“Wow wow wow! Went here for my girlfriend’s birthday. Everything was excellent. The mushroom risotto with the pistachio crumble blew me away. The carbonara with guanciale was exactly what the doctor ordered (I am not a doctor). We left fat and happy, and I want to return soon. Thank goodness it’s so close!“

“This pizza is delicious. Even after 3 slices you don’t feel full and weighed down. So good. The dough is unlike anything I’ve had in a pizza. Soft yet crispy. The sauce , cheese all terrific. Found my new pizza joint.“

“I’m new-ish to the neighborhood and was looking for a place to enjoy a glass of wine and delicious Italian food at a place that felt like “home.”
The staff is kind, the food is fresh as well as some of the best I’ve had, the desserts are all made in house, and the space is warm and inviting.
5/5 recommend!“

“Being that this place just opened there was a wait to get in since the space is on the smaller side. Unfortunately they don’t take reservations, however they were able to accommodate our party of 5. We did overhear the party of 2 after us would have to wait 45 minutes, more or less, so timing is something to consider if you’re planning to come. Once we were seated, there was little to no wait being served water and complementary bread. We had questions about the wine and the waiter was really attentitive.
For appetizers we got the calamari and tuna tartare. Both were good but I’d definitely recommend the classic, calamari fritti. For entrees we got the fettuccine bolognese, porcini ravioli, and penne arrabbiata con salmone. The bolognese was a comforting classic with a big portion. The porcini ravioli was very creamy and flavorful, while the penne arrabbiata con salmone was very filling and as mentioned in the description, on the spicier side. Don’t forget to save room for dessert, the tiramisu was fluffy, airy and most importantly delicious.
Overall this place is good for classic pastas and a casual dinner. The only downside was that the bathroom was dirty, toilet paper on the floor, water all over, etc.“

“Classic no nonsense Italian cuisine! We had the baked filet of sole, Zuppa de mussels in butter wine sauce, calamari fritti, baked stuffed clams, Caesar salad, eggplant rolotini and Chicken Marsala. Delicious! The cappuccino was perfetto and they gave us a complementary after dinner aperitif drink“

“Craving Cacio e Pepe tonight, I decided to drop by Sotto La Luna for takeout. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by Francesca, one of the owners, who was incredibly sweet and welcoming. She suggested that I dine in at the bar, and I’m so glad I took her advice.
Sitting by the bar gave me a front-row seat to the culinary magic happening in the kitchen. Watching the chefs expertly prepare their pasta dishes was a delightful experience, and the ambiance of the restaurant only enhanced the experience. The decor is tasteful, creating a cozy yet elegant atmosphere.
As for the food, my Cacio e Pepe was served directly from a cheese wheel—an indulgent touch that made the dish all the more delicious. The flavors were spot on, and the pasta was perfectly cooked. Every bite was a testament to the quality and care that goes into the food here.
The service was top-notch, with attentive staff ensuring I had everything I needed. I’ll definitely be returning with friends to explore more of the menu. Sotto La Luna is a fantastic addition to the neighborhood, offering exceptional food and a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommended!“
