere. We live in Florida, but every time we are visiting we make sure to come here. The steak and eggs are the best! Also the spinach salad is a favorite. Thank you ! Definitely recommend.“
“Food is always excellent. Service is great, and the atmosphere is family oriented. Sometimes they are a few patrons that display disrespect toward others with the use of their cell phones on speaker either when watching videos or having private personal conversations that the rest of the costumers have no need to be subjected to. Management should try to keep a policy of no speaker allowed .“
“I haven’t had food from them for a few years, but after moving back I tried them again, this time at their new (to me) take out window. The pao de queijo was great! As was the coxinha and flan. I would have appreciated a menu on paper so it would have been easier for me to point to what I wanted since I’m really bad with Portuguese. I wanted to order more but I think it got lost in translation“
“Me, my friend and Don came here after a long weekend in the city. This was an amazing place to slow down rest and eat amazing food. I loved the chicken with cream and hearts of palm. I believe it's calledFRANGO AO MOLHO DE PALMITO EN BREASt. I learned how to make it I enjoyed it so much. Thank you for a nice “
“Great food and service. Jorge was amazing. We had meats coming left and right. It was literally nonstop. We usually go to Fogo De Chao and wanted to try different location. This was so much better. My new favorite restaurant. Quality meat, really fresh and constant service. We have been missing out. Can’t wait to go back.“
“This place get packed easily due to the good and tasty food they provide.Amazing to see the big selection they have for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I believe they are the only one that offers a self service buffet breakfast. If you have been there for breakfast yet you missing out.A family business that have been in Astoria for years serving the community and making us Brazilian happy.“
“One of the most authentic Brazilian barbeque experiences I've had so far. They had Feijoada on the salad bar, and it was just as good as their meat choices. The Garlic steak and the Picanha were great, and I couldn't get enough of the chicken hearts.“
“Came around opening on a Thursday and there was nobody at the restaurant, but it got much busier as the night progressed. The restaurant accommodates both small and large groups and seems to be a great date spot. They have happy hour with some drinks and small appetizers – we got the chicken wings (tastes OK) but felt like we could have skipped it. They have a large menu selection but we opted for the pork belly ssam (available Thu-Sun), kimichi fried rice and the picanha fatiada (steak). All of the food was decent, but nothing great enough for me to want to come back. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful though, so if you want a place with great service and vibes, this would be the spot.“
“First time going to Beija Flor and you have to go! This cute and lively restaurant left the best impressions! All the meals ordered were to die for and melted in our mouths. From the grilled salmon with vegetables, to the burger, to the mixed green salad with grilled shrimp, to the shrimp with garlic sauce, and the yuca fries, everything was *chef's kiss* mouth-watering!Service was excellent! The servers were efficient and polite. Cícero was hands-down such a hospitable, welcoming, accommodating, and friendly host! Our party went to celebrate a birthday and he came out with a candle sparkler on the most delicious and creamiest flan while the band sang "Happy Birthday" in Portuguese!Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Long Island City. It was such a short and easy walk from the E Queens Plaza train station. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience. I recommend it to everyone!“
“Recently had the pleasure of dining at this Brazilian buffet where you pay by the weight, a concept that truly sets it apart. The standout dish for me was the five-flower pork, which was absolutely delicious, succulent, and seasoned to perfection. What caught my attention the most was the extremely fair pricing, making it an excellent value for money, especially given the quality of food on offer. The authenticity of the flavors is unquestionable, and knowing that the owner hails from Brazil adds that touch of genuineness to the whole experience.I left the restaurant with a mental note to return soon, especially to delve into their dessert offerings. This is a must-visit for anyone looking for bona fide Brazilian flavors without breaking the bank. Highly recommended!“
“Thinking about eating a good pizza, ? then let's go to Theodoro Pizza, Brazilian dough and filling, service and a clean and safe environment, live music on special days, it's worth checking out... I loved it.Vegetarian options: specialty of the houseParking: super easy to find your spot...“
“Went the other evening with a group of friends and we had a fantastic time. Great assortment of food, superb service by the staff, and a nice ambiance. The meats tasted great and the side dishes complemented them well. Also can’t say enough about how good that pineapple was - worth going here just for that.A lot of these types of establishments will try to cheap out on how much they serve but we were treated to a true all you can eat experience. At a certain point we needed to ask the waiters to stop because we were all too full.In short we had a fantastic time and we definitely plan on going back.“
“Excellent food, great service. I recently ordered a feijoada. The flavor and the size of the portions are spectacular. EXCELLENT value for money. Super well answered on the phone by Mr. Eriton, cordial and attentive. I highly recommend this place.“
“Very good attention and service provided by the manager and the waitress Karla. The quality of the meat is excellent and very reasonably priced, the mains and sides are great. It was the first time I went and without a doubt it will not be the last.“
“Paid $42 for me and my boyfriend, they gave me a piece of meat That was so tough Everything else was good. I also don’t think she removed the weight from my plate but it wasn’t bad. If I’m honest, I think that the mashed potatoes and heavy items like that, are a waste because they rack up the price. Their hot sauce is good, however, if I’m being honest the amount of food we got it was not worth the price . It was tasty, but I think you have to be more smart about it than I was maybe just one plate with sides and one plate with meat . Also, once I left the bathroom, a homeless man was standing in front of our table which was a little concerning“
“I tried this place at the Bryant Park Winter Village. I had the chicken coxinha, it was so good! It brought a sauce that took the dish to another level. Now that I’ve seen there are multiple locations here in Brooklyn definitely visiting. The starts for atmosphere were because the winter village was crowded insanely! I’ve tried this dish before from an authentic Brazilian home, and the ones I tried here lived up to it. You should give it a try!“
“The service was fast and friendly, the ambient was clean and very nice, and the food was traditional and tasted amazing. I was visiting NYC and decided to try this place since I was missing some food from back home, and it was just what I needed to kill my cravings. I tried their pao de queijo, pastel, coxinha, brigadeiro, and caipirinha. I look forward to my next visit!“
“The food is pretty cool. I would have preferred wood cook meat but hey, so for the Rodizio there are many different cuts, including chicken and pork sausages. This time unfortunately I went on a Sunday and there was an older man, seemed Latino skinny dark skinned. Was very rude, but then there was this one guy by the name of Johnny who took care of us and gave us excellent service. Asked if we needed anything else and was very nice. Deer would ask for him next time. He made our dinner great.“
“Amazing Brazilian restaurant ?..Top quality + Best customer service + No stress for parking in the heart of Astoria community ? .. Also we can shop in the supermarket right beside the restaurant where we find good Brazilian products and medicines from Rain forest ? ..So , I strongly recommend for anyone who is interested to know more about Brazilian culture ???? ❤️?? ..Sincerely,Renato & Nina ? ..Vegetarian options: All kinds of vegetables, fish , basmati rice , soup and juices ?? ..“
“All the food we tried was very good! 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Our server April was so sweet & made sure to explain every food option they had the minute we sat at our table! She was very friendly & made the experience even better. All the food we had was very fresh & seasoned very well, the dessert was also so good!! ? I would definitely recommend this restaurant because the food is so good & the service was amazing, thank you April! We will definitely be back to eat here again.“
“Came here for Valentines Day with my family- 2 adults and 3 kids. Great atmosphere and loved the decor. The staff was very friendly and very attentive. The food was the best, we started with some appetizers and for our main dish we had the churrasco and the rib dish. My kids devoured their plates. We will definitely be coming back and I definitely recommend this place. Very kid friendly as well.“
