It would be more stars if they didn’t mess up my Uber Eats order every single time. They don’t have an option for Burek with meat in the system so you have to select burek with cheese and then write in special instructions that you want meat, but they never read instructions, I don’t understand what’s the issue.

Amazing food, amazing staff, amazing owner. As a person that's never tried food from the Balkins, this restaurant makes you feel right at home! The staff are super friendly and welcoming, the owner always greets you with a smile and ensures that you are taken care of. Can't recommend the burek enough, made from scratch and tastes so fresh!

Overpriced pleskavita, the burek was burnt, and flavor was seriously lacking. Also cashier speaks almost no english and did not put napkins in with the to go order. Will not revisit this place as there are way better places in Astoria to get Balkan food. Avoid.

Skip the pizza and pasta it’s not very good. This spot is good for the Balkan food.They have very specific items like popeci and priganice I don’t see at some of the other places in Astoria and they’re all fresh and well executed. The burek is very crispy and fresh, although they sometimes don’t have all the options like djerdan does I prefer these bureks and it has becomeMy default spot for this kind of food. Definitely recommend this spot for its balkan cuisine.
