“This is my first time here all the way from Newtown, Connecticut, and it Definitely did not disappoint. The atmosphere, the food, and of course, the wonderful service. Aymaan Was our server, and I’ve eaten at many restaurants and this is by far one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. He was on top of everything, and treated us with tons of respect. I asked him multiple questions and he was able to answer them at the top of his head. A very kind, hard-working young man.“

But the Chef did not want us to leave disappointed, he did it all (Champagne, birthday sign, food, shots) all at a discounted price. & let me tell u the food did not disappoint. It was delicious! “Bai Sushi may seem like a small run-of-the-mill takeout restaurant from the outside, but they are so much more. The cozy atmosphere and welcoming staff make for a wonderful dining experience. The food is amazing (raw or cooked). There’s something for everyone who likes Sushi or Japanese cuisine. They also accommodate if you have dietary needs. Sit in or take out, DEFINITELY stop by!!!“

“Perfection! Super ecstatic that we discovered this gem in Astoria. The quality of the food here is exceptional and the prices are decent for what you’re receiving. The chef is Japanese, as well as the staff, so expect the food to be authentic and everything from hygiene to service to be top-notch! We sat at the bar with Chef Kondo directly before us, preparing our dishes. He was all smiles and extremely friendly, glancing occasionally to check on customers. When I reached the deep fried prawn head rested on the side of my sashimi platter, he advised me to break it in half first. I really needed some tips because the spikes from the head seriously would’ve caused me some injury. Besides the sashimi, we also ordered the octopus carpaccio, uni, fatty tuna roll, salmon avocado and eel avocado rolls (mad rolls) and everything was impeccably made. Do yourself a favor and eat here!“

“Tokyo Ya is a hiden gem best shushi all you can eat place. everything was cooked to perfection. Price is the cheapest AYCE. “It’s almost embarrassing how much I order from Kumo. Their teriyaki lunch platter is unbeatable pricewise and is so tasty. They know how to do tofu and salmon right and the rolls are always fresh. It’s a takeout spot so don’t plan to eat in. Food is ready quick and always hits the spot.“

“Abi has been my go-to Japanese in Astoria for nearly 10 years. They have hands down, THE best veg udon soup I've ever had. My partner and i order it regularly along with any of their many incredible vegan rolls. I wish they would label everything that's vegan as vegan, because they have an honestly impressive amount of options, and it's literally ALL good. Tofu nuggets, sweet potato, pumpkin, oh my... Their haru maki rolls are also vegan, and absolutely delicious.
