The wait wasn't terribly long at 3:30 (we waited about 30 min outside, though it was cold). The food was tasty and good quality, I liked the chopped cheese the most. Fun diner feel too! There was a minor holdup to actually get the food, but definitely worth it once we actually got to try it. Would recommend!“

“Came to L'incontro for a casual lunch on a Saturday around 2p. Did not have a reservation and was immediately seated. I gotta say, the service was excellent! Many waiters were serving us and they were constantly checking if we needed something. They were refilling out waters all the time and it was just very polite. What was interesting is the "daily special menu", the waiter was standing their reading about the daily special for like at least 5 mins and we had to stop him from continuing. Either way, we got the bucatini cacio e pepe and it was very yummy. My husband got the veal and it was not the most photogenic dish, but tasted much better than it looked. We also got the octopus, which was soaked in balsamic, also very nice. Overall a very nice traditional Italian place.“

I wish I had taken more pictures but standouts include the cold sesame noodles, popcorn chicken, and lettuce wraps among others. The service was excellent and their drink selection is quite good! I wish I had tried some of the cocktails but I was also perfectly content with my glasses of orange wine. I would love to come back again and try out other items on the menu!“
“Ordered the spicy salmon ramen and takoyaki. The ramen was really good with a rich broth but it wasn't spicy at all and started to taste a bit salty at the end. I wouldn't recommend the takoyaki because the portions are very small with a single piece of octopus in it for 10 dollars. Otherwise a great experience! + the servers were super nice“
“A warm local Georgian place which is owned by a super friendly and easy going owner with a simple but cute decor. The service is also great with the owner happy to recommend the dishes.I wanted to tick off the traditional Georgian dish, Adjaruli Khachapuri. It's basically a bread boat filled with cheese and raw egg yolk. It's a baked dish and is best eaten when hot. One needs to mix the raw egg yolk properly within the cheese and then devour it. The bread was easy to break with crisp sides while the cheese was really creamy and smooth. It basically felt like a better version of NYC cheese pizza minus the marinara, and I would happily choose this one over pizza! The dish is simple, filling and soul satisfying which made me love it. The prices too are pretty decent compared to the neighborhood they are located in.Overall an amazing experience with Georgian food, would definitely come back to try their Khinkali (dumplings) next time!“

Both meals were delicious, but I'd say the chicken was the best chicken I've had in years, hands down. Juicy with crispy skin and delicious sauce. The service was slow (took 40+ minutes to receive our food after ordering), but that's probably because we didn't get drinks or apps. Both looked great, but not for us. The vibe is a little loud, but great decor with very pleasant energy. Looking forward to bringing my parents here when they visit next time.“

You have to order a Khatchapuri! It's a must! We had Aragvi salad- absolutely delicious! The kids chose crepes with meat and kginkali, both finished to the last crumb! We had egplant rolls , pirk mtsvadi and potatoes with mushrooms to share, everything was so good! We all were full and very satisfied. My husband and I started by sharing the special salad chock full of blueberries, blackberries, pomegranate and hazelnuts. For our entrees, he opted for the well prepared black bass special, I enjoyed the pappardelle with sausage ragu. “An Excellent Turkish Restaurant in NYC !!!I was in New York City for a business trip last week and by searching for a Turkish place in Midtown I came across Akdeniz. I was met with true Turkish hospitality, everyone was very nice. I had the Iskender Kebab which tasted as if I was in Istanbul. It was very fresh and tasty. The babaghannous was nicely made you could taste the fresh roasted eggplant, as good as the best in Turkey. It was such a great experience that two days later I went back for lunch and had the Adana Kebab which was one of the best Ive had in the States. I highly recommend Akdeniz!!!“

Initially I was told I could only order food to go because someone was having a private party and they were prepping but then the man behind the counter walked me through the menu. He then suggested I have a seat and could eat in if I wanted. I chose to dine in and the food was fabulous. I got the bacon egg and cheese biscuit. They did not have the cheddar jalapeño biscuit I asked for but they added extra cheese to my sandwich to compensate. The biscuit was crunchy in the outside and soft on the inside. I'll definitely be coming back to try the chicken biscuit and all the different compound butters.“

The mushroom fettuccine had a better flavor but also could’ve had more flavor. Kale salad was alright; good as a $3 add on to pasta. Arancini was pretty crunchy but not sure if worth the price.Cramped sitting area but we managed to find a table for 5. Overall, reasonable pricing, good pasta texture but flavor was lacking.“

We were there March 3rd, 2024. just yesterday, I always order a different burger but instead I ordered the avocado eggs benedict it was soooo good and tasty.
