Skip the pizza and pasta it’s not very good. This spot is good for the Balkan food.They have very specific items like popeci and priganice I don’t see at some of the other places in Astoria and they’re all fresh and well executed. The burek is very crispy and fresh, although they sometimes don’t have all the options like djerdan does I prefer these bureks and it has becomeMy default spot for this kind of food. Definitely recommend this spot for its balkan cuisine.

I definitely recommend trying their burek. A burek, for anyone that's not familiar, is a pastry with flaky crust and often filled with spinach, cheese, meat, and/or potatoes. I don't believe you will be disappointed!

Looking for a spot for a family dinner after a wake.....and found this hidden gem around the corner! Spoke with owner about having a party of 15-30 people. Unsure as to how many family members could attend and owner advised that he could set up easily for 20 and could add additional dishes if more attended. Price per head are reasonable and portions are great.Came back next day to try out food and we were Simply Blown Away. All dishes were amazing delicious. Decided not to look...read full review
