“Had a great birthday dinner with the family. We dropped in on the earlier side since we were dining with three young children, but the service and attention was great. The food was excellent - one of the best chicken parms I've ever had. Others in my party had the gnocchi pesto, tagatelle bolognese and the linguine di mare - all also loved their dishes.“

“Been meaning to stop in here for a while and we're glad we did! Made for the perfect lunch on an obscenely humid day. A/C was on, World Cup was playing, but the atmosphere was laid back and relaxed. The service was fantastic.
We both really enjoyed our tap wine - the pasta funghi, meatballs, and truffle fries were top-notch. And that Jesus cake ... that cake is something else. Unreal. We were both saying it was the best dessert we'd had in years.

“The risotto is always great. The special ravioli -- my husband couldn't get enough. We shared the special appetizer, a caprese salad presented in a creative way. Our waiter couldn't have been more perfect -- there when we wanted him, and then he left us alone.“

“This was the warm Italian hug I was wanting on our recent trip to NY. We were at the MOMI down the street, and had made reservations for dinner at Sac's after the museum. We had tired, hungry tummies, and were a good hour from our original reservation time. The good people over at Sac's accommodated my family immediately, and with pleasure! The atmosphere was welcoming, comfortable, inviting, and straight up authentic..this coming from a Sicilian girl with olive oil in her veins. My family ordered a variety of dishes, each one spectacular! 2 different pizza's, fried zucchini, sausage, and the BEST shrimp scampi I have ever eaten! The staff treated us like family, and were super attentive, anticipating our needs, and not missing a beat. At the end of our meal, Domenico Sacramone, one of the owners came by our table to chat, it was lovely and greatly appreciated! That's the extra touch of love, and attention someone who really cares about their business, and their customers puts out! It was genuine, and made the experience that much better! I have walk by this restaurant mant time but today I decided to go in and have some dinner, the food was really good, the serve was really friendly, to start they bring a small plate with chunks of parmigiano reggiano, olive and warm bread. I had the calamari and Mediterranean salad to start then, the fettuccine salmon, and spaghetti with shrimp the right amount of spicy and the close off with the home made ricotta cheesecake and homemade tiramisu.
I recommend coming here for dinner realy good restaurante with friendly staff and great food!!“

“Pasta, al dente. Sauce, out of this world. Vibes, off the charts. Il Nonno is such a breath of fresh (basil-filled) air. Last night, I stopped in with my friends for dinner and --more than once--after one side of the table tried a dish and implored the other to try, our eyes met in total food joy. "Oh my gah...this is SO good" was uttered too many times to count. Now let's get to the nitty, gritty. Our picks: Porcini ravioli (homemade pasta, phenomenal) Seafood risotto (menu says it's in a light tomato sauce. Definitely light, but it's far more flavorful than what I consider "light tomato sauce") Pasta Bolognese (another handmade wonder, lusciously complex sauce). Pasta Siciliana this one has eggplant and ricotta in a ROBUST sauce. Squid Ink Seafood Pasta was out of control. Like I need more savory adjectives in my life to describe this adequately. Apps. We loved all equally, but I mean calamari fritti is a no-brainer here and I literally had to slap the bread out of one friend's hand because she'd say she was full but relentlessly dipped more and more bread into the white wine mussels broth! The tuna carpaccio was almost too pretty to eat buuuut...we scarfed it down. Finally, Dessert. Chocolate cake (go with me here...you could smell the warm chocolate as it approached the table, incredible). Tiramisu, not too sweet, not too "damp"...perfection. And quite possibly even better than the banging food, we were lucky enough to chat up the delightful owner who introduced us to the chef (who happened to come from a VERY well-known Italian restaurant in Manhattan)! And all of the culinary magic instantly made sense. Don't walk. Don't run. Teleport to this place. Your taste buds will love you for it.“

“First time coming here but have been wanting to try! My husband got the Parkside Classic and I got the Turkey Pesto. The owner, Alden, was so so sweet and accommodating. He made the paninis fresh while we chatted with him. He also owns the gelato shop next door which is incredible.

The sandwiches were super fresh, tasty and decently priced. They were perfect to bring to the park. We'll def be making this a regular spot!!“

“We liked the calamari. Mozzarella sticks were unfortunately not homemade. It felt like they were frozen sticks from Costco. We both ordered pasta. It was not bad, but it was just bland. Very mediocre.

Staff was helpful and nice. Prices are below average, that's good. Their specialty is pizza, so maybe we missed out by not trying their pizza. I am not impressed by the other things unfortunately.“

“I usually order delivery but was needing to run an errand in the area so I decided to do a take away order. I got the spaghetti with meat sauce small size, but this could easily split into 2 meals. The guy behind the counter was super friendly & was accommodating to have my order done at a time where I could pick up after running my errand, which was about 10 mins. Their pizzas also looked yum so will need to try those next. Definitely a good place to try for some yummy pasta & pizza!“

“Really enjoyed the takeout I ordered for delivery. The Royal Greens Salads are huge!!! I would say they're twice as big as other salads chains. I wish it was easier though to know the dietary info for the salad dressings as I could not tell which ones were vegan. I love that you can choose your own protein and swap some of the toppings or build your own. I also got the green tofu curry dish from SriPraPhai as well. The sauce was incredibly flavor and I liked the amount of kick it had. It was spicy but not too spicy for me atleast. I do wish it had more tofu in it though as it felt very sauce heavy. I would order takeout from here again especially if I was getting food with someone who wanted something different then me. I appreciate the free delivery and the amazing portion sizes. It's nice to be able to order multiple cuisines as well.“
